One thing I love about decked out is how exciting it is to check out the channels of hermits I’ve never watched before!! Sooo glad I came here, you are amazing + I love your commentary so so much
Right? This season I've predominantly watched Tango, but now that his magnum opus is open it's so fun to watch everyone else play it!
@@monatae9725 yeah!! For me it was gem -> grian/scar -> tango -> etho/hypno, it has been so so fun. I love how all the hermits are so enthusiastic about supporting each other, lots of good vibes hehe

Mumbo and Grian (before S6) --> Scar, Iskall, and Impulse (and Tango but only his modded videos) --> Tango and Doc and X --> Bdubs and Joe (tho i dont watch him)
S9 introduced me to Beef, Jevin and Hypno. So many projects this season that get so many hermits
Same here! I never watched Hypno before but I am LOVING his decked out runs and he's so funny. Definitely going to check out his other videos when this is over!
Mine was grian mantion then every one grian interacted with but his is my first hypno video
It cracks me up that every time Hypno opened a window or door, a trident struck the wall next to his head.

You and the other hermits should make a treasure box hidden from tango on the ship, bend the rules a little bit. Mostly fill it, maybe use it, a coin here, a key there

For the most saturation, you should eat a suspicious stew crafted with a dandelion or blue orchid. it gives 21.2 saturation, compared to the 12.8 of a porkchop or the 14.4 of a golden carrot
If you really want to tryhard just chug like 8 chorus fruit
That probably wouldn't end well considering how much of the citadel is empty space, A better choice would be honey bottles since they can alos be consumed while at full hunger, however a dandelion suspicious stew gives more than the max saturation so it doesn't make much difference either way@@SidOfThe7Cs

You can also just eat two porkchops if you drain your hunger down by at least 4.5 haunches first
I had no idea "The Thing" was the technical term for the iron trapdoor hazard bridge. Hypno has some seriously impressive game knowledge! He's definitely in the running to be the top player.
Sorry I'm bad at reading tones, but is The Thing actually the technical term, or was he making a joke when he said that? English isn't my first language so I didn't quite get it lol

Hypno is the most Cracked Decked Out player right now. No wonder he break Tango everytime.
Instead of using berry bush to get saturation by porkchop, you have the option of chugging honey bottle at full saturation. You own the honey shop so no problemo for you.
I swear, Hypno does the best runs. Not only does he narrate and explain as he goes through, but the text edited in gives even more insight into the dungeon, the thought process, and details that might otherwise get overlooked. Cracked at the craft for SURE and soon to be blitzing Decked Out every run too.
Man, Hypno is a beast at this game. Etho'd better watch out...

He certainly is, it'll be interesting to see how Etho's crown-heavy strategy to buy more shards stacks up against the deeper runs and extra 5 shards of Hypno

@@Hex... the thing is, if Etho does achieve 8-10 crowns a run. He can get infinite tomes. Ya his deck won't get much more powerful per say. but he'll be able to buy infinite Victory Tomes given enough time.
Right i was thinking that might have to change my pick about who wins Etho has to step it up also if i was Hypno i would have left the crowns for a later run where i can make it out with them to bad he forgot about the artifact
I am very glad you decided to spend all that time exploring level 2, that was so cool. There's a lot of awesome stuff down there. Grian's golem lab, Bdubs' boat, and I hadn't seen that baby ravager nest before but that's adorable. Also those were some truly incomparable dodging skills there.

@@keenan4536 I caught it live on Twitch, but I'm not too sure if Hypno uploads vods anywhere. However, I do believe that he should upload it on RUclips within the next two episodes.
Some spoilers, but he was genuinely at like 3 or 4 hearts, whilst still stuck at a dripstone lava section in level 2. Yet, he was not only able to make it out with 1.5 hearts to spare, he was as cool as a cucumber and even managed to find exploits in Tango's parkour traps.
The entire last five minutes I was on the EDGE of my seat, absolutely insane. Those poor ravager’s ankles!!
6:47 that is something Tango added recently. He had heard many worries that someone could get incredibly unlucky and just not find a key, and he’s always trying to find new ways to give players who use jump boost cards an advantage. You’ll get a guaranteed key if you get up there, but you have to have jump boost to get up there.
I honestly hate that key inclusion because Jump Boost, as currently designed, is just a bad card. It plays and you get 2 minutes of Jump Boost, but because you have no control of it, you can easily have the card be completely wasted. The best time for Jump Boodt to activate is either right there at the beginning to get the key and go further down, or late in the game when Hazard becomes a bigger issue. If Jump Boodt were changed to something like, a permanent card and every 2 card draws, Jump Boost gers activated foe 15 seconds or something, it would be really good because you could actually count on when it's going to trigger.
@@TelsMavistonCompletely agree with your suggestion, however I don't think Bounding Strides is a bad card. It just needs some improvement.

It really does seem like tango ramped the difficulty up of each floor way too quickly, especially that triple ravager placement.
Aghhhh If I was hypno I would have definitely left the 10 crowns.... and come back on the very next run for them! It hurt my soul to see them lost
Does anyone know if Tango was streaming Hypno’s last run in this video because I would love to see how he dodged those ravagers from Tango’s point of view.

If you lower your hunger enough so that you can eat two porkchops in one go then you will have full 20 saturation instead of the 12.8 you get from one. Very min-max i know, but in lower levels it could make the difference.
Do honey bottles top that maybe? since you can consume even at full hunger
@@BuriedDutchman According to the wiki, it does restore 1.2 saturation per bottle, so it should work. There are other solutions too with potions. I'm not sure what is the fastest or easiest way to do it.
You can eat chorus fruit at full hunger and gain saturation

Can't eat it in Decked Out though, since you'll be teleported into the redstone/outside the starting area.

Suspicious stew made from dandelions (and I think sunflowers?) gives the saturation potion effect, filling up your saturation all the way
Sus-stew made with blue orchid or dandelion gives 21 saturation. Golden Carrot only gives 14.
Remember to check the golden pressure plates puzzle if you get the chance! (if you didn't already)
Nice, the dungeon received updates. Nothing better than dynamic dungeons to keep it fresh and challenging.
protip - eating a suspicious stew with the saturation effect is significantly better than any other food you could bring to start the run, even golden carrots ;)

You have to be one if not the most skilled DO2 player Ive watched!! So strategic, knowing how to work around the beasts and paying attention to the map, sounds and secrets, also pulling off some amazing parkour and dodging moments even if unintentional! Im loving binging your episodes:D❤

Hypno has the most map knowledge. It’s pretty crazy that you’re already running hard mode still in Week 1 man. Tango’s gonna have to get his butt in gear and get level four BUILT!

I started watching your videos after watching you live during Tango's first stream. Man, your parkour skills are IMPRESSIVE. Look out Etho, here comes Hypno. Also, I'm really enjoying these videos, so yes, I did subscribe. Can't wait for the next one.
I haven't been catching up with hermitcraft this season for awhile but came back for Decked Out. This is my first time watching hypno (I'm usually on Beef's/Impulse's POV) and I'm very very glad I came over here! These Decked Out runs have been so exciting to watch and I can't wait to see hypno conquer Level 3 as well! Very grateful that we're getting so much Decked Out content to feed my addiction and also for me to live vicariously through these videos ; ;

that last run, no matter how many times I watch that either live, vod, or video.... mann..... such a good run. Just unfortunate that skadoodles got you. Skadoodle has been a real menace on other hermits as well

Hello! I'm loving your runs! All this decked out is really making me explore other hermits!
Thought occurred to me during run 11 on the ship. Is there anything preventing stashing crowns in a barrel on runs you know you probably won't make it out?
Edit: Assuming another Hermit doesn't find them first of course, risk you'd have to take.
Hypno gets so far and he's not even trying, he's exploring! He's cracked! I have hopes that maybe hypno will try and conquer some of the other games around the server, too!

The special golden room was basically a scientists workshop trying to create a golem. Kinda like Frankenstein. It was built by grian

You're not allowed to store anything in chests during a run to try and retrieve it for another. Because of limitations, Tango put the crowns in the barrel. If you left them, it would've been like saving them for later. It was the right decision for you to have tried escaping with them.

feels like Tango overcorrected floor 2 with the amount of ravagers, you were cornered from 4 directions in such a small area, and way too many dead ends, but that could be hazard ofc.
I bet the Rusty repair kit is for use in Grian's iron golem room! Because Tango used to make Iron Golems and name them Rusty.

Slowly catching up on videos as i was behind even before decked out was released, and i finally get to see the jevin egg run! It was the first stream of yours i tuned into, and i just missed said run lol, tuning in about just after
Is it possible to submit 2 artifacts at the end of the run? If a hermit could store extra frost embers/artifacts in one of those random chests/barrels on level 1, could they go back for them during another run in order to gain extra frost embers to buy expensive cards at the end of the run?
I have idea, a sneaky strategy how about when you feel you won't survive, or when u get coin below 4, you just stash the item somewhere in a random chest, next run you take it

I'm pretty sure you've found wells egg inside the ship but im not sure cause you looked at it 2 or 3 times for more than 1 sec and still you never said anything about it, so maybe its my imagination
I may be working on old information, but wasn't honey supposed to be a good way to restore saturation? Like even if you're at full health you were supposed to be able to down a couple of honey bottles as a top off.
