Great looking Beaver and the sound is...I am speechless. I am from Northern California, I got out, but CalFire tanker base with C54’s B17’s and C119’s, I love the sound of a round engine. I took off behind those big birds a few times, never taxi through red puddles, learned that, I could hear those thing inside our Arrow as I followed them climbing out. I love round engines.
I've read several comments from some of the "Keyboard Experts" I'm sure you've been plagued with, I've had employees like them in the past. If you could buy them for what they're worth and sell them for what they think they're worth, nothing else needs to be said, lol. Thank's again for sharing.
I love the way the pilot was so considerate of the engine. Never went to full throttle all the way through the take off. Obviously respecting the age and cost of an engine rebuilt if he wrecked it.
Took this exact same fly around couple of years ago; loved it. Plane is awesome, pilot was great (not this guy though another one) scenery is amazing and from up above so much better. Another check off my bucket list. Thanks for sharing.
I can see me down there on the lake in a boat or just casting off from one of the pontoons and bringing in a 3-5 pound largemouth, wow that would be so nice. A Beautiful airplane that DeHavilland Beaver. I've always wanted to fly in one but the opportunity hasn't presented itself to me. Thank's for sharing this beautiful scenery and the aircraft ride, I enjoyed it, enough to leave a thumbs up, a click on the bell, and a subscription, I hope to see more of your work (play).
Talk about vibration . I was passenger in a Beaver twice and my eye balls were vibrating and all the rivet heads were vibrating and a sound better than a Harley. On takeoff all the loose pennies and garbage on the floor rolled by and went to the rear of the plane . These things were run so much that there weren't really cleaned of fod between each flight especially when operated by mining companies .
The pilot should revisite the operation manual for better starting procedure. And a safe operation learned at Trans-Provincial Airline in Price Rupert, Canada, operating most of the time over the ocean, was to maintain take-off power until reaching 85 mph in case of a sudden and complete loss of power. It is the best way to maintain at least some control if you do not have any power. This will help you land the plane instead of crashing it. The engine is built to give you such power for such period of time and he is less loaded with less pitch and more RPM. Think about it... Also avoid banking the plane after take-off without reaching a very safe speed. Have a safe flight.

It's a Pratt & Whitney 450 hp radial engine. That's what they sound like, and it's a beautiful sound. Not only beautiful, but bullet proof too. If ya don't like it, FUCK OFF
Was there a couple weeks ago and took some photos of this DHC-2. What a beauty!
Thanks for a pleasant trip in The Worlds BEST Bushplane ever 👍🌷❤

Magnificent. I always wanted to ride the one in Coeur d Alene, and never imagined how that AC would end

Why do some Beavers have 3 blade props ???
Three blade props are a little smoother....or so I have read anyway.
Fantastic.
Очень классно 👍👏🙌 почему на этот сомалёт не поставить 3 винт и скорость будет больше и эканомия топливо будет
