      i mean, if he can get all the sand he needs with 5 people in about 1 hour, the total grind would be 5 hours solo - i dont think that would justify duping at all. there are tons and tons of hours spend gathering materials every episode by every other hermit as well ;)

    • @SnyperMK2000JclL
      @SnyperMK2000JclL Год назад +10

      @@nilius90I think the biggest thing is that sand is used a LOT, especially by the hermits, in recipes like sandstone, glass and concrete, and even tnt and yet here we are with he game bring over a Decade old and Sand is still finite and unrenewable. Meanwhile a TON of other finite items have been made renewable in some form that can be easily farmed such as redstone, quartz, gravel, blackstone, etc etc. If you want Sand or sand related products you need to go destroy a desert in your world which kind of sucks. Think about Season 7 and Cubs Pyramid, that required a ton of sandstone stairs and other sandy bits and while he set up in a desert he still had to go destroy a massive portion of the community "mining desert" which again kind of sucks especially when it's far away, not huge and/or already mined if on multiplayer.

    • @mozeytown

      It's because the block they need to throw it on has snow layers stacked slightly higher than the blocks around it, so unlike most compass locations, throwing it _toward_ the block (or even curling in Scar's case) won't work, as it will hit the edge of the snow layers and stop or bounce off. It has to be thrown _directly_ onto the block while standing on top of it, something most of the hermits don't generally do with their compasses.

He never runs out of energy. I wasn't thinking 'grandma wallpaper' specifically but it equates to the same thing lol I was thinking it looks like that border wallpaper that i would absolutely remove first day after buying a house (That probably was a grandmas house lol)

    I'm thinking of a song for Doc's dungeon runs. The hook is "Goat, Goat, Goat of the dungeon. Watch out for that grate" (to the tune of George of the jungle!) :D

    Don't worry about taking the artifact every time causing issues. Tango made 5 stacks of every artifake he doesn't even pick them back up they rot if you don't take them.

    Compass school is just a meme at the point of your last video. Scar was not able to find that one spot that you were stuck at too. And Tango said to him that he needed to go to compass school. 😅 when scar got good there was talk of him starting that school.

    Re: "a tapestry that some grandma would use"
    There is no grind more noble than that of a grandma or grandma-themed individual weaving a tapestry, bonus metal points if the tools are carved from bone.
    (I will never give up my bone crochet hooks, they're the best. With them I made a skull-motif coaster for my office mug while watching your last video!)

    Most Americans just aren't used to upper wall borders anymore. Ignore their lack of historic, and international knowledge. It looks cool, Doc. Reminds me of the detailed Eastern European wallpaper borders, or manor house/Asian wood detailing since it's done in relief.

    Maybe if you add some floral patterns underneath...or some yellow and white stripes.
    I'm sure that will stop it looking like grandma wallpaper.
