Keto all the way. Pros- not hungry, so you don’t go crazy. Using my spare tire as energy source. Tasty, healthy food- I eat a lot of salmon packets in EVOO, add more EVOO, nut butters, spice mixes. Dark chocolate with nut butters. Bone broth powders. Matcha tea. Dehydrated vegetables, seaweed. Canned sardines if I don’t need a bear canister. Canned trout, canned mackerel. Shelled hempseed. Super nutrient dense foods, and being keto, means I can carry much lighter loads for long carries. And poop… that one woman brags about pooping every morning. I’d rather poop every three or four mornings. Keto is efficient so there’s less waste. The body is burning its own fat and using the nutrients I’m feeding it. My goal is to be way over 150 cal/oz. Anti inflammatory foods. Lots of fish. Lots of superfoods.
