  • It was a difficult decision to go for USMLE, and hopefully this helps someone still making that decision.
    I had experience of MBBS at AIIMS Delhi and of resident in Neurosurgical residency at AIIMS and now a resident doctor in the USA.. Bhavik has fresh experience of MBBS at AIIMS and rotations in the USA.

    Can you make more videos with Bhavik.. Like why did he decide for usmle rather than neet pg, how was his mbbs life in aiims delhi, I have heard that he did many research while in aiims so how did he do that and on what topics, what are his future plans and all.. Please🙏

      possible but they prefer their students first. even if u pass all steps with merit, they still prefer US citizens first

      PLAB is better in my opinion, USMLE didn't give u a guarantee whether u can work with them or not even if u have better clinical test scores, they don't prefer it. but PLAB only cares about merit

      The fees is Zero, we get salary in training which comes every 2 weeks

    Lol me too from SAJS ,proof - manju rana principal and rajiv sir as sports teacher beating people with fkin baseball bats. Anyways I've talked to bhavik a lot in 9th and 10th class on how to build a pc 😂 although i never got to do that 😂. Nice guy but then he left to pursue neet. Nice podcast.

      No loans if you go for post-graduation , you get salary

    Great discussion, I read about you i.e. the neurosurgeon from AIIMS who is pursuing USMLE.
    I am preparing for my Step 2, gave Step 1 a month ago, I want to match in psychiatry.
    As of now, I don't have much work experience, no research & I am from a peripheral medical college (Dr SNMC Jodhpur)
    There are hardly a few seniors / juniors who are in the US, there is no such thing as a SNMCian family in the US.
    What advice / resources would you recommend so as to make this process a bit less daunting & lonely ?
