@@latanyalaw5866 Cricket Wireless and they have the RAZR 2024 for $299. I did purchase the Orange RAZR online and so far I am happy with it. It is nicer to carry in the pocket even though it is a little thicker than a normal phone. It is also pretty cool to be able to quickly check notifications on the front panel without having to open the phone every time.
I've had every release of the Razr+ so far. I love it. The crease is just now becoming noticeable on last year's model (by feel) it's barely visible tho. I hope the screen cover is a bit more sturdy this year as I think sand and dirt on the screen has caused the extra wear at the crease. We vacation in the desert and beach so that's what I'm attributing it to. I've accidentally dropped it a few times and have not had a cover on it and can say it's pretty sturdy no screen breakage, but scratches unfortunately. I bought mine unlocked from Motorola and got 14 update yesterday.
@@JC-zj2is yeah it felt like it was starting to tear for lack of a better word. I could catch it with my nail it wasn't sharp or anything. I was pretty rough on it though and didn't clean the screen when using it in less than ideal conditions. I have the new one and am utilizing the external screen much more with this one the size is better and it seems more app friendly

@@JC-zj2is I think it'd be ok just make sure the crease stays clean. They give constant warnings about the screen protector they have on it. Not to remove it or mess with it. Never one problem with anything else and the screen itself was fine.

Don't put a third party screen protector on this. It comes with one pre-installed and it will void the warranty of the phone. It will tell you in small print when you setup the phone.

I thought you're able to add the Smart connect app to the cover screen whenever you click it it requires you to open the phone to be able to control the display that you're connecting into so unfortunately at this point we're not able to fully use that feature with the device closed
On the 2024 when the outer screen is in sleep mode with the AOD do notifications still wake the screen and you can read the notiification before it goes back to sleep mode? I no longer can read notifications from on outer display after the android 14 update on my 2023 razr, the AOD is nice but not being able to glance and read new notifications when recieved is disappointing, now wakes and get sound notification but no banner message to read, have gone back to my iphone for now

Galaxy Z Flip series STILL doesn't support Dex but has a USB 3.2 port. Meanwhile, the foldable Razr phones support Smart Connect (formerly known as Ready For) but only have USB 2.0 ports. I'm sick and tired of these compromises on flagship phones. 😑

That RAZR has been truly disappointing - Since January FW update, have to open the phone to use Google Assistant properly, and Moto is not even committing to fix this critical user-function, despite still advertising that Assistant can be used with the phone closed. It is a serious defect for a phone that promotes usability when closed. The Lenovo/Moto/RAZR support/discussion board shows how little Moto is taking any responsibility of a broken feature Moto specifically promotes. Moto RAZR... outrageous you have to open the phone to use Google Assistant, awkward, not as advertised, more wear on the hinge and screen fold... since Jan '24 - still that way in July - that 25% of a phone's typical use life a critical SW function is broken. Great idea, but someone dropped the ball on this critical function.
I want the plus but man it's irritating it doesn't have ultra wide. Just feels like they took a camera option away from us. The other lense doesn't seem anywhere near half as useful for pictures I typically take.
I was severely unimpressed by the poor camera quality in the samples until I realized I was watching in 360p😂

No. Good lock is a Samsung only app only available in the Samsung store, not the play store.

I just got the 2024 plus. Yeah, no ultrawide sucks. One hack is to use the panoramic mode to simulate ultrawide. It works really well.
