Given the persisting global economic crisis, it's essential for individuals to focus on diversifying their income streams independent of governmental reliance. This involves exploring options such as stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the adversity in the economy, now is an opportune moment to contemplate these investment avenues.

My question is related to 40% conversion in to Annuity. Monthly receipt of Annuity is taxed @ tax slab of the assessee. Now if instead of investing in NPS if investment is done in Mutual fund and withdrawal is done through Systemic Withdrawl Plan on monthly basis then what would be the tax implication. I guess we will get the benefit of Indexation and income will be treated as Capital Gain with lower tax outflow. From that perspective also Mutual Fund is a better option. I understand 60% of corpus is tax free at the time of withdrawl and only 40% is taxable. But comparing capital gain vs regular tax slab which one is the better option from overall perspective - MF or NPS. Plz pick my question

Hi Mukul and Team, thank you for making such a great video, it really helps to understand NPS better. However I have several questions regarding the extension of NPS from age 60 to 75. 1. Do I need to provide the extension age upfront. For e.g. when I reach age 60, I know that I want to extend the NPS for another 5 years, so i extend it to age 65. Then when I reach age 65 can I again extend it one more time. How many such times can I extend. 2. Once I extend the NPS at age 60 to say till age 70, will all the amount from the beginning continue to earn interest and accrue till age 70 or I will have to withdraw the portion till age 60 (with annuity pension) and the additional money I contribute from age 60 gets continued till age 70. Or is it that the lump sum can continue from the beginning but the annuity portion has to be taken at age 60? This is a very important question for me. 3. When should I let NPS know that I want to extend beyond age 60. Is it when I am 59 years old or earlier ? Kindly answer these questions. Thank you again for your time and effort.

Sir, NPS Tier 2 has no any tax benefits but kindly clarify the tax mechanism that applies in Tier 2, as I am investing in Tier 2 account with 100% equity, what will be the tax effect..
Sir, I have a question. At the time of maturity, 40% goes to Annuity buying. Now, let's say, we plan to opt for SWP for the rest of the lumpsum amount also, for example like 6% of the amount annually, so will that lumpsum keep growing as per market just like any mutual fund? I mean to say that the lump sum amount won't remain same right? It should keep increasing and decreasing as per the market?

Sir ppf is better than nps for interest mutual funds are there ? For retirement
Nps ka average return kya hai 9% fixed milega 9 to 11% for conservative plan
Ppf never be better than NPS.
You can chek history of both investment tools
@@kaustubh3084 ppf return is 7.21
Nps default scheme return 9 to 9.5
Nps lc 25 return 10.5 to 11
Nps lc 50 return 11.5 to 12.5.
Consistent since 5years.
But it badluck more than 70%employee still in default option.
Wake up and make handsome corpus with good PFM
nps tier 2 may accha return milega or utena paisa Mutual fund may invest Kare to aacha benefit milega....aur aap kya suggest karoge sir.. For retirement planning...
Isse aur complicated bnana cahiye takki dimak ki dahi ho jae

Hello good explanation. Question - I understand under the new tax regime I do not get the 80C deduction but can I still invest in NPS upto 1.5 lacs so the interest earned is at least tax free at withdrawal? Same question with other deductions like 80CCD upto Rs 50K? Thanks.
mutual funds ke retirement plans bhi iske sath compare karte to acha hota..unka lock in sirf 3 ya 5 saal ka hota he
Very well explained Mukul ji. I am 38 years old and did not opt for it for more liquidity of funds to invest in MFs than NPS. Now I would like to know is there any calculator to check investment if I only opt for Employers contributions as per new tax regime. ? Thanks in advance 👍🏼
Bro,
You forgot to mention about the recent changes like *SWP* (from 60years to 75years). SWP makes NPS very attractive.
Kindly do include this on your next video on NPS.
Please make the video on comparative study on ops/nps/ups considering different factor like service year, contribution etc...
सबसे आसान सवाल.....
NPS इतनी अच्छी स्कीम है तो सांसद, विधायक और आर्मी,नेव्ही, एयरफोर्स सभी को NPS लागू करदो।
One Nation one Pension.. अपने आप सबकी गलत फहमी दुर हो जाएगी।

Hello Mukul Sir, Thank you so much for your consistent effort to make this clear video on NPS. 🙂
However, I've a doubt on Tax part: 80 CCD (1B), 80 CCD (2) - Do you mean both can be declared at same time ? If so, could you plz enlighten a little bit more...
same doubt.
Good information about NPS, i would say all things covered in this video.
I have one question regarding tax benefits,
For example, If i added 50,000 in my NPS account then i know i can show this 50,000 in my tax declaration but can i withdraw whenever i require it after 3 years Lock-in period ?
It will be helpful for me if anyone can answer this question.
Thank you sir for giving the details of NPS

NPS has recently allowed the government employees to change their existing Fund Manager and fund House
Kindly guide me for choosing the best Fund House and Fund Manager.
For buy an annuity, we have to pay 1.8% GST, which also a big drawback
hi Mukul ji, You explained the scheme very well in short. Just one query, actually my other investments already met the 1.5 lack cap. So, if I invest just 50,000 in NPS, whether shall I get any benefits under sec 80CCD(1B)
Thank you for the informative video. Can you please explain how one should proceed if he had a NPS tier 1 account for 10 yrs but now settled overseas and no plans to return back.
Can he withdraw the money? If yes then how much and what’s the process?
Thank you kindly
Sir ek question hai ki jo log SIP karte hai kisi bhi platform ke through aur jis mutual fund me karte hai agar in dono koi default kar jaaye ya kisi wajh se koi problem ho jaaye to kya humara paisa safe hai ??

Complete guide. Taxation on systematic lumpsum withdrawal is not explained. I was expected this.
There is no tax on systematic lump sum withdrawal
Please clarify if there are better options available than NPS as many discourage us from investing in NPS tier 1 due to low returns. Please advice.

What about the tire2 of NPS investment, and it's withdrawal policy? Can I withdraw the total amount and what about the tax liabilities for tire 2 maturity amount.
your way of explaining is too amezing
Very good and informative video, kudos team.
If market dependent pension is only option then govt should provide it to every citizen by allowing them to invest for long time and make it tax free upto annual income tax exemption limit.
Atleast people will have their choice to select schemes and proportion of investment.
Hi please cover taxation of tier 2 a/c. Especially the treatment of 2 cases. Short term and long term CG in withdrawal and also tax liability in case of PFM changes in middle of year meaning change of % allocation.. we usually do not get any CG statement from NPS site as we get from CAMS or MF .Thanks
Can you please explain options for government employees? As we are bound to invest in only 3 pension funds ,SBI,LIC and UTI for active option also, which invest in govt. bonds mostly, can you make a video in detail and explain what will be best option for central government employees?

Switch to LC50 plan... Last year I received 25% XIRR.. It is the best way to increase the exposure in equity for CG employees
Exactly this is what i mean and couldnot find any such rules@@shubhamjain.7
Plz also talk about fund growth. In pf every year interest amount adds to principal likewise how it happens in NPS. For example if my NPS value is 5lac at present then it will not come down rather it will increase. Plz cover this point
Sir, NPS Tier 2 has no any tax benefits but kindly clarify the tax mechanism that applies in Tier 2, as I am investing in Tier 2 account with 100% equity, what will be the tax effect..
Kiya me individually NPS account khol sakta hu? Bina employer share ke bina kese NPS se faida hoga?

फिनटेक nps खाते से पैसा निकालने और खाता बंद करने की प्रक्रिया पर विडियो बनाये
Sir, I have a question. At the time of maturity, 40% goes to Annuity buying. Now, let's say, we plan to opt for SWP for the rest of the lumpsum amount also, for example like 6% of the amount annually, so will that lumpsum keep growing as per market just like any mutual fund? I mean to say that the lump sum amount won't remain same right? It should keep increasing and decreasing as per the market?
Ye possible hai kya
Is month 1000 kare fir next month kuch aur amount? Changes kr skte hai kya

Sir aapne bataya 60% to withdrawal ho jata hai...BT 40% baki bache hamarai family ya children ko mil sakte hain...agr Haan to isme konsa plan select karna hai
Thanks sir. It was informative.
I have a doubt.
Every website is saying "You can save tax upto Rs. 46,800 per year by investing in ELSS funds if you invest Rs 1,50,000"
But I'm not understanding.
Can you please make a video with some practical calculations.
Please update the premature exit rules, what if a corporate employee resigns before 5 year completion of NPS.
You have mentioned there are fund managers. What happens if some manager (e.g HDFC) has shut down due to market OR bankrupt in between due to some reason ? From where we can collect money then ?
