Done that both ways on a 1993 Chevy 1500 single cab short bed I used to have. Both ways were difficult. Good job. 👍

Entertaining. Hope it’s like my 93 but I’m going to drop the drive shaft for some extra clearance I can see that.

Yeah dropping the drive shaft will definitely give more room to work! Thanks!✌️

Thanks for posting this. Best one I've seen yet on this. I have to replace the fuel pump on my 88. Did you use a factory replacement or did you put a higher volume fuel pump?

I just did this. 100% worth it. I got a vortec engine with a mild roller cam and a bored tbi from SPR Performance going into my 1993. Good for around 320hp

Great job & very detailed, ty. Was the truck stalling out on you or loss of power?
I have the identical color 94 GMC Sierra SLE Short Bed just like yours and it's been stalling out on me and does not feel as powerful as before so I am thinking the fuel pump may be going out or the fuel filter needs to be replaced.
    ty ED for the content

It was hesitating on me, but the fuel pump ended up not being the problem it was the distributor cap and button. Thanks man!
