I've been to Kennywood countless times over the years. I never thought I would see something so massive and extreme there. Hope to make it in from New Hampshire this summer!
I'm a local just uploaded a vid and man I am just in awe I live about 3 miles away from park and I can see this mega structure going up from my back yard! Like it's in my skyview now like wow its so tall I can see it from where my home is! Like I can't wait! I am huge fan of the Phantom I never thought they would out do it! Sad the log jammer is gone but oh this is beyond what I ever imagined from them! I hope this attracts huge amounts to keep the park going! Just so excited!
Cassalyn my father did the word search competition and won to be on the first train ever. Back row, me and him. Probably gonna be just me and one other winning group cuz the other 10 are in Virginia to all the way in Cali.
I must agree with the original poster. Also every summer it's the same thing, atleast one popular ride here is closed for repairs just about every day, so I predict this won't be open much this season, but seems like it will impress those who can ride it.

i really hope this new track profiling makes the newer S&S coasters smoother than before. im kind of worried for this and Maxx Force, im worried that both Steel Curtain and Maxx Force will get negative reviews for being rough.
daphix same!! I’m also what is going to happen when like steel vengeance and these new wicked rides to age, going through those whips without a smooth ride experience won’t be fun.
S&S is using Vokoma Tracks, so I see it being smooth for a long time. I doubt this will get too rough, although it may get rough. I’m sure if it does get rough, which will happen some point, they will retract it
Is that a curse being projected against the Steel Curtain? Because DrachenFire was such a headache inducing rough ride that Bush Gardens Williamsburg got rid of it after.a few years. However, I also get a DrachenFire vibe from some of these elements in the Steel Curtain POV (and not in a good way).

As a sports commentator, it’s pretty amusing to see a ride themed after an NFL team. I love how everyone thinks the Steelers will be in the afc wild card round, but they will lose in their division.
Wow!!! That first drop with the barrel roll type deal that starts you off is so high up and then that goes into the actual first drop is fricken INSANE!!!! Then straight into that GIANT boomerang looks crazy fun too!! This looks like it maybe the best new coaster for 2019 between every park adding a new coaster for 2019. From the East coast all the way to the West coast......this May too the charts.

If it’s smooth it could easily be a Top 20. And if those airtime hills are as good as they look Top 10
That drop is just going to be a larger version of Gatekeeper’s. So probably a little bit more forceful but by much. Definitely will have some speed.

Go look up the Steel Phantom. It was the fastest and tallest coaster in the world in 1991. We have done it before. This is overdue.

I spotted several top gun stall-like moments. I don't think I've seen any outside of an RMC.
