Il vostro lavoro è meraviglioso. Precisione estrema, chiodi in rame, sarà una barca bellissima. Congratulazioni.

That was a real pleasure to watch I would be honoured to sweep their work shop

Dad was a cabinet maker/finish carpenter . I'd sit on a stool and watch him build a kitchen worth of cabinets in the garage, load up the station wagon , drive to the new home, and install it all. I like to see and hear the planes shaving the curls in the boatwright shop. Bless all of you.

Absolutely incredible work. Well done to all the boatbuilders. It's great to see these skills being retained perfected and passed on to another generation.

Wow. Every tool in the shop is scary-sharp.
Which makes hand work take less effort AND gives better surface finish. Great to see (and hear...)

Very beautifully done. How I'd love to own a boat like that. With the sail up to me looks like paradise. Such dedication to detail.

How do you balance artistic integrity with commercial demands when working on wood sculpting projects? Have you ever had to compromise your vision, and how did you feel about the outcome?

They look just like a Scottish yole, unsurprisingly so, due to the cross cultural ties between the Orkneys, Shetlands and N Scotland with Norway.

What’s he shaping at 2:30? Forward/ aft garboard section ? Rather than steaming in?

3" plank shaped and thinned to 5/8 " that holds its shape over time better than steamed plank. Steaming have also been normal on this type of boat. But its considered something that was done to save time and build quicker. And loose some of the performance in the boat.
