manuel castilla fernandez Actually It didnt in a way, If you played the game without watching the trailers, gameplays or teasers the game will be a 9/10 but If you did then it does kind of suck and goes down to 7.5/10. It really depends on your expectations
even if i hadnt watched the trailers... the game's story doesnt feel like halo. feels more like a 10 year old's fanfiction.

I hear you man. I had phantom menace syndrome after playing this game. I tricked myself into liking it but as time went on and I played through it again I just slowly started to accept that is was a poor follow up to Halo 4 and just the lowest point in the series
I bought it several months ago for the Multiplayer, its solid but yes its campaign isn't very good.

Coming back a decade later, I feel like Halo 5 was almost exactly what this piece symbolized right here. Pays tribute to the original but adds something new and different. Some loved it, some hated it. Me personally I thought Halo 5 was an overall great game and I'm a bigger Halo fan than 99% of the bandwagoners calling the story lame.
I actually don't have a fad with Halo 4 or even 5. Halo Infinite is great for me
As far as I remember, I've listened to O'Donnell's work for 10000 times. But I am very impressed about Kazuma. He did a perfect job to combine old and new halo music (and he probably even made the songs more exciting). I am a Halo fan since the first one came out and even a greater fan of the music. I am not dissappointed at all.

I'll say it: 117 from Halo 4's OST and this from Halo 5's are worthy of being up there with the other masterpieces in Halo's collection. Perfectly encapsulates the evolution in warfare and Chief's status among his peers as established in H4 and 5.

You'll find most 343i era Halo music videos are usually positive. Especially for Halo 4.

Yeah, you get a code if you played Halo MCC or Halo 5, or you can just win it in a timed event. The whole Halo cross-promotion thing is a little weird... not that I'm complaining!
Lol it makes driving so much more epic in Forza. Especially because I didn't realize it was Halo until it picked up in the middle and by then I was on my final lap in a race and it was getting really intense.

Well it was just that part of the game. Up until that point I felt like "eh, they seem to be trying to make me feel like i'm playing Halo still ... I'm not but, hey...." But then I heard this piece as I was like "HOLY FUCKING SHIT IM PLAYING FUCKING HALO FUCKING FIVE HOLY SHIT!!!! OMG FUCK!!!!" So yeah Kazuma Jinnouchi is awesome and made the game for me.
It felt absolutely epic I put on turtle beeches and max volume for that part thought I was in heaven

No disrespect to Neil Davidge, but Kazuma should have been the composer from the beginning of the new Reclaimer series. This guy nails it. Perfect successor to Marty O'Donnell.
R JAY MOLINA Yeah, Davidge wasn't bad, it's just that it wasn't the same feel/type of score. Davidge's score had a lot more of a modern feel.
I actually liked his rendition on "Forerunner Themes" because it sounded strange, weird, and new. His composition on the Human and Covenant was missing the classical motifs for me however.

So the story goes that Osiris, a guardian from the future has replaced Locke in Fireteam, coincidentally, Osiris and have completed many missions but after Buck dies, he becomes anti-social and goes back to the future where he starts an event called Trials of Osiris where he wants others to feel the pain of losing something so close to them

The story is quite complex by the looks of it and it hints to a really crazy sequel, go watch some hiddenxperia videos and you can see his theories about what's coming in the story, pretty crazy theories that make a lot of sense
I get what you're saying, but imo the Halo 5 story sucks butt. I believe it would have been amazing if they made it how they originally were going to, but then Microsoft forced them to rewrite it because of the reception of Halo 4.
Gustavo Tiavo I just want to ask because I'm curious and also new to Halo in general, but where was it said that Microsoft interfered? Is there like a link to a video or article of some kind? I'm not trying to argue with you, I just want to know because Halo 5 seems to get a lot of hate and I don't want this franchise to end. From the games I've played (Halo 3 and 5) it looks really interesting and fun to explore.

A really, really quality tune. This reminds me of the excitement for halo 5 that I felt during the beta and the months prior to release, it's a shame I was let down by the campaign among other things, but that doesn't diminish the great music that the game featured.
According to 343 the halo 6 story will be more focused on the characters and how they develop
The narrative was the only poor part about the game. Halo 5 does so many things right that it really brings back Halo. 343 are totally amazing at post-launch content and support, and the multiplayer is probably Halo's strongest since 3.

Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, but the fight was easily one of the worst parts of the stories.
Two super soldiers in armour that enhances their abilities even further, their training is the best humanity has to offer, can easily dispatch and kill enemies way stronger than they are in Hand-to-Hand combat - yet their fight was the equivalent of a toddler with no martial arts training fought at the speed of an oldman with a walker.
It was horrid.
I love how the snuck this into Forza, when I heard it I lost my shit because I saw they had a warthog and halo horns so I hoped they had a halo radio station but this was just as good, ya feel me?

Microsoft should have let 343 stick with the original story and campaign they were going to do, or at the very least gave them another year to develop the current halo 5 story so that it would have made sense and not disappoint fans.

I love how Jinnouchi manages to make the violins appear as a chorus of singers. He makes them chant and along with the undertones of the drums it makes a special reflection in the music.

For example in Halo 2 or 3 if you fell off the map in multiplayer it would say "INSERT NAME HERE has been killed by the Guardians" or if you went out of bounds in Halo reach for example and either the soft-kill/Hard-kill zone marker kills you it would say it as well.

Racing a Warthog in Horizon 4 has never been more epic
It's funny how I'm a big Halo fan without even playing Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach or even any of the reclaimed saga games. The only Halo games that I've ever played is just Halo CE and Halo 2 vista. But whatever it is, I still catch up with the latest news on the Halo franchise ever since I fell in love with Halo when I was young. I do read the lores and the books only because that's the only thing I'm afford to buy. I think that the whole franchise is a work of art.
Update: I've got my hands on about a year ago which is Halo MCC PC and also Halo Infinite on PC and holy s*it is this game so good. I love this franchise. The only game I haven't played now is Halo 5 and the rest of Halo Wars

I think the first mission has this incredible cinematic feeling to it, as the epicly composed music kicks in and (with H5 being my first halo game) running into these bad-ass-lookimg super-sci-fi crawlers. Such a vivid memory.

I can already see it now. Armies of Prometheans, banished, and a growing infestation of flood. Atriox battling with Warden Eternal. Master Chief and Blue team, Jerome and Red team, Locke with Osiris, and Arbiter with his squad of Elites. All of them fighting on Installation 04C with Cortana watching from her guardian and 343 arriving with his captured ship to reclaim HIS installation.
Halo 5 is not my favorite Halo, but i still enjoyed it. The story stunk, but I did enjoy the fast paced gameplay and this amazing soundtrack.

Both of them could actually work on Halo again at this point. Marty is a free agent and Joe actually works at Microsoft. Only issue is that Marty has been working on Golem for 100 years and Joe has been working on Crackdown for 100 years. Luckily, Halo Infinite still seems like it's a ways off so maybe there's hope.
