    Hey Joe, good to see someone still waving the Free Jazz flag.I just watched a Nam June Paik documentary, it features a cameo appearance by Peter Brotzmann, he had connections to the Fluxus art scene. Charlie Mariano played on ''The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady'' by Mingus. He moved to Europe in the early 1970's, he played with a vast array of characters, among them, the Krautrock band, Embryo. I discovered Edward Vesala many years ago, he played on Tomasz Stanko's ''Balladyna'' album on the ECM label.

      @@michaelvalentini4869 great information, thanks Michael! I have that Tomasz Stanko album and didn’t realize he played on it until recently. Glad you’re enjoying the free jazz, it’s definitely become my main collecting interest. So much to explore, especially in terms of European sessions! Thanks for watching!
