    He paid smith to tell the suicide tale. It was never a suicide plot, it was an attempt to get investigators to think the murderer/s of Paul and Maggie were still out there. He got found out and then changed his stotyy

      @@lucybowers5520 smith is a CI now in a Federal Rico case IMO for drug trafficking through Miami. This case is strong enough on evidence to convict in this case. The Feds are not going to share their strategy with the state when they’re is a large drug trafficking operation from SC to the tip of Florida . That much the prosecutor’s must know on a confidential need to know basis only .

    After stealing the insurance money owed to the son of the housekeeper, who 'tripped' and died, AM knew that the son was being evicted from his trailer home for lack of payment, and AM couldn't care less. AM had known the housekeeper and her family for 20 years.

    How could anyone in high profile jobs like Murdaugh hide a 20 year Oxycontin addiction? Utterly NONE of his coworkers said they saw any sign of it. Where did all the millions of dollars he stole go, he didn't eat it all. I don't think he was an addict at all, I think that was supposed to be his alibi.

No one had to know. Instead we're to believe he blew the heads off two of his family members to make everyone feel sorry for him and delay the inevitable reckoning about the financial crimes.     Something is off with this guy too. Also, after seeing the shell casings in relation to the bodies in the trial. That two types of guns used. It is plausible there was an actual second shooter and not Murdaugh framing it as such.
    Edit to add: Murdaugh seems highly calculating to just drop an assisted suicide on this guy. I think Murdaugh just wanted to get injured that day. Not die. To reinforce someone was trying to get at the family. He's one diabolical man. The only reason his embezzlement charade was foiled was because his idiot kid killed that girl and got people looking into his dealings.

      The police, they tried to say that young man found dead in the middle y the road was a hit and run, yet another cop( rookie,I think) saw that the dead guy clearly had his head bashed in with a club or bat or something and his theory was dismissed ignored and overlooked. ??? Again there's a connection with the Murdaughs even the dead man's mother feels something is terribly wrong with the investigation of her sons death.

      My nephew committed suicide in Florida 2021. His insurance paid out he had a suicide clause with his insurance. Also, paid because it was 2yrs after he got insurance and made premiums

    Interesting wanted to leave life insurance for his Son but stole life insurance money that was suppose to go to his Maids Son. Who mysteriously slipped and fell down the stairs at the Murdochs Residence. I have homeowners insurance but not a specific policy on anyone working at my residence.

      Error on my part they settled w a payout of $500,000. To Gloria Satterfields sons..the policy was 4 million that Alec and Corey F had taken...Eric Bland is bringing the case back into court.
