Lie 7 - when someone covers my meal I just express gratitude to them. My grandma taught me to not hinder someone being generous to you because you'll rob them of God's blessing to them and you. It helped me change my perspective and alliwed me to accept generosity and give generously.
Creamy Lemonade Just make it and put it in the fridge. It will become a pie filling. Putting lemon juice in condensed milk makes it thicken. Beat three egg yolks into the lemon juice and condensed milk, pour into a graham cracker crust, bake and you have a creamy lemon pie. Forget the drink and have a slice of pie. Everyone likes pie😊.
I do take Amazon returns back to Kohl's and then give the 15% off coupon to another person who is shopping. They are surprised and grateful. I feel good.
I'm debt-free and can afford to buy whatever food I want. But this month I looked at my budget and decided I spent too much on groceries ($250). Now I'm determined to cut my grocery spending by 20% next month.
Ordering clothing from Amazon-I’m going to return most of it anyway. No! You never miss the return window, throw the receipt away or cut off the tags. Good habits are a must.
Your know when Rachel cracks up before intro it’s gonna be a good show! But it seems the shows are getting shorter🤔 anyway always enjoy the laughter + content
Sometimes when people decide to cut back on the food budget to get somehting else they are often cutting back beer, wine, canned cocktails, sodas, chip, etc., not real food :-)
My ex-fiancée often said she's fine, which I found out as time went on meant things were very much not fine, but she was unwilling to talk about it. Basically anytime she said something was fine it wasn't fine. I finally called her out on it and that was the last week we were together. She wanted something very different financially than I. I was going to inherit her debt after getting debt free on my own. In the beginning she told me she wanted to pay it down quick. By the end she was completely flipped and didn't see the severity of the situation of being $40k+ in debt. It's not okay to say it's fine when someone you're close to asks how you are or what you think of something important. However, if someone I don't know or someone I know doesn't care asks me, I will say I'm alright when I'm not because it's just small talk and they won't want to get into the reason why I'm not fine. So I do pick and choose who I am honest to when asked that question. Half of the time when people ask me that they are walking away before I can answer, so I've gotten a bit jaded on that bit of small talk.
"That item/thing is cool but I'm broke so maybe later' When I have a fully funded emergency fund, full sinking funds, saving 50% toward retirement, and extra savings.... It's my way of forcing myself to stay frugal and an easy excuse
Honest question- why? Is it a moral thing? I.e. frugality = good character? Just wondering why some people deny themselves life pleasures when they are in good financial standing? I have a retired uncle in his 70s who lives verryyy frugally. He has millions. It makes me sad he refuses to go on vacations with the family because its "too expensive". He doesnt have children so he isnt saving it for them. You cant take the money with you when you die...
Listen, George and Rachel… Your mocktail sounds like a terrible version of an incredible Brazilian mocktail called “Limonada suissa”. It’s made from condensed milk, water, and lime. The lime makes a huge difference in the taste. And the entire lime is actually blended up into the drink so you get an incredible fresh zesty taste. Give the creamy lemonade a second chance and make it following a Brazilian recipe!!!
I was hooked on a creamy lemon drink last summer with these ingredients! The sweetened condensed milk gave it a great flavor. Your reactions were hilarious.
The Creamy Lemonade sounds like a Brazilian Lemonade, except it is made with limes and not lemons because limeade in Portuguese sounds like lemonade in English. I give Brazilian Lemonade an 8/10. We love it out our house.
I can pay my credit cards each month but I typically carry alot of money in checking. I am mindful of what I'm charging. I've had lean times and in those cases am really focused on needs.
After years of getting my 3 month emergency fund and all debt paid except mortgage, house A/C and roof failed and had to be replaced. This is so defeating.
@rachelcruze your hair is still long in these episodes, are these pre recorded? I want to hear@georgekamel to compliment the cut, it is super cute. (Not a lie!)😊
Friend of mine lost his wife last year. At the funeral, everyone was telling him "let me know if you need anything. We are here for you." He replied (jokingly), "Really!!...I need about $50,000 tomorrow!" It was continuous, and we were just waiting on the next person to offer help. Laughing non-stop.
Well, I picked the challenge to put my finances in order. Then I invested in cryptocurrency, stocks, through the assistance of my discretionary fund manager
I was laughing at how insecure George got about how he looked and had to make a come back about if he told white lies about Rachel being really funny…, You are funny Rachel.. Lol😂…🐶☺️♥️💥
You all make a person feel bad, sometimes life happens and we aren't telling lies. Or we help others and put our needs last. I get anxiety listening. That is the truth.
GLORY!!!'m favoured, $140K every 3weeks! And am retired i can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America 🇺🇸 ❤️
Really? Y'all are gonna lump credit cards in with buy now pay later? As someone who budgets I never spend money I don't currently have in my bank account on a credit card. Either it's in the budget or it's not. It's not a question of paying it off at the end of the month cause I have more than enough money in my account for it. The auto goes out on the due date, and I don't even have to think about it.
Speaking of white lies. Please update your research on student loan forgiveness. Over 4 million people have had some or all of their loans forgiven. Yes, some in government are attempting to block these programs, don’t be ashamed to apply for them anyway. The same people in Congress that don’t want to help students are the same people that passed forgiveness programs for corporations during COVID.

Gotta love when a "Zero Debt" company like the Ramsey show who promotes getting rid of subscriptions- promotes a subscription to "Delete Me"! 🤣🤔😪 ... then George goes on to fake talk about how Wonderful it is...Here and on his own channel! FYI- as Sponsor he gets it FREE.
Ramsey doesn’t prompt getting rid of subscriptions…they promote budgeting for them. Within that some vein, they also promote managing your money well, which a company like Delete Me assists with. Good try though. Go have a snack

On the flip side it steals the generosity when people expect things. There is definitely a line to tow.
I can't be the only one that loved watching Rachel try so hard to keep it together. xD

"We can't afford that." -> "That's not a priority for me."
I mean. Not always. Depends on what it is. There have been times in life where I really couldn’t afford it.
My answer was, "We don't choose to spend money on this." The answer is about controlling money, not shortage.

"One of the three entree meals is for a friend"
No one, not even the Panda Express cashier believes me though 😅
When you add lemons to milk it creates curd
I learned that the hard way when I was 5. Thought it would be a good combo.. haven’t drank a glass of milk since that day.

I actually did get my student loans forgiven just two months ago! But I never put off paying anything on the hope they would.

Creamy lemonade reminds me of a frosted lemonade from Chick fil A. I make a tea version of it in the winter. I like it a lot.
George was judging Rachel with that face hahahah he was like “wow, Rachel is a flat out liar” noting not to belief her 😂😂
Ive helped several people move. I never mind but you better be ready to go!! Stuff in boxes.
This is actually a Brazilian drink called Swiss lemonade and Brazilians love it
Man. You can these episodes are way behind. Rachel cut her hair awhile ago (looks great too) but her hair is still long here!!
Should have used limes like a Brazilian limeade. Those are fire

She should've made Brazillian lemonade and called it a mocktail 😂
