Just passed my CJ3 type rating Monday, at CAE. Allowing me to fly this M2, as well.
Right around the 6 minute mark, I love how casually he commented on "flying to Venice to have some lunch." Italy or not, having that level of freedom to just fly somewhere new for lunch is incredible! I am very jealous! Thanks for taking me along with you on the flight though!
I think of it as a matter of scale.
I may drive (formerly, motorcycle) up to Temecula or even San Diego or LA for sights and lunch. It takes me about the same time, but costs less.
I'd love to fly up, of course, but my life choices mean this is the scale at which I'm comfortable.
The cleanliness of that intercom is amazing. The voices sound so crisp and clear

@@yoursimenthusiast8721 Cost per hour to operate. Embraer's phenom cost 1,970.13 pre hour a Honda Jet cost 1,134.90 per hour to operate, Citation Mustang Small 6 place jet cost 1,100.00 per hour to operate. I'm just saying to fly over and get lunch is a little pricey. But what a blast.

Into my home town airport in Venice. Love the channel.
Nice quick flight to Venice. Flying over the beach, it reminded me of a mini St. Maarten landing if it wasn't for the fact the Venice airport/beach is comparatively speaking less busy. Gotta love Florida!
I went a couple times to Venice during my training. Amazing airport and Sharkys as well! Really cool video SteveO, keep it coming!

What a great surprise for us at the end meeting Baron Pilot.
I couldn't have a jet or any aircraft... I 'd end up flying 500 miles just to get gas or groceries. 😂 Such a cool way to travel 👍👍
I'm a cab driver in the UK. Last year somebody flew into Norwich Airport and I drove them into the city and was instructed to wait for 45 mins then take them back to the airport. They came back to the car with a magazine and a pint of milk! 😂
@@54spatula Hell yeah it's the same principal with my motorcycle, I always keep finding occasions to take the damn thing out of the garage. Being in a need to buy a pack of cigarettes is usually enough for a 100 mile ride :-)
