i picked this saw up on an online auction few weeks ago and wanted to see it cut wood again before I passed it to the next person.

It was ripping through a lot faster than my McCullough 62 cc saws do. Ripping wood (cutting lengthwise ) without ripping chains is always gonna put more load on the saw than crosscuttting does. Anyway, I sure wish I had a saw like that, it would make my life a lot easier lol.

Had one, barely fit in an 8 foot pickup bed. The only markings on mine were Mercury.

I got a Canadiana pm 340 circa 50's or 60's I get a bark from it when I put gasoline in the cylender
