Cole The Cornstar, aka Cole, is a 4th generation family farmer from Central Iowa who is the life force behind his family’s 2,000 acre farm. Cole promotes agriculture by filming his day-to-day adventures with his Dad (Daddy Cornstar) and brother (Cooper aka Magic Mullet) on the farm. With a lot of help from family, Cole instills humor and education into his videos fit for viewers of all ages.
Despite being 25-years old, Cole has an old-fashion work ethic with an innovative approach toward agricultural technology and practices. Cole's mission is to prove the American Dream is not dead and be a megaphone for agricultural education and innovation, from technological advances in farming equipment to conservation practices.
It saddens me to see DC upset like that, a true test of a most patient man
Praying for a successful season. Please don't be part of the problem falling off the bin site.
Do you guys understand QA/QC?
@@garyframe9657i think they were telling cole not to fall off
It breaks my heart to see the frustration the bins have caused your family. On the upside I watched Nave’s new video with Edward, does a heart good!
Can't stand Nave
Whoa Daddy Cornstar. Please don't go up there alone, you never know what's going to give next & we kind of like having you around. ❤.❤
Why do they not wear safety harnesses? Very irresponsible.
Everyone’s fault but their own. Not smart enough to wear safety equip
@@kenchambers379 what exactly would you anchor to? Only works if your safety anchor wasn’t half assed. The whole building is garbage so there is nothing to anchor to.
@@Gil_Gilbert what exactly would you anchor to? Only works if your safety anchor wasn’t half assed. The whole building is garbage so there is nothing to anchor to.
@@realredditstories420 if he can sit on it should be able to anchor to it
Hold on Daddy/Granpa Cornstar, even here in Brazil there are prayers.
As a farmer, myself, a few hours south of you in Missouri I can so relate to everything in this video. It was so good to see Nave.
Ya know...If DC swore on camera about the bin site, I wouldn't fault him in the slightest.
Paying that kind of money for a half-assed job, would send me into a rage too!
They built the empire state building in 13 months, but this bin site has been an issue longer than 13 months. Really puts it into perspective when you think about it.
You'd figure this company knows what they build was going to be in youtube so they would at least build Cole's bins the right way.
Agreed!
Please be careful
Th Durecho the year before almost was an invitation for every half assed worker in several states to show up and build bins. I bet they had HUGE parts of their workforce that didn't know what they were doing. If you have ever seen a housing development go up, you know what I am talking about. The issue is, the lawsuit is doing who knows what, the bin is falling apart, and the corn and soy are NOW in the ground and growing. The clock is ticking, and it does not look promising at all!
Sending prayers and hugs to all of you .DADDY CORNSTAR JUST BE CAREFUL UP THERE .
Daddy Cornstar, do you have any stress? "Just one. Just one. Honestly." You can just feel the rage building. Hanging in there DC.
Seeing DC that upset literally brought tears to my eyes.😢
Lovies God is a rewarder of those who diligently serve Him. Bless you all love New Zealand ❤❤❤
Mann family farms!!!! Cool to see him visit! Great video!
Master mechanic Bucky cameo lol
😂😂yessir
All you Cornstar folks should consider wearing some kind of safety line when working on the upper reaches of those bins. Tie yourself off to something that is not falling apart. I know its a pain, but it is better then the alternative. Narragansett Bay.
Thank goodness for the red planter and Cooper😂😂!! Cole 3.5 MPH😢😢 DADDY CORNSTAR hang in there sir !!
That bin site is frustrating for us to watch. I can't imagine how it is for you all. So sad that it has gone down this way. Hope it gets straightened out soon.
sad to see so much trouble with binsite. trust God to see you through to a hopefully peaceful and ideal settlement.
I feel so BAD for Grandaddy Cornstar.😢 I’ve never seen him so upset when he was a top of the bin.
I don't blame him. They spent a million dollars for a death trap. It's not safe for ANYONE to be up there. Especially someone with a few years on their tired bones.
@@mikejones8866 I agree. But I also know in the end, the Cornstar family will be made whole over this.
I also know punitive damages will be levied. Cole has done a great job documenting
@@iamgriff You have to much faith in our court system.
yes what was the site QA or QC doing just going around Ticking Boxes and not Checking
@@iamgriff While they will hopefully win the lawsuit, something like this probably could bankrupt the company that did it so it could be very hard to get all your money back. IMO the site needs to be leveled and all money returned and new site built with "good" concrete and an actual pit, not some home made thing.
17:40…..that’s a huge huge safety concern and the frustration is definitely justified so don’t worry BUT be safe while up there take your time no rush and eventually don’t trust it with your life you have a grandchild now
I feel for you guys and especially Daddy Cornstar, you can tell he is a man of integrity and having to deal with someone (Bin contractor) who is obviously not, has to be stressful. I hope you all get a decision and damages awarded for the bin site soon. Nobody should have to put up with that crap. Stay safe and God Bless
Don’t forget to like the video!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🥰🥰
Man, as a fabricator, I am just totally pi$$ed off for you guys when it comes to your bins. People suck and don’t take pride in their work anymore. The amount of time to do a job correctly doesn’t take much longer than when you rush through it. Prayers that there will be a positive outcome for you guys. Much love from North Carolina
If I was Mama Cornstar, I'd be TERRIFIED every time DCS goes up those bins. Any weld, any bolted walk he steps on could collapse. I wouldn't trust ANY of it. Those builders should not only be sued, but brought up on charges for unsafe building practices.
Agreed !
OMG Daddy Cornstar be careful up there!
Praying for y'all. Stay positive and grateful. Love to the whole Cornstar Family.
Planter mechanic has a helluva bin site! you should ask who built his.
I really hope the bin site contractors get what's coming to them. I can't STAND dishonest people
My butt puckered for daddy cornstar walking on top of that bin...
I could tell DC anger never seen DC get mad like that.
@@GamingCharlotte I think this was the first time he let his inner self show on camera - after years of photo work, you know it's serious if it makes him break character. Not just his normal amazing character, but his youtube character as well.
I would have thought most of the construction issues were due to the pandemic. Construction projects were put on hold because building materials were delayed by the supply chain breaking down and labor was getting sick. Now things are back to normal-ish the fact the builder hasn't made things right and fixed the issues with the bin makes the builder look very bad. They did a bad job and they need to correct their mistakes.
They put a child on the contract when it needed a manager of large grain contracts and projects.
I’ve found my new passion: watching Cole the Cornstar when I’m all caught up on Millenial Farmer. When I’m all caught up on Cole, I go look for Daddy Cornstar. If I’m all caught up on Daddy Cornstar, the Laura Farms it is.
Don't forget Brian's Farming Video's.
Missing the two best. Larson Farms and Welker Farms
Yea I am preying for y’all for a good season and a good resolution to the bin site god bless
Daddy CornStar your boys are blessed to have you in their lives, and us the viewers as well. You have an amazing family.
The frustration of a humble patient man. 😢
I could just cry hearing DC talk about that bin site fiasco.😢
I would highly recommend having a Fall Protection Plan and being 100% tied off when climbing up there.
God bless your family! DC please be careful!
From the bad bin site there will be good to come. You are good people just hang in there
Scares the heck out of me any time you have to go up on that grain bin. I hope you own that company when all is said and done. It's actually remarkable that no one has been killed or seriously injured.
Your father made me so nervous climbing up there.
DC, there is no way I could get atop of that grain bin! My palms get sweaty every time I see you up there, especially when you are looking down at the ground or show a film shot downwards😮 😢.
I love feeling the sidewall of the slit...
..I'll show myself out
Ellie is getting so big! So good to see her. Good solid running day of both planters. Here’s hoping for you!
Heartbreaking to see how upset DC is and how criminal the whole situation is. Pray there is restitution made and stress doesn't cause illness as it sure can. God bless and stay safe wherever you're up that death trap.🙏💕🙏
Great Job there Cole. It is Great o see the younger generation taking over the family farms. Your videos show that it isn't all hop in tractor and drive the fields all day. It also shows that farmers work very hard to keep it all running. The biggest thing is you are pretty much an open book. Keep up the great videos.
Keep your heads up regarding the bin site. Frustrating as it is, when it's finally settled and fixed it's going to be a huge blessing for y'all. Prayers for a peaceful and agreeable resolution to the bin site situation. God bless you all!
I panic any time someone goes up the crumbling bin. 😢Please be safe people! Bin sites can always be rebuilt but the human body has no spare parts, what we were born with is all we have.
I'm rooting for you guys regarding your bin site. It makes me sick seeing you have so much trouble. Keep your chin up and God bless you. I hope your dreams come true. Peace my friends. 👍👍👍❤️
I feel bad for all of you when it comes to the bin site. You make an investment to prepare for a brighter future and you have to deal with problems. Hopefully things get resolved soon, until then keep safe.
It's far from just "problems." This is a serious safety issue.
@@mikejones8866 trying to be as unbiased as I could... with that said, you are quite correct. Climbing bins is sketchy at the best of times, with loose railings it's almost too much to watch.
Enjoy your videos. I hope Baby Cornstar gets well . Have a great day Cole and family
What’s wrong with the baby?
Derek Mann!!! That was a awesome surprise!
Just know all of us out here are wishing you good season.
Great family.
How did you do all you do years ago. So much technology now. Good job getting it done.
I wish I had the money to build you a bin site with no issues. ❤
If it aint broke dont fix it . Sometimes overthinking and trying to overtune stuff causes more problems than you fix and lost time cost more than what little youd gain.
Man I don't know how you keep your cool with the mess they made on the bins I would have a melt down for sure you are truly a man of God to be able to even talk about it
I would have to cover that AGI on my bins, I wouldn’t want my neighbors to think I endorse them or encourage anyone to buy them. It was a fabulous idea but those bins have been nothing but one problem after another between, grain sweeps, gain pit, motors, belts, cracking concrete, shoddy welds, stuff falling off, conveyor issues….sheesh
-Cooper looks like he’s having so much fun.
-The man that rarely gets angry. Gets angry. 😡😡 Throws pipe‼️ Honestly that bin site is turning into a death trap‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
Daddy Colestar , we are praying 🙏 for you and family. It makes me angry too. Hope y'll will win!! Always love the video.
God bless the Cornstars! To Daddy Corn Star, I know it's frustrating, God will see you right. I often pray that he will look after you. All the best.
I think you should DC wearing a safety harness when he's up on that bin lol
What's he going to tie off to? I wouldn't trust any of it.
If Daddy Cornstar is upset, you can rest assured, there's good reason. I pray it all works out for them. Nothing worse than someone treating good people poorly. Says loads about their character.
Bucky!! Mann Family Farms is another great channel. Love the positive attitude even when things are going wrong.
How long has Bucky worked for VanWall? I thought Mann Family Farms was big enough to support all the family members?
Ohhh Daddy Cornstar I wouldn't trust an inch of those bin sites. Seeing you climb and then sit on it made me nervous!! Please be careful. Love all you guys!!😊
i love the reason for following behind naeva xD
I’m so sorry for what you all are going through with the bin site. So much excitement at the beginning. I’m frustrated for you. Pls be careful climbing around in such an unstable environment. You are loved by this amazing community…. I pray for peace to surround all of you and keep you safe.
I really hope it doesn't take someone falling off the grain bin for something to happen as far as a fix goes, hoping for the best for you and your family, Cornstars
0:55 where i live, a guy had that problem too, what he did is go over the field pretty fast with a harrow, tilted to 0 degrees. Problem was solved
❤ From Michigan. Watching you get stuff done.
Such heartbreak for the whole family regarding the bin site! I really hope you get it sorted!
Not used to the voice overs. You are some hard working souls, and thanks for that.
There are many solutions for places with vibrations. Put locknuts and helical spring washers, locktite, or just plainly gasket paint and that thing will never come undone, on its own.* After the court is finished.
Take many pictures before taking down stuff. Ideally, don't touch it.
It scares the neck out of me every time DC climbs those grain bins! My heart races at the thought of him getting hurt. DC, stay on the ground...please!
A/c seats are not really a/c they just pull air from the floor. Put a/c to the floor and seat will pick it up
Good information on putting seed in the ground, way more involvement than I ever imagined, mucho respect for the ag. world!!
Amazing that google earth still shows all the scrap surrounding the main farm and still no new bins.
It scared me when DC was up on top of the bin. Please be careful and don't go up unless it's just a have too!😯
great video Cole and family. I sure wish you could get the bin site fix. I hate see your dad go up there. Be safe
Industrial scale farming is endlessly interesting to me.
Daddy Corn Star you hang 8n there. Non of this bin site stuff has slipped by God. He sees everything and only wants good things for you all. I'm keeping this in prayer for everyone involved. God bless and keep you all.
Very well said! My thoughts exactly!
Didn’t realize you were that close to the Manns. Love their channel.
Great,original, approach ..good job
DC - really wish you would not go up on those bins when there is no one else around. I understand why you went up this time, but yikes! Way too dangerous! I hope you’ve been able to get your planting finished up. Stay safe everyone!
Fascinating looking at the planting process. On the bin site: Just Stay Safe 😳 💖
I like the new voice over commentary about what you are doing.
Looks like the planters doing a little bit better.
Dc,, I’m feeling ya with that bin site, hope that dsnt keep dragging on,, we all know it’s going to end at the courthouse doors,,
Oh my, you Cornstar's scare me being up SO, SO high! I do have a fear of heights and DC or is it GDC now, are so fearless venturing up that high without any real safety harnesses in the event of stumbling off that silo! Anyway, hopefully you are able to resolve the whole mess of this faulty silo real soon. A lot of money has been sunk into this needed building, A terrible shame it has not been done with equal care as you give everything you all do as carers of the land and farm!
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🌽 🌟
I honestly can't watch daddy cornstar up on those bins! My stomach turns everytime! Be safe!! Hire someone to fix it and send the bill to the last guys. Hopefully the lawsuit gets resolved quickly!!
Yes fix it. Nothing good will come out of waiting and it will prove to the judge you just are't trying to get money out of it
Cornstars I'm so sorry that you're still trying to get what you paid for! That goes for the generations in the cemeteries you tend!
I hope that you get this corrected, quickly, before next season - I worry so much about you guys working around that menace.
And it was never meant to be a menace... but another tool in the Cornstar arsenal.
The clip of DC, that hit home. A man who is relaxed and un-phased by everything you guys have shown. That reaction says it all, the situation is only temporary until the case is settled. there will be an end to that fiasco eventually!
God it’s a tough watch to see daddy cornstar up there on that mess😓
Sad part is - it’s compounded by the fact there is nothing secure to even attach a safety harness. (Not that a farmer would ever even use one).
I am so happy that Cole had a better day!
I only hope that there is full disclosure as to names of those involved so the rest of the farmers will be aware of to whom to avoid.
l expect there will be, there is no need to make their names public on youtube though, keyboard worries going after them, won't do anyone any good.
Remember there is two sides to every story.
@@bigfoot-wo3qy how do you look at that construction and not think the builder did a shoddy job. They can't even use some of the catwalks cause the welds all cracked already, not to mention the concrete pad.
I'll bet the farmers know.
@@jarrodvsinclair Did they offer to come back to do repairs and were refused? Some of the issues is simply the bolts coming loose. Those should be TIGHTENED rather than throwing the handrail off the top. ALL bolts should get a once over a year after install. Those found to be loose need a wrench tug to reset them. I've never once seen Colestar farms do a single replair themselves to the handrails.
Master mechanic Bucky from Mann Family Farms!
I like your voice over Cole. Your voice sounds more natural and your tone stays more equal throughout a sentence. Also like the aerial views of the fields. Thanks!
Still praying for you all with the bin stuff and praying for soaking showers for farmers everywhere!
Getting some done yes i think i would be beyond frustrated with the NEW BINS all the best guy's well done
I hear ya Daddy Cornstar. I don't want you to go up/down there either. 💙
Hang in there pop , they're going to have to fix that ,and fix it right.Look at everything that you have done together and do every single day.
Nan daddycornstar I understand your frustration. It will get better keep the faith
I learn a lot from watching y'all!!! Thanks for sharing your inside and outside operations! Ellie Girl is growing so fast!! P.S. One of my German Shepherds is named Ellie!! Too bad about the bins. Those salesmen are always so nicey nicey, and promise so much, and are happy to take your money, but dont deliver the goods. Praying for your safety, and a positive outcome in as short a time as possible. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Oh man more of the stuff falling off bins.
Why is it that Daddy Cornstar is always the one to go to the top and not the younger set
I wondernif you would just drive that planter like it was designed there be no problem. 9 mph lol
