Hey Joe, good to see someone still waving the Free Jazz flag.I just watched a Nam June Paik documentary, it features a cameo appearance by Peter Brotzmann, he had connections to the Fluxus art scene. Charlie Mariano played on ''The Black Saint And The Sinner Lady'' by Mingus. He moved to Europe in the early 1970's, he played with a vast array of characters, among them, the Krautrock band, Embryo. I discovered Edward Vesala many years ago, he played on Tomasz Stanko's ''Balladyna'' album on the ECM label.
