Enermax's AIO Gunk Problem: Liqtech TR4 Cooler After 18 Months

Viewers told us that Enermax's Liqtech TR4 Threadripper cooler is developing gunk and algae after long-term use, so we took ours apart to investigate.

The Enermax Liqtech TR4 seems to have an issue with the gasket deteriorating, causing gunk build-up in the microfins of the coldplate. Some coolers have gotten significantly hotter and can even start overheating on the Threadripper systems, which is why we're disassembling these and cleaning them. If you follow this video, you should be able to clean your AIO / closed-loop liquid cooler and put it back in service.
