You want to know something Warren ... I'm from New Zealand and it's the same here. People are climbing all over other people, there are so many nationalities and they don't blend well together. It's become a sad world. Your vids are wholesome and a great way to escape the woes.
When I was 8 years old my late father was on the board of directors of XTRA INC piggy back trailers. and Cummins Inc. A rose is a rose by any other name. Hello from the rocky coast of Maine, US. Oct. 1, 2024.
When you call out some of the problems in society today, you sound just like me and I live in the UK. I think the respect for people aspect might be an age thing. You’re at age when you look down on people rather than look up to them. Keep the soap box monologue coming Warren, it makes me feel more normal!
You must be the hardest working mechanic on the planet. I don't know how you keep it up ! Incidentally, life in the UK is changing beyond belief. Multiculturism is partly to blame. Many of the recent immigrants are here for what they can get, they don't seem to care about the country.
Great Video Warren. Australia has gone down the same path. Very few you can trust these days. It’s not the same place I grew up in that’s for sure. 👍🇦🇺
Warren is 100% right in his observations. 50 years ago, everyone looked after each other and cared. Over the last 30 years people keep themselves to themselves and become insular. Then we have cultural changes, no integration , different cultures. We are in deep shit and it will get worse. I think its deliberate and engineered to cause unrest. The USA and UK are facing the same issues.
I think one of the under appreciated issues with another depression is that the population at the time of the last one was primarily agriculture based. Today the majority of the population thinks food comes from the store. My father said even though they had no money the had food on the table and a roof over their heads. My grandmother never turned away a person looking for a meal even though they were as poor as their neighbors.
I'm in Saskatchewan Canada it's the same here Gov is subsidizing employers who will hire immigrants white folk can't get hired anymore . The whole world is going to doo doo .awsome commentary Warren keep up the great work . Thx for all that you do .
Hey Warren, great work on the truck. I’m sure the guy that owns it wants to get it back on the road. He going to have to pay your bill!! Haha. Thanks much for the video. Stay safe.
Hi Warren 😃, nice job getting the log truck running, those forest roads are real tough on trucks. And your right on the money whith the state of affairs, it's last man out turn the light off, but he's already gone, as he went he muttered something about lunatics taking over the asylum ,lol. Cheers mate, stay safe, best wishe's to you and your's, and the doggies. Stuart Uk.
Warren, I've never commented before, fantastic videos! We have a fleet of 579's that techs keep hooking up battery cables wrong. 2 charge cables going to batteries. They hook both charge cables to frame side batteries, or mess up cross-over cables between batteries. Alternator is good, but outside batteries won't get charge, eventually kicking on low voltage warning, then cab goes dead. Frame side set of 2 batteries will have full charge. Outside almost dead, low cranking r.p.m.'s, then no-start.
Teach them to check voltage at the batteries with a DMM. (A "tech" should already know but...). Then tell them if they can't complete this basic task they should go work elsewhere.
@@CJRock-xn5qf We have, still happens with Dealer & some road techs in a hurry. Did it myself once. Starts losing cab accessories, lvw, lvd, then no crank. Was just wondering if Warren"s issue could be this from someone else changing batteries or cleaning terminals. Dash voltage display will be low as well.
I Always take a picture of the battery connections before I disconnect anything. Prevents that, same thing with red and blue air hoses. You'd be amazed at how many times I've had to do rework after other "techs" and I'm only a tire guy. Way too smart for what I'm paid...
@@henrydillard6217 esp. any battery installations nowadays!! seen a tech replace 4 batteries in a T880, he didn't realize he only hooked up one set of batteries, not both! 2 years later until the batteries die again.
One time I was replacing a head gasket on a small kubota tractor. As I was standing on both front wheels trying to guide the cylinder head down gently the power went out. Of course it was winter and the shop had no windows. Was rather awkward trying to get myself down with no light.
We have a Paccar engine in a DAF truck. It was blowing oil out of the breather pipe. We put new piston's and rings. It's clocking up the miles again. The guy said it has loads of power now.
Thanks for the video, I agree with the trust issue, unfortunate as it is, it’s the norm anymore. No matter who is elected, they won’t be able to stop the inevitable, one might slow it down, the other might speed it up. Enjoyed watching.
Been through hurricanes with some of my neighbors and do trust them. New neighbors in an HOA down the road no chance! They think they own everything. Can’t wait for them to realize they don’t and those of us who have been here aren’t going to put up with their crap.
I was just talking about how us Americans should start acting right by each other people now get unhinged real quick we should start sticking together IMHO
The thing that worries me about AI, is the kids at school who can use it to do their homework and assessments, as I said earlier, they’re monetising stupidity so why would they strive for tertiary education and good jobs, the robots are doing it for them.
Hi mate , i all ways like hearing your comments on life , the USA sounds so much like Australia where i am from , the world is pretty fucked up now 🤷♂️ keep up the good work mate 👍
Theres a reason Gov. McCall, back in the sixties told California people that they could come here and leave some of their money, then get the Hell out! For the same reasons that are happening now. Sad state of affairs. Todd Konoske the retired trucker.
The problem we have today is that the younger generation want it now and do not understand that if you can not pay for it right away then save for it. The plastic is the worse thing to use as if you can not afford it you are going to pay for it 4 times over by the time you have paid your card off. They do not see what they call the baby boomers had to save for what they wanted as there was never the plastic card out back then. You could buy things on layby as you paid it off but you only got it when it was finished paying for it over 3 months.
A dollar went a lot further for boomers than us millennials. So I see the alure of charge everything but I'm smart enough not to. I have zero debt besides my mortgage.
