@ It is opposite color and the metal frame takes away from the waffle dial.

@@devilchild8811 I know; most brands don't really give little channels like mine free stuff or pay us (I just don't have numbers like that) Mido gave me a watch once; those guys are different tho... very supportive :D The US team is tiny, so they can move d ifferent (in a good way for small enthusiast channels) But you know I like making art with these watches, so I'm just happy the companies are willing to let me borrow stuff... But yeah, the return process can feel like an existential crisis at times :D

Hey, great question! It Absolutely DOES NOT have plastic escapement 💪🏼 This is a high-end Valjoux movement (being a chronograph). The plastic escapement is only a thing on the three-hand prx powermatic The Valjoux is not a powermatic 80, It has a NIVACHRON hair spring 70 hours of power reserve and beats at 4hz (not 3) Let me know if you have any more questions 🍔🍺

Yes, I usually recommend the gentleman over the base PRX because of the higher grade powermatic; the plastic parts on the base PRX have always been a bit of a black eye on that watch and would make it an unlikely recommendation for me But these chronographs are a totally different beast; these are awesome This one is on Joma for USD 1400, too So the prices are getting better, too

I actually didn’t buy the brown-dialed King Seiko because I read that its movement contains plastic components . . . yet either way I now regret not buying it when I had the chance 😔

@@LosNTime have you ever looked at MAEN the micro brand? I’ve just had their Manhattan 39mm ultra thin delivered in green as well. Far more basic watch but it’s so nice.

I have heard of the brand but have not handled any of their watches They are a micro brand, right? I'm hoping to hit more watch shows in 2025 and hopefully partner up with more brands I would love to work with MEAN if possible 🍔🍺

You know I have not purchased any watches since I got this one So I do feel like the thirst has been quenched 😆 I love it 😜 But it does help that, as a reviewer, I get to borrow watches regularly But I haven’t seen anything that gives me “the fever” since I got this watch 😂 There are a few watches I would love to own still, but they are so expensive that, more than likely, I will never get to own them 😂 I just don’t have it like that, being married with three kids and two dogs 😂

I have a vintage Zenith that runs so nicely and have always loved their looks and "value" over other brands

Man, this is a tricky question The dial pops People will notice It never gets in the way of being practical, but it is flashy I love it, but it's hard to advise you as to how much is to much Only you know how loud is too loud for your taste Sorry, this is probably not very useful But its the best I can do at the moment

Looking at it on your wrist again, yes perhaps your right ..doesn't look silly or anything on you, but would prob work for say 6.5 inch wrists too. I have a preference for small watches, eg don't like dive watches at all..too big / chunky. Thanks for bringing this company to my attention.
