FYI the paper packaging with the instructions printed on the back specifies 400/600 grit. I started with 220 then finished with 600. Again, terrific, clear video. Thanks!

I wonder if you could add color to make it match better.
I'm thinking yes, but really wasn't sure what color it was going to be when dry...as you know, most paints change color after drying.
Sandpaper on a stiff drywall sanding block would work better

I hope so too Kathy. This was done a couple of months ago now, and I still couldn't be happier with the durability and look of the repair. Don't even notice it anymore.
How did your sink project go?
I’m going to attempt to fix a chip myself on one of sinks. I was able to find the product on Amazon. I don’t know if you’d like a link to it. But just make sure you choose the one with no pricing and then it’ll pop up $. The one before that was $20 😳 for same product. Anyway thank you for the simple and easy to follow video.

No sanding. It's self leveling.
OK, just seemed like sanding would be the best way to get a smooth since the application doesn’t ensure smoothness. Thanks for the prompt reply.
I have a hairline crack about 10 inches long on my sink. I've been looking for ways to fill it, as it is more of a cosmetic issue. I'd rather not buy another sink for such a small issue. This could be just what I was looking for!

Is this a single-use kit? Can I pour out only what I need and keep the rest in the bottles for future projects?
There was no indication in the instructions on how long the product will keep in the freezer.

Why do you wet the sand paper? I did not see you do that in the video.
You can wet it if you wish. The porcelain was thick and I needed aggressive sandpaper. Wet would have worked but taken longer.
Does it come in other colors?
Good question Toni... tell the truth, I didn't look for any others when I found white.
So this product is not Sandable?
I don't represent the manufacturer of course, but from my seat, I'm saying..no. Even if you give it a day or so to dry, to sand it, would remove the sheen and cause a matte finish. The sanding should take place prior to painting it on...to the surface...to prep it. The painted on layers should be painted on so thin that sanding would not be necessary after it self-levels.
Do the gloves have to match the shirt?
