This was an absolute joy to watch! I truly appreciate the time you took to talk about my project! You've definitely earned not only my like, but my subscription as well. B) As for me talking about Ubisoft's Uno... be sure to check out the next part when it releases........... Once again, I appreciate you! Thanks for this!
Fun fact: DOS' rules were so confusing and boring that Mattel had to release a "second edition" of the game last year that got rid of some cards and updated the rules to be more like actual UNO lmao
I own dos two and its still confusing. my friends dont even wanna play it with me cuz no one can understand it. (No actually I am for real. I own many many UNO Version including SKip Bo and such. They liked ONO 99 the most for some reason and the only gam ethey did not wanna play with me was DOS SecondEdition. We played all the others.)
I'd really like to see choopo tackle Calvin and Hobbes in the future. I imagine the debate over whether or not Hobbes is imaginary or real in some way would lead to good material
the reality of calvin and hobbes makes me cry as an adult thinking back to reading the comics, i loved their relationship but as an adult realizing hobbes was most likely just a toy and it was all imagination is strangely sad in my head
Every time at my youth group I bring a copy of Uno so we can play what we call "Spicy Uno:" -If a 7 is played, you must slap it on the deck and the last person to do so draws a card. -The "jump-in" rule applies (if you have the exact same card as the one on the deck, you can play it out of turn) -If a 4 is played, no one can talk until another is played (1 word = 1 card) -If you have no cards to play, you can ask others to give you cards, but they can bluff and give you trash
Fun fact: the developer behind the Deltarune crossover fangame "Delta Traveler" programmed a version of Uno into their game as an optional minigame. They even added in the "say Uno when you're down to two cards" mechanic. The version in the game is similar enough to what im used to; first one to play all of their cards wins.
When I was in inpatient we played ‘no rules uno’. Essentially, no one could choose between playing stacks or not, then a couple people would start cheating but we’re being funny about it. It ended in the game being so frustrating that the first person to throw down all their cards won.
So glad you shouted out the amalgam. Once you started talking about the real old versions and the superhero ones I knew you were getting info from there. Cool smaller channels shouting out eachother is awesome spread the love
Uno Amalgam seems like such a cool idea, I will totally watch it! I like doing the same thing with Exploding Kittens, adding all DLCs into one. Thanks for the recommendation, and great video!
You speaking of the Cars and Planes Uno reminded me of a promotion that has been made in 2013 in Belgium, where you would get one pack of Uno-like cards (they were not official, but the game was exactly the same as regular uno,) for every 20€ spent or for certain products bought at the chain of supermarkets Cora. It was actually these cards that introduced me to the game, and I discovered the official version only four years after.
Uno Flip has been the source of many core memories. We played it a lot back in my flat at uni and it was chaos. I love the added element in getting to see the back of everyone’s hand so when someone flips the deck, you have to remember what action cards they had. The amount of times we would all keep placing down +5 cards until one unlucky soul had to pick up 20-30 cards. It was magical. My favourite though were definitely the “Pick up until you get card” which me and a friend had fun with. Every so often we’d remove 1-2 purple cards from the deck over the course of a few months. And eventually it got to a point where if someone was told to pick up ‘til they got purple, they’d be picking up most of the deck. Good times.
3:36 One of the dares is "Act like a dog until your next turn" and another is "Baby talk until your next turn". Not even UNO Spinoffs are safe from Therans or Discord Kittens...
I dont know why this pisses me off so much but whenever someone tries to play multiple cards at once with the only connection being that they're the same number (not even the same color aswell) it just sends me off my goddamn rocker, thats the most unfair shit that is used by children so they can feel like they're good at something and I hate fun so screw that
"I think the magic behind UNO lays behind making your friends suffer for an extended period." This was, without a doubt, the idea in the board room of those who manufactured the game.
I've been following the amalgam for a while and its fucking wild genuinely did not expect you to bring up the amalgam, glad you did though cuz more people need to know about the BEAST that is Chemicards/Uno Amalgam
I love how Uno just became the universal game of no one knows the fucking rules to. Like you just create your own rules of that point I want to play with a kid he wasn’t playing win. He just was playing to be infuriating dude was a menace.
The Harry Potter uno also has an invisibility cloak with it as well, where you can pretty much dodge a card. My mom and I used to play it all the time when it came out in the early 2000s.
In high school When playing uno in my friends group we had these rules. (For the game rule pack, which had the blank write cards and the swap car deck.) 1. Stacking anything rules, by numbers 2. If you wanna stack any plus cards you don’t have to do additional or anything. Meaning you can put a plus 2 on a plus 4. ( because a lot of people used to get mad about the normal way.) 3. ( my favorite *cancel cards*.) meaning you can use a skip card as a way to block anyway plus cards, family rule cards, or even swap cards. (Because the way my friends used to play was toxic so we use *cancel cards* as a way to chill the game.) 4. If you get a blank rule card, it depends on the game. However it would most likely just turn into a basic change color card. 5. The drew S card: when I first got the blank rule card I wrote down Draw 5 card, however it looked very funny with my bad handwriting. So we called it the all power Drew S card where a player had to pick up 5 cards. If you try to cancel it or add any plus cards, you would gain an additional two cards for breaking the rules. 6. Pretty basic if you make a mistake, you pick up two cards. Like if you accidentally put an 9 over a 6 card, you would have to pick up 2 cards from the deck.
Thank you Choopo. I forgot about AH's Uno Movie and I'm going to watch it again after this. I kinda miss AH and the fact that this video will be at least someones introduction to AH. Also thats for making so many good quality and bingable videos!

i have a hannah montana uno deck - but one of the numbers (specifically #6) is a picture of ashley tisdale instead of hannah montana, so my friends and i added the "ashley tisdale rule" where if someone puts down an ashley tisdale card we have to slap the person to your left
i love the uno games 😂 the version that shoots cards in your face was easily my favorite. i love the digital ones because they add other non-uno shit in them and it’s just madness
i play uno everyday with my friends during our lunch break, its the edition where theres blank wild cards. our rules: someone says uno for you before you: draw two, lie about card amount (for swap hands): draw two, call uno on someone when they have more than one card: draw two, and stacking. plus we dont write on the cards you get to just make a rule when you play it, we do vote to see if the rule is too op though.
One of my biggest achievements in life was winning a round of Minecraft Uno against 7 other people, one of them being my teacher. The additional rule being a Creeper +3 card.
I once put on the custom uno card that the next person had to take the whole discard pile. Biggest mistake of my life. It was like playing the card game War (game length-wise) but since it was uno and betrayal and frustration is higher than war since it is more of a mindless game, everyone in my family was just so pissed.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the actual uno dice games and just mentioned a version *with* them I got the newer version that comes in a fake soda can for storage but there's an older one with more dice from the 80s or so that I almost got for Christmas but unfortunately did not Still funny as ever choopo!
When I was in rehab we had an uno game with the custom cards in it and my pod unanimously wrote “call Morty [me] short or draw twenty cards” on all the cards when I was in the bathroom. But the caretakers deemed that as bullying so they had to rewrite all the cards. Someone wrote “do five hundred jumping jacks or draw fifty cards” and of course, because it’s rehab, and because it’s UNO, someone actually did it.
One time I made a custom card where you just had to get rid of all yellow cards, in your hand, in the pile, in the deck, and even though it’s a wild card, you can’t choose yellow cards
i love this video. i collect uno, and rn i have 30 ish (not including duplicates). i loved seeing all the ones i have in real life :) my collection is ongoing, and i dont play each one, but this vid is awesome and makes me like the game more than i did before. made me smile today.

Coming from Chemicards. Gotta say those 2 images at 8:32 really fit the thumbnail theme that's been going on with the episodes.
I have to agree 😂

is playing hundreds of rounds of uno in inpatient just a universal mental hospital experience? cause we’d do the same when i was in inpatient!
I found and bought a set of Dos cards in a charity shop once, a few years ago. I had previously thought it was a photoshopped joke.
Technically, the actual Uno rules allow stacking cards that skip a player, but only when there are two players.

consider the japan-only "UNO: The Medal", where the game is adapted into a COIN PUSHER MACHINE (a.k.a. "medal game")
