Coming from iPhone 13 mini to Flip 6. Im really enjoying it, and i think throughout the day, i find myself using the outer screen more than opening it. Especially while working, taking a quick glance at text and replying on outer is awesome
It's basically a desktop level PC you can fold and put in your pocket, with a front screen purely for some added convenience. Absolutely glorious, is how I would describe my experience with it.
I'm a foldable guy and I've kinda stayed from the clamshells but... Samsung seems far more invested in the flip than the fold series...I'm close to adding the flip 6 to my collection...it looks like a lot more fun that before.
To each their own. I've always been a fan of phones that I can actually freaking *_pocket._* The Z Flip, and other phones like it have always appealed to me for two reasons: 1) as a teenager who grew up with flip phones, I'm nostalgic for them. 2) every other smartphone is ginormous, and some of them are wannabe tablets... Which is also why I don't care for the $2,000 plus folds

I am not someone who keeps upgrading phones but the reason why I ended up with this phone was because I needed a phone with more storage and I came across with this flip 6" I am really happy with my phone .
I love my Flip 6; it's so much fun. I just hope that in the future, they can make the folding screen a bit more durable. It's very easy to damage at the moment, but that's the only issue. I still love the foldable form factor.
Loved this video! You're right, phones just don't seem to be fun these days and this one breaks the mold. I think a lot of flagships have plateaued in terms of new features. Definitely considering changing my S23 Ultra for the flip, although I might hold off to see if the next gen has more zoom. The outer screen would definitely result in less screen time, which as a toddler dad, is vital!

Hi...i I've had the phone for 4 months. I took great care of it, never dropped it. But the main inside screen started to go black on me 2 weeks ago and the outside screen was the only one working. I took it into the Samsung store and they did a diagnostic on it and told me the screen would have to be replaced which would take 7 days,due to the screens being on backorder. The strange thing was... in the lineup there were 3 other people that had the same issue with the flip 6... this spooked me a bit. I got it replaced and now it's working properly. I will monitor this very careful because I only have the one year warranty.... they told me it would cost $450 cdn outside of the warranty..the crease is noticeable but it doesn't bother me because the flip is so convenient and easy to carry around . The phone started making a noise when opening and closing ... and now after replacing the screen it is working fine.the technician said they have corrected some of the issues on the screens, only time will tell, I hope they really have corrected these issues, because it's a great phone.
@henrysir6764 hopefully since it has been out for a few months they have corrected the issues so when If I do get one I won't have those problems how is the battery on it
@maryhelton9217 the phone is very Compact and easy to carry around.the battery will typically last me 1.5 days. If you purchase stay in touch with your local Samsung store, even if there are small issues,they will run a free diagnostic. The flip 6 already comes with a built-in screen protector and at the Samsung store they suggest you don't get one. Make sure you have an outside phone cover to protect the phone. I have 2 with the kickstand.

The upgrades are definitely worth it, even coming from a flip 5. I dont have battery anxiety anymore, the phone doesnt run that hot, and it has consistent daily performance on top of the other things that already made it magical in the previous model

So far I like it . Different from my P7P. I definitely like the "stock" android of the google pixel better . But its only been 2 days

The ZFlip6 seems cool especially the crafted black one, but $400 more is too much compared to the Razr- 2024 for $699 which is still alot of money. The Razr- 2024 is my first flip phone it’s awesome, and the best phone I have had.
I got a question : what if u use an app that isn’t supported for fold devices, like if u used nova launcher in it, and u closed the phone, and again open, so would it bug? Like glitch or something?
My only gripe with the flip 6 is the screen width, gonna order one and hope it doesnt bother me too much once in use. I also think the flip 7 might be wider now other companies are bringing flips out, and it wont hurt to have a 6 to trade in when that happens

the biggest discount you can get on a samsung phone is always to not buy directly from samsung I got mine for 400€!! less than on their website, the 150€ trade-in (that I wouldn't have gotten because you basically gotta trade up a new phone) wouldn't really have made a dent I'm really having fun with it though, not sure if the novelty will wear off, but whenever I get to use it's folding it feels so cool :D

I see a lot of people getting problems with dust going inside and preventing the phone from closing or sudden black screen for no reason. Is it normal ?
It's a excellent phone. If your looking for a flip phone it's the best. Remember this is new technology. So they can't do everything we would like at once. They have to make things happen but not to where the phone will catch on fire. But outside of that you will have zero issues with this phone. The side button may be a problem for you guys with little fingers. But for us normal people you can reach. And as far as shape edges go, there isn't. And on top of that, you will more than likely buy a phone case. If you want nip pick then I'm sure you can find something. But the phone is great and I love it. The fold is what I wanted but couldn't bring myself to spend $2,000 again. For a phone if the screen messes up they will ask me to pay up to $500 to get it fixed. It's what happened to my Z fold 3. And I bought it straight up. Anyways love the flip 6😊
I hope they stick with 2 cameras but switch out the wide screen (which no one uses) with a telephoto lens and also remove the internal camera since the flip already takes care of that

Went from iphone 12 to flip 6 until now not a single regret,i love this gadget Phone 🎉 feeling like 007 😂 anyway i did place some screen protectors on the back, and have a spare one for the front. So i am all set, i dont want a case cause that makes my phone more heavy,btw its water proof so only clean the dust. I like the voice commands but it is not in my own language yet, but np i can talk english a little bit. Owh and i went with the silver shadow colored one, looks more clean and bussiness look. The blue and green are also nice but cant have 3 😂
Yes it is - but I wouldn't recommend doing what I did with salt water / sand. Probably the worst combination :D But generally speaking, it's rated for water up to 1.5m for 30m - albeit in their 'lab conditions' testing.

flip 5 broke had screen replaced then it broke the other day.... got myself an s24 ultra and not looking back. the financial hit on that flip 5 was really not worth it lmao... my flip 3 was wayy more durable. Not sure how durable the 6 is.

Yeah I’ve always gone for folds too myself, but this year the flip has been a really nice change!

@sjn6953 I only had the flip 4 for 2 weeks. Returned it for the Galazy S21 ultra because battery was horrible but no problems with screen.

Had my flip 4 underwater lots of times. I wash it with soap and water under the tap with warm water, never had an issue

flip 5 broke had screen replaced then it broke the other day.... got myself an s24 ultra and not looking back. the financial hit on that flip 5 was really not worth it lmao... my flip 3 was wayy more durable. Not sure how durable the 6 is.

How often do you use the zoom lens? That’s the main thing missing. No 100x and no telephoto

I essentially never used them unless I was showing other people
this flip 6 has a common problem among all user. after 6 months of using, when you flip it open the screen always freeze.
I only don't get one because there is no Zoom lens
