please don't forget to like the video and subscribe. every little bit helps people see these videos :)
Is the sound isolated or something, or is it the only think you can hear there.. I mean all the other sounds are projected to the stage
Oliver Torres most musicians us in ears monitors so stage volume is less and since drums is acoustic it gets captured by his camera with microphone on stage
I bet he would smile in his sleep if was playing it in his sleep.
Paul Kohler is such an underrated drummer. Dudes got some sick chops
Absolutely crazy to see this dude still drumming with the same precision and passion he had at 22 when Discovering The Waterfront came out.
Calibur43 it becomes a muscle memory and nostalgia kicks in! Combine both and you will have early years kick in!
Dude, well said, Silverstein in general, all those dudes stay so consistent.
They are a tight band live, just saw them the other day in Philadelphia, i def recommend catching them anytime you can.
@@hoagie7859 fucking jealous. I always miss their damn shows. I think Shane lives here in LA now though so hopefully they'll have some more shows here soon.
@@garrettallain1694 hes still got his old house up here in Burlington. Maybe hes got a 2nd pad.
He could probably play this in his sleep.
While he's smiling
+Tacolord haha
While he smiles -> :D
He probably wrote this song when he was 18-19, he's in his mid-30s now. I bet he could do it in his sleep.
Piper muscle memory :p
Incredibly underrated drummer. I remember when the video for this song came out and I was mezmorized by his work. Solid af.
one of the best in the scene for sure
Exact same for me. Not even a fan of the band. Never forget this song though.. Because of the drums. I saw it on MuchMusic when it was new. A standout song for me for sure from my early drumming days. Hes only gotten better you can tell by his articulation.
Most drummers from this era of music were all underrated .... From glassjaw to these guys to senses fail ... All these drummers were awesome
@Brian Muehlher this dudes name is not Aaron..
Fucking same, one of the best scenes to be apart of, this music was thriving and Paul Koehler was and is still one of my favorite drummers. This band will always be one of the big reasons i got into the scene, and Koehlers drum work never went unnoticed.
This snare sounds amazing
That was so tight! That snare is life.
Dude is just as solid as when this song came out. One hell of an under rated drummer
I love his cymbal usage. like half my drumming style came from listening to Paul! Such a unique drummer!! Wish the new album was as good as this QQ
idk whats more awesome. The drumming skills or the fact hes wearing a hatebreed shirt
The blood’s dripping, look at his right hand. What a great drummer. Great tone, especially the snare.
the emo is strong with him
1:54 cameraman starts feeling it! XD
Black Dynamite lmaoooo
Thats the best part of the song.
😅
He's really tight. Damn.
if I didnt know any better Id think hes someones high school math teacher
Brett E is he?????
#mathrock
I'd kill to have him as one of my teachers back in high school
He looks alot like my math teacher and my math teacher is a drummer loll
🤣 yeah snooze fest.
Wish they had more drum cams love watchn him play the goat.
This was one of the first drum parts that I learned that made me realize the creativity that go into drumming, and made me fall in love with the genre
They say that a band is only as good as their drummer... well Silverstein is very lucky to have Paul behind the kit! What a great drummer!
one of the best in the scene by far
That 1 dislike will have his eulogy read.
I have to watch this video at least once a day. In love with how easy he makes it look.
God bless Paul for being a big drumming inspiration. God bless Tim for capturing this performance.
Drumming so tight. Love that he’s wearing a Hatebreed T shirt too
His accents and cymbal work are freaking solid as heck
underrated musician
I have known and been friendly with Silverstein for a long time, since like 2003. I was a junior in high school and played my first show with Silverstein and Bayside and had them come and stay with our drummer after the show. Since then, they have remembered us every time we have seen them since then.
Silverstein will always be one of those nostalgic bands for me. The really hard thing to believe is that not only have they been around since the early 2000s, but they’ve had the same lineup since the early 2000s too. Really solid dudes, will always have a place in my heart.
paul koehler is a god.
I think I’ve watched this about a million times. Drums are absolutely awesome and on point
Awesome! :) Dude still kills it all these years later.
1:16 guitarist drops his guitar pick to the drummer :p
Autumn Paul Marc the guitarist sometimes does that. He puts a pick on the cymbal and tries to get it fly back to him and catch it
I'm not even a drummer, but these drum cams are incredible to watch. Keep up the good work!
Yes we all want to see this. Thank you.
Love how the drums sounds in this video dude killed it!
Went to a show back in 2006 with my uncle, and he caught Paul's drumstick. It's become one of my most prized possessions. :)
this dude is seriously clean. love seeing drummers just killing it even if it isn't the most difficult arrangement.
A fuckin master of his craft. Underrated
This is phenomenal! So freaking cool to see PK slamming those drums
Saw them in November in Grand Rapids, then again at Oakland in July! Favorite band of all time. 100%
Awesome. One of my favorite bands, still to this day. They've aged very well
really appreciate these drum cam vids......awesome!
Amazing guy, playing an iconic song. Thanks dude.
Best drummer of post hardcore genre till now and forever.
I didn't know I needed this. Amazing
Awesome. Love this song.
Love his playing super clean! And he does not over play! Big fan!
play the way i do because of this dude and this song really, awesome hes still absolutely KILLING it with such simple movements
I think drumming is the hardest part in a band. And he is awesome af!
That's debatable, even being a drummer myself. Really depends on the genre of music. Some music styles aren't very hard to do consistently. But pop punk/emo/post hardcore..all that kinda stuff definitely has some amazing drummers. So maybe in this particular band I'd say he is the most impressive at this particular instrument.
Theres nothing insanely crazy about him as a drummer but theres something about how he plays that makes me keep watching allot of his drumming, the way he play is satisfying
"hold my beer and grill spatula sonny i just gotta drum for this gig quick"
This is everything!
Going to see these guys November 9th cant wait!!!!🤘
Paul Koehler has always been amazing i really liked the drummer from senses fail to
Holy shit this dude is solid
So cool to watch this.
Love this!!!!
Silverstein, funeral for a friend, from first to last and the used. Were always my fav bands as a teenager
I had no idea he was that good. Definitely gonna give them another listen
thomas hewick try [this is how the wind shifts] ...my fav album
I used to jam to this when I had a set, good song to learn and plenty of parts to add fills
Gostei muito, curto tudo isso! Parabéns!!!

Love that flow he’s got.
Just amazing

i love the way his drums sound!!! pretty sure he plays udrums.
He adds a little double kick part in the first section. Amazing song, amazing band.
Fucking ripper this guy! Paul is so under rated. Has just been the most consistent in his parts.
That was PERFECT
Amazing quality. The wobbling gets me sick though lol I still watch all your vids regardless 😂
What a great drummer

That snare sounds amazing
Just insane!!

Most iconic drum intro of your highschool days.

Moreee of paulll
Best Band ever 👍
The drums are the best part of this song, period.
Good times!
Yessss
Love those drum rolls fucken on fire
He looks like either a high school band teacher or a really cool history teacher.
He has really solid dynamics
One of the few heavier bands that can pull it off without double bass. He's been in the band since the beginning?
Bourbon Ernie yeah original drummer
Pretty sure the entire band has been there since the beginning.
Edit: save for one guitarist, the entire band is part of the original lineup!
im sure this isn't the same drum lines from the studio version (which is more simple), however its just to show us how amazing paul is, he could play it without losing it essence... amazing.
I’m impressed
Great drummer!
Super Dope!
Too good
That hi-hat work is fuckin spot on my man!
Hell yeah!!
