Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo 2020 OnBoard, Warm Up & Sound at Monza Circuit!

- With this video you can jump on board the Krypton Motorsport's Mercedes-AMG GT3 driven by Stefano Pezzucchi, race driver and Krypton team principal, during the 3rd round of the Campionato Italiano GT Sprint (Italian GT Spring Championship) at Monza Circuit. This is not the first time I put my GoPro when Stefano is behind the wheel and you probably remember his ultraviolet Porsche 991 GT3 RS Mk1 in action at both Misano and Monza race tracks. So glad to have had this opportunity recording one of the AMG GT3 cars featuring the new 'Evo 2020' kit, recognizable by the different front, due to the bigger and angry mouth, and rear with a new diffuser and side openings. Headlights have been upgraded to the current style of the AMG GT road car too.
I put my GoPro during the second free practice session (actually the first dry one of the day) but I didn't manage to get much footage due to a long red flag period happened at the beginning of the session which forced Stefano to do only 5 laps. Being out on track, I didn't manage to turn off my GoPro so when the session restarted, the Hero 4 had already run out of battery and therefore it didn't capture better laps. External footage is from the humid FP1 (first chicane) and FP2 (Ascari corner).

I usually don't care about design when it comes to racecars (they just have to be fast and functional), but AMG GT3 Evo looks amazing from the front, especially in green!

@@albert_gyorgy I know this one is of MR layout but the point is they don't make various MR super cars and hypercars like what Ferrari does. Not only that, Mercedes-AMG One is the only MR car made by Mercedes and it's too expensive to afford. 👌

The Mercedes GT3 V8 sounds just like the Sauber Mercedes C9, even though the C9 had a twin turbo setup and the GT3 is a N/A motor.

Great video. The AMG GT3 Evo is just a beast. Love that shade of green too. I like hearing the car dance across the curbs through Ascari on that external shot.

Gotta love the M159, that V8 deep rumble. It is so coooool. Also love the exterior. I mean, this car have everybody’s respect, It is like mean machine or something like that, looks so agressive and combination with the sound, it really gives me goosebumps. It's really amazing how the view (inside and outside), the sound and the behavior of the car matches my sim game Assetto Corsa Competizione.
I would love to know how heavy the steering is (looks light) to match my Force Feedback steering (which gets real on track data).
Also, how hard do you feel the bumps in the seat so I could match that with my full motion rig.
Maybe some professional driver has time to visit me at home, I live next to the Nordschleife guys :-)
