- I recently listened to Ka'rta Tor on my soundtrack playlist, and it occured to me to add it to the end of the other video. Now you have Vode An, Gra'tua Cuun, and Ka'rta Tor in one video. enjoy. as weird as it may seem, this IS three songs, not one long epic one.

When you realized Republic commando was the first SW project where clones painted their armor differently to identify themself and become unique, that inspired creators of the Clone Wars series.
That was actually Lucas' idea! So I wouldn't say they took inspiration from the game, more like the guy who pitched the idea for the game happened to be heavily involved in the series after it (as well as being, well, George Lucas)
Technically the clones were painted in Episode II, they used color schemes to identifiy ranks. They may not be doing it for personal customisation like Rex's or Fives' armor, but they did do it to identify each other.
@@Perseus7567 It's sort of like attempting to single out and identify one's self compared to everyone else which if you can catch it, the one's who'd do that most often were the clones that either were the oldest, or more specifically were a part of the 501st. I'm referencing clone wars in this case but the republic commando's at that time were the first one's to have distinct color schemes so you can recognize that clone under their mask. The ranking system was "changed" in a way towards episode 3 as clones had their rank's marked on their chest plate's in small black painting and later on their helmet.

There are no futuristic and past forms in the mandalorian grammar. There is only the present. Just as a true mandalorian warrior only plays for the present.

You have words to tell you past and futur time. Add prefix r' or Ru' (example: Ni r'epa = I ate) for past time and Ven' (Ni ven'epa = I will eat) for the futur tense. But you're right about present tense, when we speak in Mando'a, we use only present tense. The past and futur tense are use just for some situation.

If Scorch, supposedly the 'softest' (a term I use *very* loosely granted in regards to RC's) member of Delta, managed to catch nearly the entire Bad Batch off guard and singlehandedly nearly take them all on and needed five stun blasts to take down, imagine what would have happend if Sev, or Boss, or god help the Batch, if the rest of Delta were there?
Scorch is a combat veteran of the whole war. Add on to that he’s a republic commando. Delta squad would have fucked over the bad batch. Not sure if they’ve been in service since the beginning of the clone wars but Delta Squad as special operations working since the beginning of the war with distinguished service in
Geonosis, The Prosecutor and Kashyyyk would have absolutely destroyed them!

Probably the most humanizing game in the entire Star Wars franchise. You are not some demigod swinging around a blade of plasma, you are a soldier fighting, living and dying in the frontlines with your slave brothers.
I would say Battlefront is the most humanizing with the Order 66 and Kamino missions but Republic Commando is up there.

Used to be in a Warhammer 40k roleplay server on gmod a few years ago. Shit was so cool. I managed to get recruited into a space marine chapter after serving the Imperial Guard for a while. This song was one of the songs that constantly played in the background of the basecamp map (it was a huge overworld that had different base commands for all of the Imperium of Man forces. Its where we would do drills, training, briefing, debriefing ect.) Sometimes basecamp would get attacked by forces of chaos too. Anyway, this song ended up setting up a great tense atmosphere. I miss my battlebrothers.... I remember as a guardsmen, if you spoke out of order, or refused to step in line, automatic execution from your own squad mates via firing line. It was truly a fun experience.

I remember starting up Star Wars Republic Commando for the first time back somewhere in 2008 or 2009 and heard this song, and heard it many times. I also remember the great multiplayer times I had, I really enjoyed it. No hackers, no killcams, health regn or that overpowerd gun shit. No killstreak, no jetpack. Nothing like CoD or Star Wars Battlefront like.
This game is truley unique etc. I played it atleast 7 times. I also remember the singleplayer truley scared the shit out of me.

Ocean Of Games fuck yeah the multiplayer was great on pc!!! i had a really great time, so sad that the multiplayer was cancelled, i spent literally hours on this game
TheKillerGMBH you can find pretty decent sized groups of people who run there own servers on teamspeak, discord (though i wouldn’t recommend it), and just on there own websites online.

After i watched the movies i read some of the comics, with the neo crusader mandalorians, they always fascinated me!
To me, this is the best Star Wars game to ever exist ... Put Star Wars into the most serious & dark context you could ever ask for ... Really painted the severity of the situation for the Clone Wars.
This game featured one the most epic gaming moments ever. I'll never forget the final battle on the abandoned starship's command bridge. Hackin all those consoles while being constantly assaulted by droids. Fighting for our lives as a team. Damn that was good...
Ah my fav moment in the game tho, the music blas off while we defend out life.
Then we get to see the beautiful sight of the destruction of Lucrehulk

@Nile McDonald yeah I think Sev would have been cooler but maybe their is reason why he is not appearing. I could imagine that Dave is adapting the legends lore of Delta squad or some part of it to actual cannon so this means he would be missing in action but don't take my word I am just speculating
@@sidneyschnyder01 because Sev got taken at the end of the game so he's missing in action, I think it was to show how much the chips affect the clones personality, since he never makes any jokes. Otherwise they could've shown Boss

@@KillerOrca The only real way you could argue they contradict the Clone Wars is if we take into account the Mandalore described in the RC Karen Traviss novels. In those novels Mandalore is described basically as a harsh jungle. My head-canon is that there are two “Mandalores”. The one we see in TCW which is ruled by Clan Kryze and what I like to call “Mandalore Prime” which is just the original Mandalore.
@@fdsajfldaskjf But Mandalore doesnt show up in the game at all. The events of Republic Commando, the game, dont directly clash with any existing canon events.
Mostly since Deltas doin stuff in the background away from any main characters and during sections of the Clone Wars where stuff isnt happening.
The books are an entirely different story, but your headcanon handles that just fine.
@@KillerOrca My headcanon is more just to explain the Mandalore in the books. I also use a similar explanation for Malachor (From Rebels) and Malachor V with both simply being two planets in the same system. Both were destroyed in separate incidents. Malachor V obviously being destroyed at the end of KOTOR II.

The best star wars game ever made change my mind. It had a grittyness that others lack and just badass also had a squad dynamic simular to area 51 but it was so much better you actually felt like they were your brothers in arms
