Thanks so much for the great feedback on Mido. I am looking to purchase my first Ocean Star but not sure which model. You have opened my eyes to some of the different Ocean Star models. Thanks for the detailed reviews!!!
Hey there! Thank you for the kind words. Mido creates fantastic watches, and the Ocean Star collection offers excellent options at various price ranges. Do you have a favorite model in mind? Thank you so much for your comment. By the way Comments like this make me feel excellent about the work I am doing on this channel 🍔🍺
@@LosNTime thanks!!! I am leaning towards Ocean Star 200C with the wavy textured dial. I’m wanting sort of a dress diver that is not too thick but can still handle the water etc.
That's an awesome one! Plus, there are some excellent deals on the gray market if you want to save a good chunk of cash 😆 Also, I'm not sure if they are out yet, but they have some 38mm divers coming out that should be super classy One last thing: don't shy away from the more vintage-inspired ocean starts The new 40mm GMT shark tooth is amazing 😅 That was the last watch I reviewed. If you want to check it out
Relojazo! I’ve got a cousin that owns three taquerias (buche) and this is the watch he is thinking about buying when he opens his fourth! … btw excellent review as always !
I have two mido's now in my collection. A Commander big date and a Multifort Escape. Love them to bits. Will hopefully add a third one this year. A multifort TV big date. Mido is very high quality for the price.
My Mido info channel😁really like the Ocean Star 600 DLC black special, looks really fantastic and value for money with all it's extra goodies.... Just need to go to the shop to see the 50mm lug to lug fits my 6 3/4"wrist...
Dood, the 600 is excellent, but yeah, it's a hefty boy My wrist is 7 inches, so you may be able to pull it off!! Let me know if you do end up getting it 🍔🍺
@@psth3932 I don't know much about the brand. cool looking watch tho Similar to the Mido Ocean Star 600 I'm curious about their t10 movement. Is it satellite-based? I would love to review it if they let me borrow one 🍔🍺 If you end up getting it, I would love to hear your impressions
I have a basic Ocean Star, and I don't wear it all the time but the fact you have to depress the bezel to rotate it, and micro adjusting bracelet I find makes it superior to any Omega or Rolex I own, and the dial colored date window and lack of hideous cyclops blows rolex out of the water
It sounds like you have the ocean start 600 chronometer I reviewed the black DLC version Honestly, that watch is so good it's tough to justify anything else in terms of diver value for money 😆 It's an epic watch! ruclips.net/video/hprk_i5A22A/видео.htmlsi=n2lqQXjXQ7l0WfYC
I have a GMT ocean star GMT, had to sent to repair twice, first time with the crown which didn’t stay in, second time with the misaligned hour hand, everything under warranty though. At night the lum is very bad, take a while to read time. However the finish and polish are good considering the price, also for daily use, fairly accurate.
Man, I'm sorry your Ocean Star gmt has given you a hard time, I've had my ocean start gmt (black dial orange gmt hand) for 3 years and it been perfect I also find that the gmt hand is hard to read specially under low lite as the only 24 hour markings are only on the chapter ring and they are tiny 😆 I guess that's the downside of having a time bazel vs a gmt bazel 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for your comment I'm happy to know you were able to get your watch corrected under warranty By the way if you want a lume monster check out the ocean stat 600 cosc that watch is BANANAS 🍔🍺
I’ve owned a lot of Swiss made ChronoTiempo divers. Yeah this ChronoTiempo diver is great at no charge but not for $2500. It just doesn’t support $2500.
What would you recommend instead? Valjoux diver and polished titanium with a crew down pushers? I've seen this one online as low as $1600 👀 Thank you for the comment I look forward to your suggestion 🍺🍔
By the way, Do you think Mido will make a TV model with a normal sized date window instead of a large sized date window? I think the date size should be normal sized and positioned at three o'clock. If they do that, I will definitely buy the TV model. The huge date window at 12 o'clock is very ugly
Wouldn't touch a Mido once again , after a month from new the chronograph button got stuck, replaced under warranty, parked the watch as it's gold plated on the dressy side, took it out of the box and the moment I started winding and pulled the crown to adjust the time the crown came off , I have many watches from major luxury brands from AP to Rolex, Omega and the list goes on so I can claim I know how to handle a watch.
Man, I'm sorry that was your experience; I can understand why you wouldn't touch them again This is my third one, and all of mine have been phenomenal I'll post an update if mine turns into a lemon tho Thank you for sharing your story Cheers 🍺🍔

I cannot confirm or deny any rumors regarding such variation of the multifort TV 😆
All I can say is very possibly maybe 😆
