Most of the bands on warped are on ears, so little to no stage volume of anything. Also probably using a mic placed near the kit, wouldn't pick up much of the crowd. Hell, the few bands I bothered to watch when I went for the day couldn't hear much crowd side stage.

Well for one, it's a completely different drummer. Branden Steineckert was the drummer on the studio version of this song. But even Branden played some of their songs slightly different than the studio versions. This is Dan, and he does play it differently as well. Not badly. He just has a slightly different feel and way of playing.
Will Baldwin the rack tom is up, almost between his snare and floor tom. His floor toms are angled out away from him which gives a different look and feel when it comes to the rolls. And the crash cymbal is far off to the right. But as a drummer, you play what's comfortable to you and your specifications. I wouldn't say anything is out of place here, jus fit to his own style and comfort. I've spent the last 14 years I've been playing drums rearranging my kit and cymbals for not only comfort but also style. I like my drums to look as functional as they are to play. We drummers tend to be real "OCD" when it comes to how our drums are setup. Lol. I was the same way with my guitar gear. It really just comes down to personal preference tho. To each his own. :)
