I agree Rachel about the fear of being convicted for a crime you didn't commit. One of my son's was convicted for a crime he was not committed and his wife lied to the courts and then confessed to me that she did afterward. Pray for my son and his family.
This is possibly the most entertaining set of moments I've ever watched online. I might have cried a little laughing with Rachel imagining some guy named Al protecting us consumers! The relatability, humor and intelligence of George and Rachel is what makes this podcast The Best. Plus, they screw up now and then like the rest of us....

The worst is when they scam the elderly. My grandma got scammed through a text from the "bank". So sad.
My husband and I bought a stolen car last year. We paid 30k cash *at a bank* and when we went to the DMV they said the title was fake (It even had a watermark and we saw the man’s fake ID that had his picture on it) and the car had been stolen. They never caught the guys and we were just so thankful to be safe. We found the car on FB market place. Be safe out there guys!

FB marketplace is mostly scams. Sucks.
This is insane!! I had a similar experience on FB marketplace. I purchased a car in cash and long story short I became a victim of a title jumping scheme. Likewise, I turned out safe and just thankful to be alive 🙏🏼
I heard so many horror stories about FB Marketplace and Craigslist car scams, I went to a dealership. Better to get the runaround and headaches from used car salesmen than completely scammed by a fraudster
@@Mansini77 carvana sold a stolen car to one of their customers. And a small car dealer said they had a incident like that too.

I know the yeti tumbler, I got an ozark trail one at walmart for like $7 and then saw weeks later a video comparison and the ozark trail one kept ice longer than the yeti branded one. Still have it today years later and use it daily.
I’m Aussie, and growing up my father had Billabong knock-off clothing labelled, “Billyhong,” which we bought at the local markets. It was always (and still is) something we joke about as a family. But the clothes lasted well and he loved them lol. Last Christmas I bought him actual Billabong shirts. Let’s see if they last as long as the knock-offs 😂

When I had free RUclips I got duped into so many scam type of sales from the advertisers I figured out it cost me more that an annual membership. So I decided to pay for RUclips and not watch all those awful commercials. I'm sad RUclips raised their price by $2 a month. I even got my solar panels from the ads - I so wish I didn't have that debt right now!

Oh. That jury duty one happened to a friend. She ended up paying them $500 via cash app....sigh...
If you get scammed, cash app doesn't care and won't do anything to help you get your money back. Plus watch out about numbers you call thinking you are calling certain companies to resolve an issue because it can be scammers acting like they work for that company and they can get your cash app info, banking info, or personal information.
I also have a dupe strap on a LV Pouchette 🤷🏼♀️.
Rachel, same thing happened to me with some Ugg boots.
I bought a cup holder expander for $5.50. Fits my already purchased 40oz. Hydro Flask bottles, priceless.
My LV bags i bought in my 20s are the only things i still own, besides my house. No regrets

I'm 45 and live in Ireland. I remember my Dad using the expression 'You've been duped' when I was a child. So it's not a new thing. Meaning 'To be tricked or scammed. Believed to originate among the Italian New Yorkers.

When I was in school, it was shoes. Name brand shoes. I wanted them but never did. Even now shoes are not my thing.
i had the warrant for arrest due to failed tax payments and a court date or something i missed. the call too but i knew it wasn't legit only after talking in circles with them until i remembered i had been audited in the past and they contacted me via mail not phone. plus, the urgency was suspicious.
I am forever going to think of “AL” when I see AI 😂🤣😂
