Wayne Shorter: Schizophrenia (Tone Poet) Live Review

Schizophrenia is the eleventh album by Wayne Shorter, recorded on 10 March 1967 at Van Gelder Studios, and released on the Blue Note label in May 1969, his 8th for the label. It was a transitional album for him. He is joined by Curtis Fuller, James Spaulding, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Joe Chambers. This stereo Tone Poet Vinyl Edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray (Cohearent Audio) from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at Record Technology Inc. (RTI), and packaged in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket.
