Felt compelled to say, I feel so sorry for those who are divorced/divorcing under crazy circumstances. I wish you strength and the ability to endure and ultimately get better. My divorce was not as crazy as some of the scenarios Rachael describes, but it was and sometimes still is very hard. With kids involved, it is no joke. So I can imagine the pain and anger some of these men must have felt and I feel for them. And to Rachael... Thanks for what you're doing. It is very important work. You are appreciated.

Love that you called it a mindf**k. Sometimes, that’s the best clinical description.

I'm roommates with my ex-wife. It's been tough to watch her get dolled-up for dates. Now I realize my case qualifies as a "crazy situation".

I've had the opportunity to work with several hundred separated and divorced men, and I will say that this situation, living with your ex wife and having to see her go out on dates, is one of the most difficult I see my clients facing. That said, healing is still possible, even in these 'crazy' circumstances. I've seen some pretty dramatic shifts for these men, but it does take commitment to daily emotional and nervous system support exercises to get there.
