This is the second year I went crazy comparing Samsung and Moto when I went to order the Flip (which i did because it is built better). I was waiting for the 50 mp sensor upgrade and have a years high approval of the Flips shape. I do hope Samsung picks up it's slack on the front screen especially since they make screens! Wow Samsung switch you are weird!

The approach of the Razr 50 Ultra is it more appealing because of the lower price but still beat the Flip 6 in many options.

With all due respect, you didn't mention one of the most important & worthwhile features for a flip phone: The ZFlip's LACK of ability to use the Google Assist HANDS-FREE while closed. (The ZFlip used to do this...until it stopped long ago, with no fix in sight).
Conversely, the Razr does this perfectly, making it a truly hands-free device! That alone makes it the only choice!

I dunno if, in a real usage, is better to have a top Processor in a small frame, that can throttling and Cook the small battery,
is better than have a medio-high soc in the same condition.

Update support on Motorola is just horrible… if you don’t care much about safety or updates in general I guess the Motorola is better

I see tons of Samsung knights use this argument against the Moto Razr. No one's gonna hack your phone, not getting updates as often as the Samsung isn't gonna change your life.
Really, It boils down to this..
If your a power user that just happens to want a flip phone, get the flip 6. If your a casual that wants the best media experience, the Moto dominates in virtually every aspect that matters for a flip phone. Samsung dropped the ball with the flip 6 this year imo

@@mikevsworldofficial exactly as a software engineer I can say updates are only going to slow your phone down overtime. However when Google makes security patches to fix a potential hacking vulnerability then that should be immediately pushed by the manufacturer. That's how a manufacturer can show the customer that they care not only about sales but also about after sales and the customer's privacy and safety

@@mikevsworldofficial in fact, I’m using an apple device so a Samsung Knight is nowhere to be found but having no arguments makes it easy to run around and talk smack to random people on the internet. Not everybody is as careless as you when it comes to safety and security

Ive have had razr 2020,2022,40 ultra, and for some reason now the 50 ultra, when it comes to os updates yeah they are a little slow, but, security patches have been regular and on time with each version of Android i find they don't really bring a lot of advancements in day to day use i cant tell the difference from my android 12razr to android 14,im more concerned with my security updates..

Nobody keeps their phone for 7 years. So the 3 to 4 years is more realistic. Samsung is doing this to sway customers as if they have a better phone….but they do not.

ive tried them all my question is has anyone noticed the last 2 years when you check the ebay or other aftermarket places selling these foldables. The z flip seems to always have a smudge, a black dot on the crease, or a bad crease issue from people selling their old version. I dont see that at all from motos phones even last years z flip 5 theres alot that have the same thing from alot of resellers. Same either green smudge or black dot on the screen across the hinge part has anyone else seen this?

Motorola feels like a 500 dollar phone plus a less powerful chip & the cameras aren't as good
