The processes don't change and the skills move in from generation to generation of staff. Wonderful to see Graham's calm leadership again. I well remember him persuading this offshore sailor that an engine was not required. We've been "Friends" for years now and both our children learnt their sailing skills in these beautiful vessels.

Thank. We hope to encourage a new generation of sailors to experience the 'slow' pleasure of traditional sailing, with no luxuries, just the wind, wood and water, and an immense amount of fun, pleasure and unforgettable memories.

Wow I love old stuff like this! Bit like watching a Jack Hargreaves film! :) I have lovely memories of the Broads - Wroxham, up to Potter Heigham through that bridge with a pilot!) then beyond. Then down to Breydon Water (some stuck fools!) and down beyond. I also loved The Fens from Cambridge to Bedford.

😃That was team work the old fashion +++ way, the younger fella does all the work while the older ones get the main paycheques🙂
Seriously these slow, real work, videos are good for the soul. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you. Our aim is to ensure that future generations will be able to 'Sail into history' on board one of this remarkable and unique surviving fleet. All the boats built in the 30's and just after the war are still sailing proudly. Traditional techniques are still used because they work. There is simply no need to change them.

Thank you. The yard team works very hard during the winter maintenance period to ensure that the boats all go out looking their best. The launching will all happen again in March

    Excelente contenido!
Pero alguien que me explique: porque los botes no se caen de lado mientras avanzan deslizando por sus quillas fuera del agua?
