The shiny sound, for some reason that wasn't in scarlet and violet
Need to be able to spam quick balls on wild pokemon. And the shiny sound 100%. Can't believe they didn't do that in SV.
Engage more than 1 pokemon at a time and the time distortions
Catching Pokémon outside of battles and the shiny sound

1:25 they have already revamped it in Lets Go, a game with no held items but featured Megas.

@@CANUBETHEOLDKANYEYou unlock the mega bracelet at a certain point. Then, if you have a Pokemon with a mega evolution, you just need to send them into battle and there's an option to mega evolve.
@@Tarro57 well you still needed their respective mega stones as well, but yeah they just sat in your bag, no holding required. That also meant you could choose between the X and Y megas for Charizard and Mewtwo on the fly, and the mega button in battle split into two accordingly. It was a very simple change, but one that I think would fit perfectly in a Legends game enviroment.

Linking Cords and just being able to use the evolution items that require trading but without trading was one of the best things PL:A did. Not all of us have friends to trade with or internet for that matter, so just letting us use the items like evolution stones for every game going forward would be truly convenient. Trade-only evolutions should be left in the past.
I'd like the portable boxes back, even if they are just at campsites (or whatever hub locations they use in ZA). Arceus was grindy because of having to go back to Jubilife Village and swap out Pokémon to complete dex entries.
I wonder if ZA will be more of a base building game. Legends Arcues, with Lumios city being the base and going into different areas and completing missions to evolve the city, unlocking more Shops, Gym leaders and facilities.
I love the linking cord! I got bored of BDSP, played Legends Arceus, then came back to BDSP and the linking cord (& metal coat, upgrade, ect) helped with almost all trade evos! Even if ZA only has that and the shiny sound I'd still be happy

I'm begging that the real time catching + dodging will return, and i really really hope that they'll include co-op like in sv. On that note the synchro machine in sv felt like a huge beta test to me and I can see them implementing playing as your pokemon. Maybe even battle as your pokemon?? Kind of like in pokepark!

Really liked the ability to complete Pokedex tasks to increase shiny rates on individual Pokémon. This meant you could target Pokémon you were interested in. Some of the tasks were a bit grindy and could be improved, but it was a great concept.

I love the idea of a shiny jingle toggle on/off. I love the shiny hunting in scarlet/violet and that you have to pay attention on the Pokémon around you. But for Pokémon such as Pichu and Gengar I would love to have a jingel when they are shiny. Or for the tiny Pokémon. My poor eyes 😅
Tbh it hard to find someone to trade Pokémon and sometime people don’t want to trade back the Pokémon you catch

I will always stand by saying that Legends Arceus is a pretty good first step, S/V improved in aspects like the story, but for me still hasnt reached theyre full potential. I hope we can see the premise that PLA and S/V proposed to its 100% potential with Legends ZA. Althout Ill try to keep my spectations low so I dont get dissapointed 😅

It's possible that pokemon with mega evolutions to have their mega evolution as a new ability instead of holding mega stones (as seen with Battle Bond, Ash's Greninja) I can see this being an option, because it would be far easier for them to be compatible with S/V than to code in the mega stones as well as the mega evolutions.
Shiny unlocked starters would just be a huge waste of time if the shiny rates are the same as LA, because likely you'll have research and be able to capture them overworld as with LA as it was a very popular feature - and I don't think the game designers want you constantly restarting the start, they want us to play the game as intended.
i want battle tree facility like in USUM where we can battle important character and champions to return so badly.
Didn't even think about the friend safari, it'd be an incredible waste not to incorporate it in ZA

Well, about the first point, we have megas in Let's Go without held items...
In let's go, we just have to have the mega stone in our inventory. I liked that mechanic
I hate being dependent on other players to complete portions of the game. Link cable would be great. Also, being color blind made shiny hunting really difficult in SV for me. I'd love to have that jingle
If someone has not played Legends Arceus yet, I think it's time to quit coddling them and stop providing spoiler warnings. It makes as much sense at this point as not spoiling the end of a 20 year old game, anyone who cares has already played it.

They NEED to bring the shiny jingle back. Shiny hunting has been awful since they removed it. Varying types and intensities of color vision deficiency exists across the world in rather high numbers. If they refuse to make more of the shiny variants noticeably and strikingly different, or subject us to constantly changing photorealistic light and shadows, give us the sound!

I think there is a pretty good chance they could give us a Mega Evolution for Arceus. - With Mega returning for this title and Arceus probaly being a final Pokemon to catch again, they might as well put a spin on it. In the first Legends game, it was the Legend Plate for Arceus. But I think they will add something new to make this versions Arceus have a new gimmick. A Mega seems like something with a pretty good possibility.
Since Arceus is the God Pokemon, it might as well be able to do everything that any other Pokemon can and it will also give it the stat spread to really feel like the God Pokemon, when compared to other currently top tier Pokemons. And since it is its own game, giving it a new form will not affect competitive pokemon.
I honestly doubt Arceus will be in this game. In fact, I don’t see them including any mythicals outside of gen 6, since PLA didn’t have any mythicals outside of gen 4.
@@DaSheepKiller If the A in the title Z-A is for Arceus, then I definitively think that Arceus is going to be there again.
But if the A stands for something else, then I agree that he is likely not included in this game.

@@supermariogamer1757 It was just a thought because I interpretted Legends Z-A as: Legends Zygarde-Arceus. And also thought it would require Arceus if there was time travelling again. But maybe the A is not for Arceus.
And Zygarde can still be the main focus and Arceus just being someone to Challenge when everything is catched, like in the first game

I’d like to see all the other evolution items work like the linking cord too like the reaper cloth and electrizer and things
Things we need that we haven't seen in any Pokemon game
1. Housing and custom housing
2. Expansive customizable characters
3. Specialization (they got so close in scarlet with this one but fell off) to play the game as a prospective champion, gym leader to opening your own gym and customizing it, pokemon photographer, etc. fully immersive world (less linear and more "Skyrim")
4. A pokeball changer I can change your pokeball as long as you have the pokeball that you want to change into materials and the pokedollars to do so so that it encourages a grinding aspect.
5. Make protect, detect, baneful bunker, and all protective moves that negate all damage one PP max to encourage more aggressive play in the competitive series.
6. Make breeding shinies for gender differences easier by lowering the rate to 1/200 with matsuda if you have one parent as a shiny already (but it has to be the actual pokemon not the ditto to keep it fair)
7. Real pokemon cries and voice acting
8. (Controversial) Classic xp grinding with no ExP share. The pokemon fighting gets the exp only to encourage longer gameplay.
9. The removal of IV / EV's completely and focus with active competitive balancing and changes by game freak/nintendo to remove "cheating" completely.
10. The ability to FINALLY catch them all! (Full game you can catch all 1000+) Pokemon and travel the entire pokemon world, live where you want and play how you want.

Gender difference shiny aren't a made concern for them to put time to boost those odd 7. That will get people to play longer but it kills replaying because it takes to long to finish ( like a couple RPGs) P.S how it that the only controversial thing they think they said 9. I agree 110% with you
1. Gens 2-4 as well as ORAS seemed to be taking steps forward in this regard, only for it to all be thrown away afterwards.
2. Yes. Scarlet/Violet taking a step backward in this regard was so annoying.
3. Yes, it’d be so cool to be able to pursue something other than becoming champion, even if it’s only in one game.
4. I’ve always wanted this to be a thing. Even if it requires extra effort, there should be a way to change one of your Pokémon’s Poké Balls.
5. No, that would be dumb. But reducing it to 8 max would be fine. Also on the subject, they need to nerf Unseen Fist already.
6. Breeding for shinies is super tedious, so I’m fine with there being a way to further increase the shiny odds. I’d say that the odds should be further increased only if both parents are shiny.
7. We don’t need the anime cries in the games. PLA & gen 9 reverted Pikachu & Eevee’s cries back to the game version, and it should stay that way. The only changes that the cries should have, if any, is reverting the gens 1-5 cries back to how they were before gen 6.
8. The best way to go about that would be to have a toggle, like gens 6 & 7 had.
9. I think the system is fine because being able to basically customize your Pokémon’s stats is a good thing for competitive. They just need to make it more accessible. Make it easier to reduce EVs (either have a full reset that isn’t both expensive and locked behind DLC, or just bring back berry farming), and allow players to reduce a Pokémon’s IVs (in 1 or all stats) to zero like they’ve been asking for for years.
10. This will never happen. A Pokémon game with every region & every Pokémon would be cool, but it’ll literally never happen. Also it’d become outdated quickly unless it’s either updated constantly, or it’s the last Pokémon game to ever release. And updating a game that isn’t the newest or ending the series are both things that’ll never happen either.

Game freak calls legends, BDSP and let’s go all mainline games so they are no matter what fans say even I don’t like let’s go but because game freak calls it a mainline game it is. I think it would be a safe to say any Pokémon game made by GF/ILCA/Pokémon works is a mainline game. If its not to your liking then just don’t play it like I didn’t let’s go just wasn’t for me.
Legends is a mainline game, similarly to how Mario, Zelda and Metroid have 2D series and 3D series games. All of them are mainline, just different
Pokémon couldn't hold items in LGP/LGE, and yet they could mega evolve there, too; "they" being the Pokémon, who could evolve. I don't know if it is necessary for Pokémon to be able to hold items.

I also hope that abilities return in Legends Z-A. For many megas, including (but not limited to) Pinsir, Mawile, Glalie, and especially Kangaskhan, the entire appeal behind them is their ability. If they don’t have their abilities, then what’s even the point of bringing them back?
The shiny sparkle and chime was so wonderful. Plus, if you weren't sure where it was, even with a save, immediately hit the Switch Capture so you could play the clip back so you could see it. That's how I found my shiny Remoraid.

We also need that absolutely iconic evolution cutscene back or something even cooler 🎉
EV and shiny sound and breeding
I hope part of the story revolves around discovering mega evolution and that our player character is the person that first discovered the phenomenon.
I'm for the breeding mechanic to be implemented in PL: Z-A and i hope we can hatch (shiny)alpha pokemon.
Shiny locks should only exist for pokemon that the player cannot catch
I like not having the shiny jingle. Even though it was difficult to notice some shinys, it felt very real world. But I do like your idea of making it optional for those that want it

Actually, held items were also not in LGPE, yet the game did feature mega evolutions. I don't think it's as necessary to the mega evolution feature as it would seem (and I'm gonna say it will still not feature PvP battles for it to be a way to gatekeep power creep).

If gamefreak would of kept the mechanics of arceus so far as out on the map went that s/v would of gone better. And if they revamp the mega evo anyway id say make the stones key items and letting you keep a held item as well for some insane fun.
Mass Outbreaks are so boring in Scarlet and Violet - the only one I thought was cool was with the Alolan Raichu because you couldn't get it any other way. I hope they do something that makes them more worthwhile. Arceus outbreaks were great.
I just straight up think the sound and sparkles makes it feel like more of an event! Everytime i hear the sound i freeze up, especially if its not in an outbreak. SV youre always checking like is that one?? Should I KO it to check??

I didn’t care for Legends Arceus tbh. For starters, the player can be knocked out from falling or taking damage from Pokémon and you can get tagged teamed by all nearby Pokémon which I couldn’t stand. In time distortions it was so hard battling an Aloha because they often times spawned with two other powerful Pokémon.
Acceptable graphics, limited glitches, and fun?
I hope they rework the noble battles, a trainer battling a Pokemon (throwing bags of crap and dodging attacks) is lame. It was my most hated aspect of PLA. It’s even contradictory to Pokemon. In season 1 ep.2 ash was told trainers don’t battle Pokemon, that trainers battle Pokemon with Pokemon. They need to change to noble battles to solely Pokemon vs Pokemon.
Please no more strong and agile style or something like that.

There is nothing really I want to see return in Legends Z-A because nothing is going to make this game good for me. Action RPG main line pokemon games is just a mistake. I suppose regional forms and new pokemon could be considered something i like to see. But I have no faith in this game. Especially as mega evolution is returning and I do not like that gimmick at all.
