Ager ham bession karte hai or nps jama karte hai to kya jitna ham jama karenge utna hi sarkar jama karegi
Pls compare the advantages and disadvantages of investment in nps tier 2 comparing it with mutual funds..
Hi Sir,
Just need a suggestion.
My parents are 57 now, so shall I ask them to invest some amount in nps or not.
As only 3 yrs are remaining in nps entry.
Request you to please let me know
Sir in the premature exit, do we do need to wait for 60 years for pension or we get pension start with premature exit year onwards
Hi mandeep... I have 2 questions .. 1. Being a individual contributor of nps scheme.. can I invest more then 50k per year ?and is also exempt from tax ? 2. Can u tell me exit procedure of nps for individual contributor?will we have to go to POP physically to submit withdrawl form?
You guys should be given PadmaShri for educating India :) Your work is no less. I discovered your channel lately and I am watching all of your videos. God, I've missed so much.. I have learnt more from your videos than from my prof career of 7 yrs
Hats off to you guys!!!! Lots of respect and keep up the excellent and extra ordinary work. Thank you sooo much!
Sir.. Assume i start NPS tier-1 account today and do premature exit after 5 years. Assume my corpus is 1.5lakh (less than 2.5lakh limit) after 5 years. Now, i choose full amount withdrawal. So, this 1.5lakh amount withdrawn in premature exit is taxed as per my tax slab rate or it is tax free..? Please clarify..
I’m a private firm employee & i opened NPS 3 years back. My sole reason was to get additional tax benefit of ₹50k. NPS in India is similar to 401(k) plan in the US. Although my purpose of investing in NPS still remains the same, but I would suggest private firm employees in their 20’s to get a head start & open a NPS. With better medical facilities & per capita income, our life expectancy is gonna increase in the near future. After retirement a steady monthly income will make you less dependent on your children & live life tension free.
I invest in 401(k) here in the U.S. I am planning to open NPS in India. Unlike our parents, it worries me that when we retire, there won't be any govt. pension for us.
very true...... NPS is similar to 401K........... students, employees, etc are not actually told about NPS in India..... EPF is automated....... not sure how many elders know about it
@@thestoryofindia9357who in the US gets pension? Do you know cost of pensions?

ok but MP and MLA should go with NPS !!!!!
This is the only video which explains virtually each and every functional aspect of NPS (Tier 1 + Tier 2) along with the tax implications. Thanks for creating this useful content !!!

This is the first time I came across u channel n found all the information so valuable I just opened both nps and term I wish I had come across u channel sometime back 👍
Nice explanation on NPS features & its benefits. Can you also cover the impact/benefits in case of death/permanent disbility/permanent loss of income? What happens to the amount contributed in such cases?
Your videos are so clear to understand and very simple. Thanks for all the informative videos sir!
Manpreet bhai ki explain karne ki technique hi gazab hein. Clean and simple. Keep it up guys.
This is my go-to channel for such topics. You and ur team are doing a great work. Kudos brother!
Hi mandeep,
After watch all your vidoe i have decided to invest in NPS but when I tried opening account I have to select different scheme, which is quite a task can u make a video for comparing all schemes and how to allocate and how to select all, how to change funds etc. Kind of a final video to actually like u did for zerodha investment.
Love ur content and dept of ur research.
First of all thanks for the informative video. You have 1 subscriber more from today onwards. Can you please clear the following remaining doubts:
Question 1) In case of death of beneficiary before 60, how much of the amount can be claimed?
Question 2) After age 60, when annuity scheme starts, if a person dies prematurely what amount can be claimed?
Wow apne kitne simple tarike se explain kia hai ki har insaan ko samjh aa jaye
Aap ne bohot simple tarike se sab bataya hai. Apka vdo dekhne ke baad NPS kafi asani se samaz aaya. Dhanyawad. Ek hi request hai ek example deke samzaiye ki x amount y years ke liye bharne pe Kitna pension milega...
Really good content. Really looking forward to more videos on NPS.
Awesome video! Subway reference was too good :D A couple of questions around Annuity Plan - 1) For how many years do we have to take the annuity plan ? Or is it upto us to decide the duration since that will decide my monthly pension ? 2) At which tax rate will the pension income be taxable ?
Pension till death. There are four to types among annuity plans.
Pension will be taxable according to the income tax slab at that time
Hi @mandeep @rishabh. I have been binging all your playlists for the last 10 days and am almost done with more than 90 videos. I thoroughly enjoy them, which is evident as I took out the time to watch so many of these videos at 1.5x and also made notes. I just have one constructive feedback for you, so that future young people who would like to absorb good quality information quickly can be helped. The playlists efficiently groups the relevant videos, BUT, the order is not given. I had to many times go through the entire playlist, sometimes opening the wrong ordered video and then again identify the first one and open it. This is a very small request and has nothing to do with the thoroughly well-researched and amazing content. It can also be sorted easily if two people spend an hour each. Just a suggestion. Keep doing the amazing work. I love you guys for doing so. Cheers.
Your Unique way of Presenting tough things in very easy way is much INVINCIBLE and impressive, keep posting Brother

Great content LLA. I have few questions if you can answer them I will really appreciate.
1. What happens on demise of NPS subscriber?
2. Can I switch from Active choice to Auto choice?
3. Is there any app which we can use to check NPS activities like we have for Mutual funds like ET Money?
Answer:
1. Your nominee will get the amount.
2. Yes, but once or twice per year only.
3. Umang app. Can be used to see your account details.
Brother 1no video he.. sub Kuch easy way me BATA diya Aapne... Thank a lot for awesome information...
Thank you Madeep Sir,for sharing such important information.Take care
Great video. It would be really great if you can throw some light on which fund manager to choose for Tier 1. How to check their performance for the last 10 year (or more) across different class like Equity
Dear Mr. Gill, Thank you for the simplified and immensely helpful video. Could you clarify if a govt. employee can choose active choice, if so, how? Thanks. VS
Yes you can choose .With your pran noyou can make many other changes.Govt has no role accept their contribution.
Such great content..big fan, huge respect for you and the team ❤️
Great content. Not only this but a lot more that I've watched and learned from so far. A BIG THANK YOU. Have 3 questions on this topic - would be obliged if you can answer these as I haven't found much satisfactory answers so far -
Q1. What happens to the 40% annuity fund incase of death of the subscriber (obviously after 60 years of age)?
Q2. What happens to the fund incase the subscriber passes away before 60 years of age? Also, is the tier 2 fund value taxed for the nominee?
Q3. Is the defer option available for nominee after death of the subscriber incase the market conditions aren't that good to withdraw the lumpsum ?
Appreciate if you can take out your time to please answer these. And hey, keep up the brilliant work that you're doing. It definitely feels illegal to access such quality content for free 😄
Sir it is provided by COMMON SERVICE CENTRE (CSC) also.
In normal annuity pension scheme, the contribution we made is given to the nominee on death. Is it applies to NPS too?
Wow! Such crisp and precise explanation. 👏
Namskar Sir,
Kripya Medical Leave/Sick Leave topic par ek video baniye, jisme agar Medical Certificate submit nhi karte to kya action liye ja sakte hai.
OH&S ke purpose se kya view ho sakta hai?
I love your way, how you tell and make understand the terms. It is really much appreciated.
Thanks so much Sir.
Hi Sir,
I have a question regarding NPS employer contribution. I know you already made one video on NPS but it would be great if you can address how an individual can take maximum benefit of NPS. As far as I know NPS benefit are 50000 as tax exemption in 80 CCD(1). However, there is one more thing as NPS employer contribution which can be maximum of 10% of basic pay. So will it make the deduction over and above 2 lakh limit of 80C + 80 CCD(1). If yes, then how can I leverage my existing NPS pran to add employer contribution? if I have seperate PRAN for corporate NPS and my personal contribution then having more than one PRAN id is not valid or recommended by NPS authority which can cause problem. Please share your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance !
@LabourLawAdvisor hello, i have a question related to employer contribution only. Can the employer do the investment for employee in backdate, atleast for same financial year. I tried checking varioua FAQs even in Protean website, but no help.
Please advise.
Thanks in advance.
The video doesn't mention anything about the additional 50K NPS amount that can be exempted under 80CCD(1B).. would like to know how will that change the decision?
Well explained. Every doubt cleared. All possible queries addressed.. Good
Very good educating video on the topic. Liked it. Very much appreciated. One question though: what is NPS TIER2 TAX SAVER ACC and can we operate TIER2 W/O TAX SAVER and TIER2 TAX SAVER simultaneously?
In case of PSB bank employees, NPS is compulsory. Is it the same like explain here or functions differently.
Eagerly waiting for the calculation part in the next video from this series.
बहुत अच्छी तरह समझाया आपने
Wow ! What a precise explanation . Thank you .
Sir I am investing 50000/year what will be the maturity value after 23 years and what will be pension per month after 23 years?
One thing to keep in mind that NPS employer contribution is part of your ctc similar to PF. Very long term investment plan will never be helpful.
Real life example: My dad invested 300 rupees per month with 12% compound interest and after 20 years he got 3 lakhs rupees. 20 year back 300 rupees per month was a big amount. The money he got after 20 year is not valuable as compare to 20 year back. So I feel very long term investment is not a good idea because indian rupees is always falling. Instead you can invest some where else like land, gold. Choose your investment wisely.
Returns on gold is just 9.5 percent in the last 20 years
Agriculture land near industrial area is the best option. Or buy plots in industrial area and make rental properties. This is best option for regular income.
Bhai sab chutia bna rhe hai
Then according to inflation increase your contribution amount also. Then I feel we ll get more fund
Bht hi shandar brother ... Keep educating us 💐💐

Dear sir ! Can you suggest where is the best place to open NPS account ? With your experience ?
Very good and complete info on nps. Thank you so much!
Some very important questions:
What are the charge structures in NPS, please make a video on this. It looks like for each remittance the charge of POP-SP (20 rs or 10rs minimum) and CRA (3.75 per txn) are very high. Also please explain D-Remit feature in that. I am still not clear whether D-Remit is entirely free or not.
What are the advantages/ disadvantages of opening NPS account through third party applications like ETmoney?
actually where is the best place to open NPS account ?
I have opened NPS account last year...right now I am at a loss of 52%....NPS can be risky....if you allocate too much in equity
Minimum how much i can allocate on equity?
In the long term , you will get high returns.. don't worry
Who is your pension fund manager???
minimum is 0%, I am 33, so I allocated 75%, but it's a wrong decision, my pfm was sbi...then I changed it to hdfc, still no improvement.

If you have exhausted 1.5 lakh limit for 80C, you can get an exemption of another 50k if you put money in Nps on your own, on top of it if your employer provides nps contribute facility you can put 10 percent of your basic in nps which will be tax free
Sincerely explained in detail.
I work in a nationalised bank and this video really helped me. Thank you.
In current situation lot of govt employees r complaining to ban nps n start old pension scheme as after investing for more than 30 yrs in Nps they r hardly getting pension of rs1500 to 2000 because the pension amount is dependent on market condition.so what u have to say about that?is Nps still a good investment option as at the age of 60 a person doesn't want to get a pension of only rs1500
Yesssss ys ys you r right..
Aisa hi hota he last me sifr 1000 rs month aata he all amount uske pas raheta he hamri bachat k isase achha to fd me incom jayda hogi..
AAP thodi iski details jaano pehla,
1500 pension sirf usko milegi
Jisna poori life sirf approx 200000 h contribution Kia,
You must search NPS calculator
That will help you for some details
@@nakulsahore7934
Yes
Not true, 1500/2000 pension unhe mil rahi hai jinki sirf 6-8 saal ki service hai (baki wo contract pe the ,so actual employment tenure on government payroll is not more then 8 years). Of course usmai unka contribution he itna nahi hai ki koi pension ban paye. On the other hand agar koi 30 saal contribution karega to obviously usko accha return milega.
I would suggest you please search the facts and figures before coming to a conclusion. Search those Govt. employees amount of contribution, the number of years of contribution, the percentage invested in annuity etc. before making any comment. Surely, I believe that you will be in a better position. I know one uncle who worked in the private organization for the past 21 years, believe it or not, he is getting Rs 19580/- per month through NPS (he said it). He has other investments like RD, FD, SIP, Insurance as well. When I asked how he managed to do this, he simply replied, "Saving is an Art, Saab ki baas ki Baat Nahi hai. Long hail Warren Buffet". So, my friend, it is deemed to be difficult but not impossible.

I watch your videos on RUclips and have learned a lot so I would like to say thank you for doing this great work.
I have one query on NPS. I have recently opened NPS account after watching all 3 videos on NPS.
Currently, I am doing 12% contribution in PF but now, I am willing to contribute in NPS.
I have following queries.
1. Can I reduce PF contribution to 1800 per month instead of 12%? If yes, then how?
2. Shall I reduce PF contribution and invest that amount in NPS? I will get some benefit or not?
It would be great if you can reply to me or create a video on this topic.
Thanks,

Hi sir. What if someone get died Before after Applying NPS .(Before age 60 and after age 60)
If possible please give example.
National Pension Scheme is designed to offer monetary help to a subscriber after retirement, it also offers certain death benefits. In case of death of a subscriber, the nominee/legal heir is entitled to withdraw the accumulated money.

There are different type of plans while taking pension. Either you get pension till your death then your nominee gets pension or you get pension till death and nominee gets lumpsum after your death etc
On the death of contributor before age of 60, a lumpsum amount be received by nominee, however after 60, there various scheme of annuity for pension offered by insurance companies, need to choose one among them..
There are 4 options available.
Check Nps website. You,your wife even after death of you & your wife your children can get the only depends on which scheme you're choosing at time of taking annuity plan.
