- I've been wanting to do this for years on my own reloading bench but have been too lazy. Probably because I have not seen a decent job on YT where it didn't look all janky and half-ass attention to detail kind of job. My OCD would get the best of me.
Now that someone else needs it done to their bench, this is the video where I document the process. Took our time. Probably over engineered to process with guides and jigs, but I'm liking how the finished product turned out. I would not think twice about doing this to my bench. Only word of caution is to come up with some type of jig so you can router less or more shallow cuts instead of the full 7/16" at once.
Again, lovin' how it actually turned out. Good stuff!
Great job. Nice to have a very well behaved Aussie helping out.
Thanks. Yes, a well behaved Aussie with an amazing personality and boundless energy!
@@ReLoadersBench we have a Minnie. I know all about it. Lol
Ha we spoke about this mast night on Ga Chat!
Thanks for the video, looking to do the flush system on my bench
That turned out really nice! Great work! Are you considering putting T-Track on that bench as well?
Thanks. If the bench's owner wants to do T-Track, it would be simple enough to do (and I'd video that too ;-)
Looks awesome. Love those tables but can’t fit another in the room
Thanks. Yeah, these benches are sturdy/solid, mobile and great for reloading IMO.
are those the bolts that came with the baseplate? I'm surprised they wouldn't be black to match the steel plate.
No, those are nuts/bolts we bought sized to the bench
Good job is right ! How did you choose that caulk to use ?
I was looking for black caulk specifically (vs a "sealant") and found this @ HD. I thought it was a decent finishing touch to blend the straight but not exact fitting/cuts.
@@ReLoadersBench Thank you :-))
I know the Kardashians are able to find black caulk everywhere
What is the name an # of the router bit i know you said it was a 1/4 " shank and 3/4" cutting bit I'm looking for that specific router bit
