D.C. ground is super nice, not just because he's a fan, so it seems. It's great when controllers are nice while remaining efficient. Flying is a team effort!
Viewers like myself who watch many many stevo1 videos get a repetitive dialog from you about what your doing to fly the aircraft and thats better than a good thing thats a great thing. When I watch other YT flight channels even though the pilot says very little I know whats going on because of you. Thank you Stevo.
I have been watching your videos for a very long time now and it’s very inspiring, being a student and due to circumstance in my country it is very hard to obtain a ppl. But your videos inspire me to keep working hard towards my goal to obtain a ppl. Thanks for inspiring me.
E fox.. Stevo did establish that runway choice prior..earlier in the video, you can hear him request it, and get confirmation. He just knew full well that it would look really 'last minute' to everyone else visually.. It makes for some great artistic licence, and makes for some great 'Warrior-Poet' aviation. Especially with that soundtrack mate! Outstanding, as usual, Stevo.. 🍻 💙 🇦🇺

I love how he explains every detail of what he’s doing. I may not know what most of it means but I appreciate the details. Definitely earned my subscription.
Feel free to ask questions. There are plenty of experts here along with "PC pilots" like myself who also enjoy "flying" the TBM 850. Great work SteveO as always!
Nice flight as always..My radio comms are getting better watching Stevo in action.. I practice writing down the clearances from here also.. Luv the real world action...Thanx Steve..

Edward Cabaniss yup I’ve heard some crazy fast controllers. I think Aviation 101 had one where it’s almost important to hear, or it in fact it’s a JustPlaneSilly video. I think the ATC crazy controller is actually part of the title of the video.
Love your videos! Thanks for sharing what you're doing while in flight. Beautiful plane! As a private pilot who hasn't been able to fly in years it sure brings back great memories!!
Great flight and video and a bonus for me at the end in seeing that Eastern 737 as I used to be a F/A for them from 1976 to 1989 based in SJU and MIA, brings back some good memories. Thanks again Steveo for another safe and smooth flight.
Loved this short landing. Now (being a non-pilot) I've got to jump on my sim and try that approach. I really enjoy listening to your conversations w/ATC and learn a lot from them as see the contrast between the sim ATC coms and real life. Sometimes I'll practice actually saying these requests to myself as I'm "Taxiing, holdin", etc.
Your videos are very cool, best parts for me are when you start and stop the engine, the sound is very exiting. Its nice to have friends everywhere you go.
That ground controller was cool ! Not just the shout-out, but his methodical was of speaking was great. When you were videoing the tower, I’m betting one or more controllers were videoing you on take off. I would, lol! Great video Steveo, as always !
Steveo, I know I've said it a thousand times, but I always enjoy your flights and appreciate the chance to ride a long. Thanks for letting me tag along with you for another adventure and as always, I loved the music.
Observation tower at udvar hazy has a great view of dulles, always spend some time watching aircraft coming in or out when I go there. The museum splits approach of 1R and 1C and planes are usually level with the top floor as they come in.
..thanks again, Steveo...re-watching and re-enjoying this really great and most excellent video ...while sheltering at home during these crazy days...stay safe out there...and best wishes from yet another early subscriber...
Steve0 - Nice job on the centre camera placement. Noticed your back to the old Bose headset. Additional a BIG shout out to your owner for allowing to film - music pics are FAB.
Another great video Steveo! Loved that scenery on approach! The Sun angle did it justice! Hope the controller wasn't too annoyed with that "straight to the numbers" approach. I think you had him fooled a little bit. Safe flying!!
I don’t know much about turboprops but as a pilot I’m sure I’ll eventually be in one, I really enjoy the little tidbit you threw in there about the torque & itt. Would love to hear more in future videos.
The first time I've noticed the "Negative" deployment of the roll control spoiler. I had seen it deploy UP in conjunction with the aileron before, but this is the first time I've seen it rotate DOWNWARD into the wing (4:25) to create a SLOT in front of the flap to further increase lift on that wing.
Greetings from England. Great vid as usual. Passed through Dulles a few times many years ago, refuelling from Brize Norton to Belize. Loved the iconic Dulles terminal building and of course the mobile lounges, what a great idea! Keep safe and best wishes.
I give that tower controller a thumbs up. His awareness of what was happening is exactly what every controller should have. If it was a pilot about to land on the wrong runway this controller would of saved the day!
Steve, you rock! I always learn something on your videos, every time! I knew about the engine being torque-limited, but didn't know that was based on altitude. I didn't know it was temperature limited at higher altitudes. Makes total sense, now that you say that. Main thing I've learned regarding aviation: If you think you've learned just about everything about it, you're not even CLOSE. 😉 Great stuff as always. Beautiful shots out the cockpit glass! Great to hear ATC is enjoying this as well. 👍🍻
I watched a video the other day that had 3KQ in it. I didn't realize that it got sold. It was good to see the plane again. It is a good plane dude. Good vid as always!
That was a lot fun for me. I have lived in the Northern Virginia area around Dulles and I learned to fly at the Opa-Locka airport in Miami. Seeing your west to east approach over the Palmetto expressway also made me smile remembering two of the old VFR reference points The "passion pits" ( a drive in theater) and Opa-Locka West which everyone used for touch and go landings.
Steveo you are such a professional. I really enjoy you talking us through the entire flight. you are a great instructor. Have a great day. Happy Thanksgiving.
That was the best video I have seen in a long while, no offense to all the others but I can see all the post production that is done with speeds and sound variations especially when the one aircraft was taking off and you accelerated it looked like that plane was shot ot of a canon. Excellent work, Excellent Production!!!
Hi Steveo. PDC looks marvellous. Another brilliant video. Calm, informative and pleasantly enjoyable. Why you get five down thumbs is beyond me. I thank you for the vid. Safe flying for many moons to come.
For me it was single pilot IFR into a Texas airport in the winter . I was dropped into the clouds for about 40 minutes , no problem for me but the plane didn't like it so much as I was picking up ice . Finally just after the middle marker I came out the bottom and landed . When I got out of the plane I seen I was flying a 172 snowcone .

"Are you recording?????" is one of the best things I've heard an air traffic controller say
one of the few times we will ever hear that from ATC haha
Garrison Childs I loved how legibly he spoke. Most ATC’s speak way too fast.
The way he said it just sold me LOL
One of your best videos. The camera work/quality was great. The music sounded fantastic thru my home theater system. The sound mixing was superb.
26:25 that was savage approach and landing!
agreed! that's the beauty of visual approaches :) on final for like 10 seconds :)
Nailed everything this video. Music and intro is great. Thanks for demonstrating the PDC, I was curious.
Thanks! I personally like the soundtrack on this video as well.
Intro gave me the chills down my spine

Always enjoyable to watch your professionalism in the way you fly Stevo. Thanks for the effort you put into your videos. You are a great teacher.
