That's very true. A 21-year-old like me can really learn from this about what life is and how to deal with success and failure on a professional and personal level.

Loved the conversation between two of you. Ranbir has a maturity that's rare in star kids. He understands life, has zen like aura and has such clear understanding of what he wants from life. Nikhil talking about his father's demise and sequence of events took me away and Ranbir listening and asking questions about it. Too Genuine and transparent, lovely podcast!
Enjoyed too much . The best part was Ranbir wasn't just answering but equally asking questions and was interested in Nikhil's life too . Rather than being treated as a Big film guy it was more of a friendship conversation
I am Ranbir's fan since forever . I have seen in all his interviews that he is a very humble man who is very well raised and knows how to talk and listen to people with utmost attention . Of course he is an amazing actor but I have always felt he should be more appreciated for his kindness and empathy toward other people . God bless him ♥️
The great quality about Ranbir is he is genuinely interested in other people. Just look at him in this interview, he is actually interested in Nikhil and his experiences. No wonder he is the best actor of our era🔥
While Ranbir’s interest in others is a positive trait and can contribute to his overall persona and relationships, it doesn't directly explain why he is considered a great actor. Acting skill is typically evaluated based on performance, versatility, and emotional depth in roles, rather than personal qualities like curiosity or interest in others.
@OffersAlone Ya but I think the characters that actors portray on screen are already present in our society if u observe or listen to a person u can learn a lot about his character and since he is an actor it really shows in his movies ( idk if I just made sense or not if I'm wrong let me know)
@@AlBICIDI No I disagree. Even Imtiaz said the same on The Ranveer Show that your acting skills are directly proportional to how keen observer you are and how interested you are in each human being. He further said that Ranbir is a great actor & one of the reason is that he is genuinely interested in each person he meets. He tries to understand their personality, their mindset & their set of experiences. This helps him catch on new emotions which he can portray on screen. I agree with what Imtiaz said & I saw the same thing he said about Ranbir on this episode.
I felt Ranbir talks so sensibly, he is deep, feels intensely, he is amazing, never thought he could be this cool or must be having so many thoughts etc. Can't wait for his essentials brand to come up!

Hands down The best Indian mainstream podcast episode! This isn't an interview. Its a proper podcast wherein both Nikhil and Ranbir switch roles to ask difficult questions and most answers feel honest and heartfelt.
Nikhil and Ranbir are dealing with same issues quite differently. Nikhil has logical and sophisticated approach while Ranbir is artistic and simple. Both are right.
Both are right only because both are successful!!! I’m sure you and me could relate to so many aspects of this conversation but we are not right Cx we are not successful.

As an aspiring psychologist and student of Masters of psychology , I am proud of Nikhil and Ranbir for speaking so openly about delicate moments of their life , also I am from Chembur where RK studio is located , so I am biased Ranbir Kapoor Fan
OMG how calm both of them are. the dept they went into during the converation and the level of respect they had for each other about the life they both have, clearly amazing!
One of those rare interviews where the interviewer and the guest switch roles back and forth, while never missing a beat. I have criticized Nikhil before but I have nothing but admiration for the man this time. His honesty and vulnerability feels genuine. And Ranbir proves that formal education (or the lack of it) is not a measure of intelligence. Through his thoughtful responses you see a bright, curious and sensitive individual emerge. No doubt he continues to be among Indias most interesting actors.
Ranbir talked about his mental health and trauma and media click baited it to a bad thing. This is why Men never open up about their feelings. Now I understand why people use PR curated interviews. Hats of rk for being real
If he put case on media all issue could resolve it media take all advantage of barking on him and highlight his for trp he kept silent that’s why everyone bark on him and kat and dp pr is horrible kat pr won’t leaving Vicky too she won’t act she won’t let other good actors shine what a fake feminist Bollywood has they need come and see Tollywood how actors wife are

Ranbir for me came across as Casanova all the time till this interview happened. His deapt of understanding the life is so deep. The entire conversation is like learning how to live the life. It reminds me a popular book आहे मनोहर तरीही in Marathi by Sunita Deshpande on her life and her companion a great personality P L Deshpande. That book is like Geeta to me. And now this dialogue between these two evolved souls is equivalent of that.
Absolutely loved this interview. Ranbir is not only a fantastic actor but such a humble, likeable human being. Love him even more after this interview ❤
One thing I noticed is that Ranbir may not have been great academically but he possesses some weird kind of creative intelligence or insight which helps him analyse real life problems and people. After 48 minutes you will notice that he totally switched the roles in the podcast. He can be a big podcaster too, the guy is real unlike people who just say things to impress others or exhibit a fake liking towards spirituality. He seems to be genuinely interested in spirituality not to earn money from it or to impress anyone else or because it's trending. Having said that, I feel he should not step into the world of social media and keep things private.
Many people in Bollywood says Ranbir is serious and i agreed with them after looking this podcast . Never seen Ranbir open so much 😊❤ Nikhil have really put him in comfort 👏

The way Ranbir addressed the men's mental health question, tells us a lot about his character. It tells us that his view is simple, both the genders have their own set of problems. This is exactly the opinion I have, we have equal problems, just that they are different.
It was very heartwarming to see Ranbir opening up so much with Nikhil,With the absolutely real host he is. Connected in the real person talk and was relatable too. Good to see such interviews where the intention is not only just to promote a film

I think you are reading too much into it. Ranbir is comfortable from the start. Just watch the interview and enjoy. Don't judge.
Yeah he does seem nervous in the beginning. Then his body language opens up as he gets more confident asking the host about his life and beliefs. Endearing men :)
Loved the conversation between two of you. Ranbir has a maturity that's rare in star kids. He understands life, has zen like aura and has such clear understanding of what he wants from life. He seems to be sorted for life. He is in happy place. Alia and Raha brought so much love and peace to his life.
Both of them are so sorted and clear and articulate. Amazing in their own fields and intelligent as one can be.
Soft spoken and good listeners.
Loved it.
No sugar coating, just raw and honest. Just how it should be.
Its more 2 intelligent people talking about life, achievements, failures, insecurity. Its beautiful to hear them
Nikhil talking about his father's demise and sequence of events took me away and Ranbir listening and asking questions about it. Too Genuine and transparent, lovely podcast!
This is definitely the most Candid Ranbir has ever been in any interview. Soothing and understanding.
Loved it.❤
Enjoyed too much . The best part was Ranbir wasn't just answering but equally asking questions and was interested in Nikhil's life too . Rather than being treated as a Big film guy it was more of a friendship conversation
He's like this forever ❤😃 that's what make him different from others ! 😊😇
He is so real about his flaws, his experiences and his vulnerabilities. That is what makes his likeable. Love you Ranbir❤
I am Ranbir's fan since forever . I have seen in all his interviews that he is a very humble man who is very well raised and knows how to talk and listen to people with utmost attention . Of course he is an amazing actor but I have always felt he should be more appreciated for his kindness and empathy toward other people . God bless him ♥️
❤❤❤❤❤
Agree
Ranbir opening a window of his heart on public platform is a master stroke NK 👏
So true
2 grown up men talking about life as it is.. it's the best thing ever ❤
thanks Nikhil for making this..
I felt Ranbir talks so sensibly, he is deep, feels intensely, he is amazing, never thought he could be this cool or must be having so many thoughts etc. Can't wait for his essentials brand to come up!

Ranbir is a great guy. Always liked him as an actor but now like him even more as a person.
1:25:06 "u see the reason why I'm happy, is bcoz I don't mind what happens"
That's not happiness, that's satisfaction.
U being in a state of calmness not getting affected by what bad or good happens around u is Satisfaction.
That's what everyone should strive to achieve.
That's the philosophy of Bhagwat Geeta.
Truer words have never been said before!
Its not easy to be so honest and vulnerable about yourself. Ranbir Kapoor is a misunderstood human being. People will realise about his real side with the passage of time🔥
Chipika PR made him villain
@@optimisticguy-g3y And thats why Ranbir is good friends with Deepika. If you listen to Ranbir, he said that NOBODY knows what happended in those two relationships (with Deepika & Katrina) and he will not talk about it. The fatc that Deepika and Ranbir are great friends now shows which relationship he is talking about.
@@gayatrisrinivas6342 chipika in every interview in those days depression drama he cheated me bla bla bla... And at the same time she dated four five boys she told in coffee with karan feel for ranveer singh poor guy chipika always played woman card ( victim)
Yes they are professional that's why they are pretend to be friends but in reality Ranbir,s image damaged by chipika and her PR
@@optimisticguy-g3y You have a dirty and jealous mind. 1. First and foremost get out of your ignorant dehati (village illiterate) mindset. Depression IS A SERIOUS DISEASE. STOP calling names for the people suffering from this mental illness. If you do not know anything about this illness SHUT UP. 2. Listen to CAREFULLY to what Deepika said in that interview. And TRY TO COMPREHEND. What she said and did (dating Ranveer but not committed ) was being HONEST. She was NOT CHEATING because Ranveer Knew about it. This is HOW HONESTY works. For people liveing in metro cities and people belonging to certain socio-economic group, THIS IS COMMON. For most people it is not. It does not make it right or wrong.
@@gayatrisrinivas6342they are good friends but deepika also said bad things about him. Don't defend her okay. He is saying about deepika. Katrina never spoke anything about him. It was only deepika who made that relationship the entire thing. They must be good friends. But what's true is true. Deepika is not a saint. She had also many boyfriends.
What an absolute gem! Really loved it, it was focused on knowing each other rather than just following the script. Need more of these!
Couldn't let go of my screen on this one. Cried uncontrollably and felt it way too much when Nikhil talked about the guilt of not being there as a son even while living in the same city, while I am living abroad. True vulnerability shown by both the folks and really felt like I was there sitting with them. Loved the stoic nature of the conversation while addressing the human connection we all share.
Love Ranbir opening this way, so pure & genuine
Man Ranbir's gotta be one of the most genuine person ever. I can just listen him talk for hours and hours. I really wish Nikhil brings him more on his podcast. Much Love to Ranbir.
Look at ranbir totally differently. Grounded young man. Wish him the best
What a beautiful, soothing and therapeutic conversation. No loud tones, no fake laughs, no drama. Thank you Nikhil Kamath for doing this.
Although I don't agree with Nikhil in many aspects, but the way he interacted with Ranbir is so phenomenally incredible. I think he is the only one who pulled out the real Ranbir from superstar Ranbir Kapoor.
You don’t agree in what sense? Any specific thing he spoke about?
Yeah, this guy Nikhil is kind of a very reserved, private guy who thinks of himself as a very sophisticated guy, who don’t use basic WhatsApp and don’t answer calls. Never liked these kind of “full of themselves” people. Seriously.
o he actually manipulated this podcast and he actually clarified himself with all the accusations and didn't revealed himself too much whenever he thaught he we trapped he just moved towards the interviewer and asked him questions he is a genius mysterious creature
@@mohitparekh2551 Agreed .
He takes himself too seriously and thinks of him as a very sophisticated person.
I do love to gain knowledge from him but do not like his way of thinking.

When are no sponsors or paid podcasts this is the beauty that comes out
I don't think that's true
Nikhil Kamath doesn't need a sponsor i reckon😅
How sensible is this person...so calm love his aura RK❤
a whole 2 hours of Podcast 😭 nothing less than a movie, definitely a huge gift for all the Ranbir fans. Thanks Nikhil!
Most matured chilled open conversation I have ever watched from celebrities. The way ranbeer was so real. No filter in taking the names or events of his life. This brings his fans only more near to him❤
Hands down The best Indian mainstream podcast episode! This isn't an interview. Its a proper podcast wherein both Nikhil and Ranbir switch roles to ask difficult questions and most answers feel honest and heartfelt.
Really love this nikhil guy really mature well mannered and soft spoken man. Ranbir ofcourse is best like always
Nikhil and Ranbir are dealing with same issues quite differently. Nikhil has logical and sophisticated approach while Ranbir is artistic and simple. Both are right.
Felt both of them have more or less the same personality and values
Both are right only because both are successful!!! I’m sure you and me could relate to so many aspects of this conversation but we are not right Cx we are not successful.
very much true.. both their personalities are quite similar
@snehaa381 I don't think they are similar, just because they talk in the same manner

Pehli baar koi interview wo bhi itna lamba maine dekh daali aur sec bhar ke liye bhi bore nahi hui...just so good 😊 My childhood fav actor is Ranbeer kapoor...He is so kind and gentle man
I am a Polar bear from Antarctica and I love Nikhil's podcasts. Once my friend, from Pacific Ocean was watching this and since then I can't stop listening to it.

How is the weather there, heard that flowers are blooming 😂😂
I'm gonna go to hibernate while listening this 🎶😳
Ranbir has that royalty and charisma of a star. One of the best podcast. First time watched such long podcast.
Loved the way he is so honest about his father, didn't hesitate to tell the truth.
As an aspiring psychologist and student of Masters of psychology , I am proud of Nikhil and Ranbir for speaking so openly about delicate moments of their life , also I am from Chembur where RK studio is located , so I am biased Ranbir Kapoor Fan
Hello can u tell about myself
Nikhil managed to bring Ranbir bcoz he is very particular in terms of who he brings on the show
And Ranbir is all about exclusiveness❤
no it's only nikhil is a billionaire 😂😂
I don't think it's matter to Ranbir. He is their just because of his choice he always choose where to go in public for interview and all things.
Hatts off Ranbir and Nikhil....for the pure conversation...❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ranbir talked about his mental health and trauma and media click baited it to a bad thing. This is why Men never open up about their feelings. Now I understand why people use PR curated interviews. Hats of rk for being real
True that
If he put case on media all issue could resolve it media take all advantage of barking on him and highlight his for trp he kept silent that’s why everyone bark on him and kat and dp pr is horrible kat pr won’t leaving Vicky too she won’t act she won’t let other good actors shine what a fake feminist Bollywood has they need come and see Tollywood how actors wife are

Finally they really feel like buddies hanging out
This is one of the podcasts you can actually listen at a normal speed and people are not over excited & fake!
I remember in 2007 I was in 9th std and when sawariya released I had the newspaper cutouts on my tuition book and got beaten up by my teacher. Once a fan always a fan. Alhamdulillah now I'm married and coincidently I just stay 10mins away from your house and just happy for a fact that you are nearby😅 this interviews is all hearts. Thanks ranbir for showing up you.
He’s already a public person. A podcast will only help.
Many people in Bollywood says Ranbir is serious and i agreed with them after looking this podcast . Never seen Ranbir open so much 😊❤ Nikhil have really put him in comfort 👏
It’s so beautiful when your man speaks highly of you and appreciates you so dearly and passionately. Such an amazing bond.❤❤
I love to watch bits where famous people, show their vulnerabilities and you realize they are not very different from you, and this was exactly that. Thank you Nikhil and Ranbir for this great conversation. Loved it
Truely
The way Ranbir addressed the men's mental health question, tells us a lot about his character. It tells us that his view is simple, both the genders have their own set of problems. This is exactly the opinion I have, we have equal problems, just that they are different.
It was very heartwarming to see Ranbir opening up so much with Nikhil,With the absolutely real host he is.
Connected in the real person talk and was relatable too. Good to see such interviews where the intention is not only just to promote a film
