  • I am travelling around Italy riding in some of the best mountain bike destinations. On my bucket list is to ride down the famous World cup tract, the Black snake at Val di Sole.
    Today I have gone for the full DH rig a Trek Session.

    Certainly puts into perspective how difficult the track is and how skillful the World Cup riders are . Good on you for putting yourself through it

    Shows how hard it is, ive been watching BK’s LSD’s for years, he makes it look easy.
    Good job giving it a crack mate, big respect.

      I can ride just like BK. But deliberately ride slow so you can see each rock and root one by one.

    Nice road gap at the start, gets you in the right mood for what’s coming. I remember crash sites too, all of them… Stay safe! 👍

      I am still annoyed at not doing the road gap. I went back, and 6 young Italian riders were looking at it. I was going to get a tow in, but they all chickened out. Still gutted.

    Hey Lance, I'd love to know your itinerary? I'm planning a trip next year, to Morzine, Canazei and Zermatt. How many days do you recommend? I'll be going with my no riding wife :)

    • @bestdayevermtb2
      @bestdayevermtb2  Месяц назад

      We spent a week in Morzine and generally 5 days in the other locations. We did not do a rapid trip and could have ridden much more. 5 nights gives you 1 day for travel, 2 days for me to ride, 1 day for me and Jacqueline to hire bikes and go for a ride and 1 day to chill or do something different. This seems to work for us. We actually haven't travelled very far. I think we had 5 night Verona, 3 nights Faller (No mtb on first 2 stops) then 5 nights Paganella, 5 nights Canazai, 5 nights Val di Sole (Mezzana), 5 nights lake Como then 5 nights Aosta then 7 Morzine. My highlights would be Canazai and Paganella. Hope that helps.
