Warren, I can't tell you enough how much I enjoy your post. I'm not the only one who is fed up with this government! Keep the faith, my friend. A new day is coming!
Well as usual i got censored and deleted on MSN today trying to make true comments about illegal immigrants. Some guy was on there saying we or our ancestors were all immigrants. So, i tried to tell him that the difference is our ancestors came here legally not crossing borders or flying into the country illegally. MSN DELETED THAT COMMENT. Why, it's the truth? So, on MSN you either get censored before you even try to post or they delete the comment right after. Sickening. These a-holes should lose their license to operate. Most of these dipsticks watch nothing but the left-wing media who hide stories and their followers are clueless to what is really happening. Not that they would care because when you do get some FACTS by MSN the leftie goofs vote it down or call you a moron. ODD how they can get away with calling a conservative a "moron" on MSN, but the reverse is censored. THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME ON THERE WHICH SHOWS WHAT HYPOCRITES MSN IS.
I live in the UK and I feel for our American friends over the pond. We are just as fed up with our Government and it has only just been voted into office! Hopefully things will be better for you one day you deserve it.
Warren for 10 years now I’ve always wanted to be like you. I always think of how well rounded you are to jump from pickup to dozer to tractor. You’re probably the best mechanic I have ever seen in my life
Congratulations to Your Daughter on finishing school Warren. When people griped at me about the excess grease here and there on my equipment, i just smiled, nodded and agreed that i was guilty. I've been an arse-hole so long I'm getting pretty good at it. Thanks again for posting this content and Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
Having done electrical work for many decades I worked with the original T&B nylon Tywraps. They had the metal tabs in them. They tightened down just about as tight as you would ever want to tighten them and they never ever broke. They would also last for decades being made of nylon instead of plastic. I've always used a Tywrap tool that lets you adjust the amount of torque you want, pulls them tight and then cuts them off under pressure so the cut edge is below the tab and won't ever cut you. The original T&B nylon Tywraps also cost real money. They were expensive. In later years the cheap plastic Tywraps started to show up everywhere. They only cost a fraction but I found I had to really loosen the torque setting on the tool, and even then about half of them break off. If they sit around in containers off gassing they break even easier. I've opened wiring cabinets to find the plastic cheap Tywraps laying in the bottom broken. The modern Tywraps to me are worthless. I know sooner or later they're going to break off and leave whatever you were hoping to secure unsecured.
Hey Warren, great video, can’t with for the rebuild. I worked on F4 aircraft for the airforce as a civilian in depot. I worked about 15 years in fuel systems. My hands used to crack and bleed from the chemicals I used. Gloves really didn’t help much as my hands would sweat so much that my skin would peel. I finally got a new job and my hands healed up but it took years. Also it took six months for the fuel smell out of my body. If I touched my mustache I could smell it. Thanks much for the video!
Yeah, sometimes i wonder too. When i was an apprentice, we washed parts bare handed in solvents and thought nothing of the harm we might be doing to our bodies. NOBODY thought of it back then. Same thing with ear protection. Did quite a bit of air arcing too with no concern for safety. Eventually all our full-time welders were equipped with welding helmets with the battery-operated fan/filtered breathing apparatus. Then about 8 months after i retired tinnitus started and eventually got worse which can be pretty damned annoying. Some days worse than others. So, when these know-it-alls spout off about the "safety nazis" at their work they should pay attention instead of mocking. I have seen a few here on YT.
I feel you on the money crunch, i have helped a lot of my family out, and then got hurt in an accident pretty bad, was diagnosed with progressive MS after no one could figure that out for nearly ten year's, and then ended up with a parathyroid problem that pulled calcium out of my bones. I had high calcium for year's, it gave me kidney stone's, caused most of my teeth to break, and then the calcium caused bone spurs in all my joints, heels, and down my spine. Had anyone done their job, I'd wouldn't be so messed up, but they ignored it until i changed family Dr's, but ten year's of it did a lot of damage that could have caused a heart attack or stroke. When i would sweat, there would be a white powder on my clothes, and i could shake the stuff off my shirt when it dried, that was from my bones. I am just glad that i was able to pay my house off, and just have about 4,000 in debt to pay off, which i plan on doing as quick as i can. I never had a chance to really save any money, but i thank the Lord that I'm not in a wheelchair, and i try to be as active as i can to stay mobile, because the damn MS has caused severe muscle wasting on my entire left side, which causes weakness and numbness. I get frustrated because i can barely feel my left hand, and my dexterity is pretty bad. I count myself fortunate though, because there are people worse off than i am. I see a lot of people struggle to pay rent and feed their kid's. This economy is gonna really wake some people up who don't believe what's going on. Most people don't know that mystery babylon is in meka, and that the false prophet came from there, and that there are many thing's in the good book which show all this. I would give you a good source, but the owner's of this platform censor what i write, and make it almost impossible to tell people. I may be called crazy for my faith, and opinions, but i don't care, because this world is not my forever home, i came from my Father in heaven. I don't believe in religion, it just divides and deceives people, but i read and study the word myself, and have seen the proof of many thing's. G-d bless.
I can remember growing up there was a guy who was a young man when i was probably in my teens. Playing ball, he would be running and fall down, people would laugh and call him clumsy. Well as years progressed and he got worse they found out he had MS. Wife divorced him, moved in with another guy, and that poor ex ended up in one of those wheelchairs that operate with your mouth--slight air pressure i think or if i am wrong maybe someone will correct. He has passed away now and i forget how old he was. They had kids, who kept in touch with him as far as i know, he was quite some distance away in a care facility. Thanks for sharing your story.
It's a little bit nice to work on some of your bigger stuff at home I'm sure. Definitely going to be a good build different motor for me personally. Good to see that the chickens look healthy and everybody's doing fairly well even though we don't know what's going to happen in the future!!! Would love to come help again some time!! It's been awhile since I have watched your videos. No reason other than I have focused more in my family the last five months or so. Briefly, I went in the hospital with a UTI, I let myself get dehydrated and, was taken to a local hospital. The next evening when my wife left she fell, in the hospital and broke her left leg right at the knee, shattered her knee cap and broke her left arm. And to top things off the powers that be at the hospital wouldn't let our special needs child stay even though we had know one to take care of him. So we've all been through hell and back. But I am glad to be watching your channel again, I just pi ked up the tip of putting all the positive ends together with a zip ties. Stay safe!

Hey Warren, i started wearing gloves many year's ago, after my step dad got oil poisoning. He can't even touch used oil or grease because his hands will blister or just split open. There's a lot of bad stuff in the used oil and grease. I don't always care for my hands sweating from the gloves, but it's better than being exposed to a bunch of chemicals. G-d bless.

Appreciate the Videos, Warren. I agree with you 100% about the gloves and protecting your hands from oil and grease. I work commercial industrial HVACR, so you have the refrigerant mixed with the oil most times. Definitely can mess with your skin.
We raised about 30 turkeys every year back on the farm. Mom and Dad would butcher them at Xmas and sell dressed for some extra money. One year i don't know what the hell happened, but those turkeys were the meanest basta*ds we ever had. They would chase you and even my parents had never seen anything like it. One year we had a bad outbreak of grasshoppers, the turkeys would get side by side, actually touching one another, and walk down the field eating every grasshopper in sight. We had geese at one time too and us kids would go check eggs when they went to the dugout for water. That would bring them back running, flapping, and squawking. Dad always said "they ever catch you, you'll be sorry".
I still have a few heavy industrial zip ties from a couple of jobs I've had, where the guys that were using them brought four times as many as they could possibly need for the job and left them lying around all over the place !
I have no personal experience, but have been told that the N14 Cummins normally had low oil pressure when compared to most diesel engines. Jeff Anderson (Jaypaydirt) did some videos on the N14 in his Peterbuilt dump truck and got the oil pressure up to where he was happy with it, at about 60 lbs. He said Cummins at the time the N14 was produced felt that high oil pressure washed/eroded the engine bearings. I don't know one way or the other.
That engine brings back memories haven’t seen one in awhile. That and the M11, rocker box nightmares. And yea zip ties are junk now days. Lots of head gaskets in those ole N14s at least that I’ve seen
When it REALLY counts (race cars, etc.) I use Thomas and Betts wire ties with the steel insert lock tab. They are the BEST, but you definitely pay for them...
Zip-ties, better said: the original Ty-Rap from "Thomas & Betts" never failed. I still have the original first ones I got from the Sixties with the steel clip in it. Good job by the way.
