How To Clean the Sand in Mbuna Fish Tank | Plecostomus at work

My Pleco doing the most just after a feed. It has been going back and forth cleaning the sand of any food residues. This is the time it gets really active otherwise it can lay still for hours. I have not had to clean out my sand as these workers do it consistently. Great ecosystem.
Plecostomus or Sucker mouth are a catfish that thrive on algae. I have one large one, Placko and two small ones. They’re always busy cleaning up the algae.

Fun part in the video where the Pearl is throwing sand over the Pleco at 1:55. I always find my Pleco covered in sand and wonder why.😂
