Hola Steve! Love the vids! I was the shout out! JB1534. We were departing TPA. Keep it up!
Thanks for following along! Where where you flying to?
@@steveo1kinevo Absolutely! Love the TBM....Never flown it, but when I win the lotto, Im all over it. We were headed to KBDL.
@steveo1kinevo hey man Great vid, I don't wanna sound like a complete Prik but how come you and the rest of pilots dont wear parachutes or something to save them if Godforbid something happens to the plane? I mean don't you think safety is the #1 paramount of concern when it comes to these kind of things? I don't understand its 2019 and 17 thousand feet up there with only a seatbelt?
@@battosaijenkins946 In what emergency situation would moving away from the controls and trying to open the door in the back (which would then proceed to fly off and hit the stabilizer, if you could get it open at all) be a viable option?
@@battosaijenkins946 What do you think happen if engine stop? Fly is more secure than drive a car. Your engine stop middle of hiway in a car, you are in real danger. When engine stop in a airplane you dont fall like a stone, you continue gliding for to land in a safe place. Belt is for if you have heavy landing but also for heavy air turbulens that can shake around the plane. Wind pressure all doors and windows and even more if plane are not controlled by the pilot, impossible to open up anything for to jump. Safest is to stay onboard and take the plane down..
i still remember my first flight, out of the beautiful Los Santos Airport
My first flight out of there I had the police trying to shoot me down!! You can't teach that!
:D nice one
lmao!!!
same
Reminds me of my first landing at the gorgeous sandy shores airport where I clipped my wing on a rock and managed to wreck the plane
Wow. Such skill. Talking, flying and listening at the same time. Total respect mate
He clearly likes his job
It seems easy to do when on auto pilot
@@MelonHead1848 go and fly that plane then
Agreed! Absolutely amazing how much he needs to do and he does it so seamlessly.
Don't forget staying ahead of the aircraft too ;)
Wow, I was a commercial pilot, CFII 28 years ago and I'm just starting to get back into aviation. A lot has changed from a technical standpoint! When I flew SEL is was all analog instruments, paper charts and approach plates and hand flying. Looking forward to flying in the 21st century. Thank you for the video. I used to fly out of PIE in the 80's. :) Love that aircraft.
Who ever is in charge of keeping the dash board that clean needs a RAISE. The dash in this place is impeccable.
Nothing’s better than Night flying especially when your approach is over a city
Right? I remember flying into London, it's such a nice view from above at night.
This is a lot of details, gotta give it to the pilots out there such a great job. Sending greatness from Brooklyn NY
I think my head would explode from the information overload, with all that radio chatter. It was incredibly overwhelming to listen to it all, while concentrating on what you were saying and doing.
„Workload“ really makes sense when you see this guy prepping everything for the next move and keeping active his radio rolling... damn, doesn‘t look that easy to me...
Wow Steveo! This has got to be one of your best videos yet! Just love the night flying! Great views of the sunset and I enjoyed your explanation of all the steps during the flight. Great work!!
Really do love those night flights, smooth, quiet and the aircraft just seem to float.
Remember your good old days on flight sir..? 👍
There are two times that I have always enjoyed.1. Crisp fall days after the NC humidity has cleared out and there is severe clear and bright blue sky. 2. Summer evenings just at twilight when the ground lights are just coming on. I'm 68 now and no longer fly PIC but to be fortunate enough to enjoy one of those situations in an airplane is still a highlight.
I just want to point out that I love that you explain every thing each time! Thanks for making these videos!
Beautiful flight! The detailed narration about what you’re doing is terrific. Your love of flying is very evident. And the video quality is always superb. Keep up the great work.
i love the interior of the TBM. it's so smooth...
Love the views, flight education, and how he talks to us like we are there. That is why you are my favorite Steveo.
21:12 the moment he started flying through the clouds felt like the scene from Interstellar when Cooper dives into the black hole. Soooo cool (and scary)!!!!
"Flight Moves" - Steve-o's new hit single
That beautiful machine never becomes boring, you are living the life man!
I am a Boat captain and this just blew me away! The technical aspect and situational awareness is Amazing.
Wow. I love the way you took us on a flight. It made me feel like being a pilot.
“Hope you guys are feeling romanced” Lmao sunset to night flying is the best ✊🏽 more vids like this please
Very good flight to watch! Good flying too! I'm going on my second ever flight lesson tomorrow and watching you fly is very helpful and makes it more fun.
Now I could see that you do steer the plane on the ground with your legs. Great time spent with you in the air.
Great fun being along for an excellent ride. Thank you.
There is beauty while Flying and overlooking the great earth we live in. Night Flight is just Majestic. Thank you Sir for the great video and as always safe travels and continue to have the time of your life.. PS Whistle is and will always be a sign of happiness ... OH the landing was butter....
The Shoop I actually didn’t even notice the whistling until I watched it back in editing the video. Always enjoy happy controllers!
How
Love your reply. The only thing I can add would be it was "a great learning session". Never a dull moment.
great earth, good joke XD
Perfect video! Nice to have the close-ups on the instruments as he uses them. :-)
Wow! What a thrill to watch a master at his craft! Many years ago, I washed out of commercial multiengine training due to a severe problem with red/green colour vision. As a retired person, I now scratch the itch by building and flying radio controlled aircraft and flying a desk through flight simulators. I found it so rewarding to hear your commentary and be able to connect with my simple understanding of real world flight. I'm not gay, but yes, you did romance me as to your sunset comment. I'm always amazed at how you guys receive, process, and re-transmit a response to ATC. I never got comfortable to that point. What a well done video! Personally, I think the urge to fly is some sort of a disease that has to be addressed in some manner. You have given me another means to that end. Thank you very much. Fly high.... land soft.
Awesome flight Steve-O thank you for taking me along such a beautiful night for flying. Thank you for sharing I appreciate you. Peace out
Steveo you crack me up! I'm always feeling romantic when it comes to flying, lol.
For our younger aspiring Pilots, would you be able to include in one of your future videos your flight planning for your trip, filing your flight plan and then your pre-flight.
LOVE THE NIGHT FLYING!
Love your videos Sir! Rock on! Thank you 😊
Stevo! Love the narration, you're a great pilot. Very engaging and thoroughly educational and informative. Thank you for posting the vids. You're cool and collected. Really appreciate your skills. Peace.
"If man were meant to fly he would have wings!!" Much respect to Mr. Orville and Mr. Wilbur. The Wright brothers. On December 17th 1903 at 10:35 a.m., a man flew through the air for 120 feet clear!!! EXTRA EXTRA Read all about it!! ... MAN CAN FLY!!!
What a life :) I feel tremendous joy watching your vids and you are the consumate professional. It shows in the little things like going gear up and then stating 'lights show gear up'.
On my first night lesson I could see both Los Angeles and San Diego on either side! It was awesome!
Nice job Steve always wanted another night time flying great job
Watching your videos is like a free flying lesson. Thanks.
I cant thank you enough for filming that. I was a pilot for a Commuter Airline in the 80's and I lost my license because of Medical. This film really brought back some great memories. Now with all of the computers flying seems a lot different than when I flew. Keep the Video's coming.
Just like driving a car, I think I would much rather prefer to fly during the night time hours versus daytime.
I also have 2 questions for you as my curiosity bat signal went off during your video.....
1 - Where has Reggie been and does he still fly on your TBM?
2 - Do you still fly the Caravan out to the Bahamas?
Thanks in advance and want to add that your videos make flying fun for those of us unable to do what you do. :)
NOT THE BAT SIG. AGAIN...........DAMN I HATE THAT WHEN IT HAPPENS............NO MO TYSON RANCH FOR ME ! TONIGHT!.......AL TO THE CAVE!
Early morning and evening were my favorite times to fly my aircraft.
I love night flights, thank you so much for posting, I learn so much each time I watch your vids. Greetings from France
Love flying at night !!!
Idk about flying at night but I sure love driving at night!
Hey Steve, love your videos. I always watch for your next one. Yours are my favorite. Very good technique and quality and substance. My son has just become a pilot. He started his first job as a flight instructor in Illinois. Please keep it up. I noticed other pilots who had good RUclips videos are not posting new videos much anymore. Yours are my favorite so I hope you keep them coming.
Enjoying these videos as I start my pilot journey.
Wonderful I felt like I was setting with you and flying, especially with the sunset. Thank you steveo
Ain't gonna lie, ain't search for this but i enjoy it :D
I love my city MIAMI!
That's right on the spot about the black pitch. As a pilot and as a passenger it's what I use to see most times, no stars, only the moon sometimes. Very relaxing, I loved it was so relaxing to watch.
Hey Steve, Jason from Sydney Aus. Thank you for your generosity and amazing value you add to our profession.
Have you ever seen or recorded a Green Flash , either flying or when you were CG ? Thanks for the great video !
Hey Steve, you've got the best RUclips videos of flying bro, really appreciate it keep up the good work I'm going to push the Subscribe button here in a few minutes thanks
Welcome aboard Tim!
Thank you for making a great video without flamboyant expressions of grandeur like some other show offs. You are a true professional.
Hi Steve, becoming addicted to your videos and enjoyed this one immensely!
I'm an ex-RAF tech which allowed much in the way of air experience and unlogged flying in particular the Hawk air testing, aerobatics and transit.
I would like nothing better than to do what you do and your videos are prompting me to rejuvenate my lapsed ppl!
9:21 is a great desktop picture!
Hey Steve, I love this kind of flying. Any advice for someone who would rather get this kind of job, instead of flying a tubeliner?
As someone newer to the channel. What exactly does he do?
Private, IFR, Comm, Multi Comm (probably about 60k). I personally would skip the high priced schools. Find a local school with good pricing and an instructor you click with, then live at home to save money and stay committed. It is a lot of work to do it fast, but it can be done. Do the written tests early on in each phase of flying. It's best to just get it out of the way and concentrate on the flying. After you get all that done, then fly pipeline or something for the next 250-300 hours to get you to 135 SIC mins, then start looking at charter outfits to get some 135 time. Network, network network. Corporate flying is all about who you know. You'll get other people work and they will get you work. Live below your means because corporate jobs come and go and you'll need cash to get over the humps...The market is awesome right now, but just 10 years ago it was a blood bath...Airlines have more stability and the top end pay better, but they typically require a 4 year degree (some are hiring without them right now, but don't count on it), and it's a JOB. Corporate can be either way, a grind, or sitting for a week in the Caribbean while you get paid. It really depends on what type of lifestyle you want to live.
Flying at an altitude of 7000 ft above new York or Chicago at night time is the pinnacle of bliss
Nothing beats a night time flight. The lit up cockpit and lights on the ground. Love it! If you put on some winter weather as well even better, light snow, my soul will be at peace.
Im not into flying at all, but this video was amazing
Cancut berem,perusak sistem virus
Not cheap operating that plane - how long does that take - beautiful scenery - thanks for the ride - never been to Florida or Miami before
another great music choice as well as another great video, the "smash" is a given , no need to even remind anyone anymore, thanks again for taking us along
Thanks Stevo... I find the radio work so interesting. Sincerely thank you for your efforts in bringing us such quality production .
Gotta love smart people to carry people like me through life haha
Pilot doesn't mean its a good IQ. It means h3 is good at following the rules :)
Tony Mind well, there is an awful lot of training that goes into becoming a pilot, it takes a lot of learning and it’s a lot more than “just rules” quite a lot of wit goes into flying.
A Good Christian Pilot and a lot of money
M10 Reboot yep. Pockets are gone. I sold them to keep flying.
Steve great job it's Allways great to see your videos
Not a pilot, but as someone who flies a lot, I prefer flying at night, especially if I'm flying into a city
It’s also more smooth than daytime.
People can learn a lot by watching you because of your very good descriptions of the details.
By far one of the finest pilots I’ve ever seen. Great job!!
Steve, I’m not a pilot nonetheless I really enjoy your videos.
Just like Roger Federer makes tennis look easy, so you make piloting an aircraft look easy. People that are good at something make it look easy.
Our favorite TBM tour guide with another great video! Funny that you should mention it -- yesterday I took the missus up for her first GA night flight, and she loved it. Night currency will never be a problem again.
I remember my very first solo traffic patterns on a DA 20 in Hungary, LHSM...Then my first cross country flying, the last leg into Salzburg Intl. LOWS during sunset...I felt in love with sunset and night flying, as you describe, smooth air, smooth sensations but all your senses on extra alert. Thanks for sharing, inspiring video.
Doesn't look like he's got enough leg room. Surely they can make it comfortable for the pilot!
That was my thought. What if he got a leg cramp?? 😳
Thanks Steveo. Another entry in the logbook!😉
Is that your kitty in the your profile pic? She's beautiful!
Truth's Knight_0777 Yes that’s my kitty. He passed a couple of years ago ergo that’s why the profile picture in his memory.
@@donditurner6635 Sorry to hear it, did you get another?
Truth's Knight_0777 Yes I found another Siamese. He’s a good little kitty. Thanks for asking. 👌😊
@@donditurner6635 Np, I love cats.
What a beautiful plane! Thanks for this video.
I have been mesmerized by your channel. I am not a pilot but enjoy your trips and your instructionals while flying.
"in the description *down below*" makes more sense when it comes from someone that's miles above the ground
hah
I prefer the night flights but as a single piston driver, the "engine loss" scenario tends to stay in the back of my mind a little more at those times. Nevertheless, nothing beats the view!
The view out the windows of all the lights along with the really cool lit up cockpit gauges looks so COOL. When you dimmed the panel lights looks so cool! Must be such a feeling of accomplishment when you are sitting in that cockpit flying at night over the cities. I think of prestige when I watch these vids.
I enjoy watching aircrafts in motion, this by far best one, amazing how you know all those buttons and controls, my mind would be completely lost, great video man, Thanks for sharing!
I'm so jealous. I found out how expensive it was to become a pilot found your channel and just enjoyed watching, guess I will wait for Microsoft flight sim.
Join the military. They train you and pay you.
@@TheeAthis HA, too old :)
@@Byrkster Ahhh man, that's what my wife had guessed. I'm with ya though, I ended up getting my Sport pilots license to save on cost.
I saw ‘it’ and hit like!
This was a good one, had to check twice. Steveo is getting creative and finding new spots!
Steveo, always great intro. Love the music. Favorite time to fly? End of day dusk. Still see the ground and love the lights at night. 👍👍👍👍
calmest and most confident pilot
Reminds me of my first flight ( flying a kite when I was a kid )
After watching this video i didnt wait a second to start my airplane , desktop and hit xplane11.exe :P
i want x-plane but i’m too broke
Love your style. These videos are super cool. Thanks for sharing! About to start getting my private pilots license next week - full time. Very excited.
That was incredible never been in the pilot seat before thank you for sharing be safe God bless
Aye Steve since your always around Tampa Bay
can you be my flight instructor please!!
Lol
I could outfly this dude any day.
...In Battlefield.
Me to, in Arma 3 in a jet 😂
I love night flights in the cockpit. Thanks for posting this beautiful video. Maybe my all-time favorite of yours (so far!)
Love the sunset and the passing through the clouds. Cities are wonderful places flying over at night.
3:10" kkkkkkkkk
if I had his money id never fly alone, def have a few hotties around for later
its 1 thing being able to fly but aproaching a member of the opposite sex is quite another lol alone in the dark touching knobs isnt my ting but it does make me think why do they call the front end of a plane a "COCKPIT" pmsl
They’re probably in the back seats waiting for him to hit autopilot
He's gay
Great flight. I love flying or driving at night.
I really enjoy these beautiful flights. And thanks for the explanations of how the airplane works, love those too.
Stupid question from an absolute rookie: Why do they say niner instead of nine?
Ur fine lol, when you are far away from atc comms become really hard to hear, that's why for example pilots say bravo instead of "b" because it could be misheard as "c", "d", "e", etc. Nine kinda sound like five, so for redundancy pilots say niner
The word *nine* is also a German word idk what it means...so they say *niner* to make it different
here’s the alphabet for ATC: Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India, Juliett, Kilo, Lima, Mike, November, Oscar, Papa, Quebec, Romeo, Sierra, Tango, Uniform, Victor, Whiskey, X-ray, Yankee, Zulu. it can be a bit difficult to remember them but what i did is make a Quizlet to engrave it in my brain and it worked really well.
That cockpit dashboard looks so complicated
Expensive cockpit!
Beautiful flight, thanks for having us along!
In the future everyones gonna have his own "plane".
These videos would be so much better if you had a dog as co-pilot.
Somebody is a little too into dogs.....
@@jessemontelongo5277 🐶 I'm also into little dogs too. . . .
Steve...greetings from Pakistan ,just got back was tired but when i watched your video could nt skip it ,patience with precision TO to TD relentlessly illustrative ,specially where you placed cam for the viewers is commendable. It may look so easy but you have earned this swiftness to soar smoothly through relentless hard flying hours must be in thousands.Your well come to Pakistan regards Dr Shahzad Ali Ghazi .
Always loved flying early morning and late evening/night flights!
