It's recommended to save at least 15% of your income in a 401k. You can use online calculators to estimate how much you should save based on your age and income. Saving at least 15% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. By saving this much, you can take advantage of compound interest and potentially grow your retirement savings over time.
If you’re new to investing or have a more complex financial situation, It can be helpful to work with a financial advisor who can provide personalized guidance and help you make informed investment decisions.
On the contrary, even if you’re not skilled, it is still possible to hire one. I am a project manager and my personal port-folio of approximately $750k took a big hit in April due to the crash. I quickly got in touch with a financial-planner that devised a defensive strategy to protect and profit from my port-folio this red season. I’ve made over $150k since then
Due to the market falls, I need advice on how to rebuild my portfolio and develop more successful tactics. Where can I find this teacher?
Sharon Lee Peoples is the licensed advisor I use. Just search the name. You’d find necessary details to work with to set up an appointment.
I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an email shortly.
Learnt a lot about term insurance and then came to ppf vs nps. You truly deserve 10 million subscribers and am one among them. Thanks alot. God bless you
Watching this in 2023 and realizing How Beautifully the difference is shown and helping beginners understand it easily! Kudos to LLA Team for sharing such knowledge!!!!
बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद सर जी...आपके इस बेशकीमती, बहुउपयोगी, ज्ञानवर्धक विडियो के लिये...🙋🙏🙏🙏
Sir, kind request to calculate tax deduction part for the NPS annuity and compare theTowards the end of calculation. Please add that in video or make new one for better understanding of Returns.
Very nicely explained about PPF vs NPS. I was looking for info on NPS, now got understanding of it. Thanks for this excellent session.
Nicely explained PPF vs. NPS. Understood very well. Thank you, sir.
Boss I saw your dedication how you convince to people with your example it reflects your dedication n passion about your work..
मनदीप पाजी तुसी ग्रेट हो, आपका जो बात करने का और समझाने का स्टाइल है वो बहुत ही सुन्दर और धांसू है, Keep it up 💪 पाजी
Thanks paaji
Both are good. Open PPF to save tax under 80C. Open NPS to get Tax benefit under 80 CCD where you can contribute upto 50K + 10% contribution of basic salary by employer.
Akdom theek.... Amio tai korechi
Since there are many options to fill up 1.5lakj quota in 80C , I think it's better to go for nps...
You should not base your retirement planning on tax saving aspect.
Is it possible to open both ppf and nps and is that wise ?
@@doctron14
Yes
Thanks for the video. Very informative. Just a suggestion as calculation of NPS should have be extensive considering the tax on return and fund managing expense etc.
Guy's your LoGo is amazingly catchy & beautiful & just Kuddos to the designer and planner of the LoGo. It creates some serious faith to the channel, on the very first sight.
Exactly
Nps salary se katne ke baat kitne time me nps account me dikhta hai
Aur govt kitna dete hai apne taraf se
My compliments! Your video is informative. One problem- in an upbeat economy, interest rate in PPF will decline over a period of time.
Excellent content in easy language!
Thank you so much!
Thank you. You covered minute level points that noone else civered. Big like
Congratulations, you have earned 1 new subscriber 🤘
At 25 I was an ignorant fool 😂 🤣 especially concerning financial markets/investments/savings and all. You are great bro. Subscribed to your channel long back 🙂
Are wo sab thik h but ye btao NPS me paisa daala ki nhi
Good info. Nps and ppf videos dekhi hai bahut but tumhari video mein kuch point bahut important the. Thanks
Bro Maza aa gaya, not just gyaan but kaafi entertaining content !!
Great comparison. Amazing efforts!
Along with information on such complex and overwhelming topics u have a wonderful persona of being hilarious n making it sound so simple....even an amateur can understand it....

Content + Humour is so good in this video 👍
Hehe thanks man
Superb ! What an informative video. You are so much knowledgeable.
loved the simplistic way to explanation with comparison...
Like the way of your clear cut answer NPS... no BS !
Awesome content. Full scale comparison between NPS and PPF. This should be the bible of every tax payer within India. Thanks for the beautiful analysis.
Not because of your appearance you look aged, but because of the maturity you show up in explaining complex things to layman public..
Amazing video. Cleared all my doubts. TYSM
Apart from your quality and educative vedio , you have a good sense of humour too.
Sahi baat
Vedio nahi vidio hota hai sahuji
Ok both incorrect. Correct spelling is VIDEO. 🙂 Important is information shared in this video is highly appreciated.
My nps portfolio returns is 11.75 even after market fall as I had switched from auto to active and selected 100 in government bonds.prefer lic in tier 1.
Online ya offline kahape benefit jyada hai??
tier 1 me kaise change kar sakte he
60% mein se 20% taxable on nps
Thank you, Happy to know that my decision to go with NPS was good
Great work bro, very nicely explained and concluded! I rarely comment. But ur this video, made me do it.. 👍🏻
Hlo how r u
Initial comparative explanation was clear, but final calculations on returns were assumed,
Every investment has it's pros and cons
PPF is very good Option for various reasons
Nps, I can see
1 entry level extra tax saving
2 as locking period is longer, so can get moderate returns ( no guarantee of 10% 🤔)
Sahi parke hai. Agar upka 60age may govt finnalcial growth kam hota hay matlab market low hota hay to upka paysa sayad se gaya
@@amlansain3610 Debt ka component bhi hai usme. So it's not gonna crash
10℅ interest rate on NPS all you are claiming is unrealistic not excepted from LLA
10 year return on C and G component in NPS is 8 percent.
10 year return on E (equity) is 12-13 percent.
So average returns will be 8-12 percent based on the percentage in Equity (Max-75 percent equity)
Brilliantly made and very clear for People, keep the good work
आपका समझाने का तरीका बहुत ही शानदार है

I was struggling with this topic since quite sometime..
Thanks to you .
It's so clear now.
As usual awesome video.
Ppf is better... Nps has many catches... Don't fall for it
@@at6848 Please clarify one point, In private sector we already have (EPF + EPS) contribution, If we still invest in NPS then how all these will mange after 60 year in pension because we already contributing in EPS for pension.
well informative content, thnks..
Very well explained !! I like all your videos.
I was struggling with this topic since quite sometime..but It's very clear now.
Thanks you so much.
Keep creating awesome video.
Please clarify one point, In private sector we already have (EPF + EPS) contribution, If we still invest in NPS then how all these will mange after 60 year in pension because we already contributing in EPS for pension.
no matter how much you invest in NPS, never ever forget to invest full 1.5 Lacs in ppf....the only government scheme that's actually good, apart from sukanya samridhi yojana....I would suggest to contribute in NPS, only to save your taxes, to invest in equity, invest separately.
Yo !
The tax benefit is limited to 1.5 lakhs as of now, PPF, PF, Insurance, NPS etc. included. Only NPS gives another 50000 tax benefit. Yes, for better returns, investment or trading or a combination in equities, mutual funds etc. is desirable.
U mean we should invest 1.5 lakh in PPF
It's masterly comapred ....
Awesome video. Your presentation is very good.
Yrr aap itne gyani ho. Kindly govt ko v btao ki wo log whi kre jo public ke liye best h. Aap pls govt ko advice do. Without govt confirmation kuch v possible ni h. Isse direct benefit milega svi citizens ko. Aap apne vdos se 5-10 cr logo tk phucha skte ho. Baki k population ki socho. Not only for this vdo. All your vdos. Because I appreciate your work. No hates.
There is a convience fee plus gst charge for each installment of nps. Approximately 25 rs per sip. So if you are doing a 5k sip for 12 months in nps, you need to consider the extra cost 25*12 = 300 rs per annum. Lets say you are doing this for 30 yrs then around 9-10k rs are gone as charges.
You can calculate it according to number of sips.
This charge is never discussed nor disclosed by anyone. You get to know when you start nps.
Excellent Video!! Not only informative but your punchlines are awesome ! :D But I have one question.. agreed that historically the returns have been 8 to 10% for NPS schemes since inception, but I noticed that they were started either in 2009 or in 2013, both at the time when economy was low.. do you think there could be possibility of it averaging down to 5% to 6% over the years provided the investment is started now when market is still absurdly high (Jun 2021) ?
No, because considering age 25, you will contribute till age 60, i.e from current calendar year 2023 to 2058. Since India is a major growing economy, by 2058 our GDP will be around $30+ trillion dollars. Our market will only grow from here. Hence, I feel we should expect returns of even 10 to 12%. But one major point of concern is the inflation rate. Who knows how much the inflation will be by 2058 !!
@LabourLawAdvisor, the link for NPS detail video in description is showing that The Video is not available. Kindly update the link for viewers.
Thanks for great work and sharing insights of financial world!
I was bit confused on this topic but now clear thanks
Beautifully explained. Can you give calculator link of PPF and NPS
Awesome bro, Please clarify one more point, In private sector we already have (EPF + EPS) contribution, If we still invest in NPS then how all these will mange after 60 year in pension because we already contributing in EPS for pension
Love you sir itne achhei sei smjhanei kei liye 😘❤️
Very informative and clear .. good work 👍👍
@labourlawadviser my experience in nps is not so good in case of equity exposure. So 10% is not achieved in nps. It is around 8 to 8.5%. Even when i have switched the fund manager still equity part is not handled well. So it is better to choose govt n corporate bond 75%
10 year average returns in Equity in NPS is 12-13 percent.Lower returns might be possible in initial few years but once you cross 7-10 years, that's when one reaps benefits of an equity instrument like stocks or mutual funds or NPS
Hi, what about the inflation? You should also include this factor while showing the returns. That 1 cr will have the value of today's 10 lakhs only.
Awesome in depth video as always
I really like your humour. Thanks for the information 👍🏻
Hi, pls do comparison between Atal pension yojna vs NPS..
I have both PPF and NPS...combined for 80c and 80cc1b benefits
Thank you so much for the valuable information..
Bhai itne badi tense topic mein aapka wo punch line.. mein 25 saal ka hun. Dadhi badha li he ,par Sach mein 25 saal ka hun. Ye really helpful tha.. wo dimag free kar dia....Haha.
Bhai PLI par ek video chahiye... Perfect knowledge ke liye
Dear Mandeep, Pl make a video on ideal division of investment amount if one wants to invest in all of them like how 1.5 lakh should be divided between NPS, ELSS, PPF, LIC, medical health insurance etc.
Well it should depend on your tax deduction from 80C and you retirement corpus needs....... For example if your 80C bracket is full then you opt for NPS for 80CCD and so on so forth
You gave me valuable information in less time and I gave you a like which you have asked for
Superb Explanation...Thank You
sirji Best comparison with NPS, PPF. I am 57 age Govt servant can open both PPF & NPS directly from Bank without govt.
Hello ... Good day!! Your explanation of subject is too good... i beleive everybody can understand easily with the facts you presented ... but one thing is missing in whole episode... if the NPS account holder may death before to attain the 60 age then what would be options are available for nominee.. request to you please explain the same as well....
Very nice information, keep it up!👍
Very well explained, good job, thanks
Thanks for this very thorough and knowledgeable video. Can you please make one video with comparison between PPF and VPF (Voluntary Provident Fund )? I think the interest rate is higher in VPF; but not sure it will be a good option.
I'm too interested to know
VPF is additional amount that you invest over and above EPF. However the employer contribution doesn't change. Benefit: VPF investment done by emploee earns same interest rate as EPF ( which is quite high as compared to fixed deposit or ppf).
In comparison nps return is variable(even a year return can go in -ve), while ppf is fixed.min@7.1%
You can choose age based management or gsec
@@ratneshtripathi8461 Le liya tau
In NPS return can go up to 20% also not only zero % evrytime.
Bhai it's average yr return for a period of years since it started till date...
True 👍
You say that you have linked the previous video in the description below, but there is never the link for the video.. Please check that..
Your videos are very informative and We gain a lot of knowledge.. Thank you..
You have always explained very well thanks dear
Excellent Video.. Just for Private sector employees falling in 30℅ tax Bracket
We can take advantage of 50k tax benefit and invest only that amount in NPS rest all better invest in index fund which normally gives 11℅ return in longterm.
Atleast during retirement You have full amount with you to do whatever u want. In case of NPS if u retire at 60 only then u get 60℅ and 40℅ goes in annuity plan. If u retire before it then 80℅ goes in annuity which is really a big catch and amount is locked. Let me know your thoughts on it
How much to put in NPS then
Very good job , keep sharing such ideas
Sir, agree your index funds will give 11 % returns, then you will make a corpus of xyz crore.
But what you will do to generate monthly / annual income from that corpus.. Plz suggest
@@beemavala7535 If you have built huge corpus there are multiple ways to invest it and get regular income.
Some good dividend Yielding stocks, some commercial Property, Good debt or Senior secured bonds can give you stable income. With huge corpus you will get multiple avenues to invest.
@@vishnumahale116 what is your view about annuity plans which offer approx 6.4 % after 2 year of deposit. And this pension is guaranteed for life time and after pension corpus is returned to Nominee
I watched it repeatedly 12:52 fir bhi man nhi bhara😂🤣
Thanks for comparison video. Can you make video on Digital Gold vs Gold Bonds and also there is no regulatory body in digital gold investment also there some limitations of years of investment , delivery/making charges ... So which should any beginners choose as we have only few amount of money to invest in gold .. Please 🙏
Good that you have kept closed captions ine English..
बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद और आभार आपका 🙏🙏
Can you also tell after including inflation for next 35 years what will be value of PPF/NPS maturity amount in todays value.
Jb tk apna Adhaar Card nhi dikhaoge, hm nhi maanenge ki aap 25 saal ke ho 😅
Very Useful Video.Thank You 🙏
I am one of the biggest fan of Your channel and team
You were doing a fabulous job by educating people regarding money.
keep doing that.
I just watch your term insurance related videos before commenting on this.
Love and lot of respect to your team for doing this selfless job.❤️❤️🙏🙏
Kai ka knowledge, sab ko apni zaroda ka link bhejta he, aur bolta he , wo mat kr ye Mt kr bus zaroda k link bheja he , sirf mere link se zaroda account khol aur muje commissions mile, bhai uska bhi to pet he , uska bhi to kharcha challah chaiye
omg...you look so mature and wise as compared to a 25 yr old....kudos
30 saal hoga ye
We should also take inflation into account while calculating the NPS or PPF maturity amount....The value that 1 crore has today might not be same after 30-35 years. I think the NPS and PPF calculators should also take inflation into their calculation....But yes, I agree NPS is much better than PPF...
That is why we should invest because todays 1 crore will be nothing then. We just have to check the maximum returns after the tax deduction. Thats the best we can do.
Yes bro that's why I invest only in prop. Only because I will get return according to market price not on hypothesis.
Correct, that's why we must increase our monthly contributions gradually every 2 to 3 years as well, considering our salaries will also increase yearly due to promotions and ever increasing inflation rates.
Manjeet bhai ....jabardast information.....
Bhai ji Dil se thanks 🙏 keep it up 🤠
Start watching from 02:30….✌🏼
Bhai mein Biswas nhi karta ki u are 25 yrs old ,, u are just 18 yrs old 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Many many thanks to you for nice explanation.
It's a nice way to explain....Great
Really liked your approach of clarifying the hard topics of economy so easily... Thanks a lot... One request, kindly put some light on interest rate vs inflation rate kind of issues... Would be of real help 🙏🙏
Thanks for this amazing video. But if you could talk about the 'worst case scenario' returns in case of NPS for all its flavours, then I think that would help many viewers. Thanks again for such a nice video
Very nice video, I gave so many likes in this video
Awesome job man! What about Postal Life Insurance? Could you please make a video on that?
the interest on ppf is calculated quarterly while at the end of of video where you show calculation of maturity amount for ppf you have taken annually.
No. Interest on PPF is calculated based on the monthly balance at the end of the year. The interest rate is announced by the government quarterly.
@@SVSwamy I dont think so , it is calculated monthly which revised quarterly by govt. It is deposited into your account annually at end of FY year but it is not calculated annually i.e only once a year.
@@3devansh - Yes, sorry for the slight mistake. It is calculated each month but is credited at the end of the financial year. The interest rate is announced every quarter. For the last few quarters, it is unchanged at 7.1 percent.
Good video bhai, to summarise NPS is better option for people who lack discipline,50000 extra tax benefit is also a plus point. When u said 60% of NPS maturity amount is equal to 100% PPF amount it is enough to decide NPS is better. What percentage fund allocation do you recommend in Equity, govt bonds, corporate bonds to get minimum of 10% returns?
Congratulations , you have add 1 more subscriber.
