Literally the reason why I stopped using priest as my main it's simply because of the stake and it's weakness to f#$king runners on HARDCORE. Sure, you can use the crucifix but that's a huge waste because there is other ways to use it and runners are like the LAST thing to use it on since most of the time, Crucifix is used for finales or just big hordes of zombies like the horde of runners at San Sebastian.
^Most classes use the standard Sabre for melee combat, exceptions being Chaplain and the Sapper. I don't know what you mean by Surgeons not being meant to deal damage considering they cannot even get supplies without attacking 💀
the priests are not allowed more weapons, it’s a support class and the devs are dead set on never giving it more weapons. not to mention it’s against their religion to go gungho with melee weapons like zweihanders and violently decapitating their enemy when they’re priests, not crusaders. priests will be getting more teachings and such however. as for surgeons, there is no historically accurate weapon you could give for them unless you go the route of giving them pistols or fusils, rapiers or that dreaded bonesaw that they didn’t add. most surgeons just used sabres or guns lmao

Its Alamo, Southern Texas, it is located in the Mexican-American border in Present days The map will surely be about the Texan Revolution In Mexico, More specifically "The Battle of Alamo" in March 6th 1836 The Nations would probably be America, Texas, and Mexico. I do not want to spoil the map, but I am giving information. Correct me if I'm wrong, thx for reading.
The new objective for vardo feels a lot more desperate… like they know there’s a slim chance of being saved and yet they call out with the bell, risking attracting more and more hordes of zombies just for that one hope of being rescued. It’s awesome

I am so happy to see the progression of this game over this last year. G&B never disappoints every update. Also, I've seen a theme the last 3 updates: focus on 1 class in particular to spice it up and maybe a bit extra elsewhere. For the overhaul of the game with Berezina and Tyrol, the Sapper was focused on with the pickaxe and siege armour. Copenhagen, the Line Infantry with rifle, horse artillery pistol, and heavy sabre. And now this update adds to the Seaman, with navy pistol and boarding axe. I am so glad to see all these new changes and look forward to what comes!
Dang, the interaction update is gonna be really fun! I'd like to hold the clay dishes or the holy icons scattered around the houses. It's the little pointless features where you actually feel like you're in a real place rather than following a concrete path 😅
I mean, G&B fanbase is mostly mature people (or atleast mature considering the average player age of Roblox, being mostly kids💀) so the devs doesnt need to brive us with a character just for the votes.
Its amazing to see that its still true that a quality game, made with time, love, and care will make profits and popularity unmatched by any low quality cash in can dream of! GnB Update Suggestions: I’m no developer so if it’s hard, I wouldn’t know, but I was thinking of like a few ideas, maybe they are useful for inspiration or simply encouraging? (For maps) Like, what if we got a Holdout/Objective map for the path to the Tyrollean Village? I feel like that’d be a cool nod to the holdout at Tyro as an endless map. Or maybe, after the new update with the American map and the Vardøhus revamp (Which I’m excited for), what if Moscow became like a real map? It would be fascinating to see NPCs doing what the ones on like the ship in Vardø doing the same thing but using Napoleonic tactics since this’d be relatively close to the Blight’s discovery. (For gameplay) In terms of gameplay, obviously there are the weapons, but I think musicians need more of a buff to keep people using them not just as a joke since I’m pretty sure most fifers do it for the memes (Don’t blame them) or the badge. This is to empower the whole gimmick of being in the Napoleonic Wars, as musicians are notorious for being prominent in this century’s warfare and it would be nice to see the musician being taken seriously as a class that can actually really help a team, maybe even as much as Seamen or Officers (Right below Sappers) in usefulness. Also, it’s great new zombie types are being added, since the current groupings of Shambler, Runner, Barrel Bomber, Zapper and Igniter are quite small and 4 specials is quite easy to get used to. What if we get map-specific Specials to keep certain maps intriguing? Like ambushers for some forest or outpost maps, maybe even a shield zombie for more tankiness than the Zapper but less damage? I also hope Sappers get either a nerf (Not too big) or a counter (Other than barrel bombers) that can prevent Sappers carrying every run and rendering every other unit sorta “less useful”. Also, what if some maps have sacrifice gimmicks like in San Sebastián, since the game’s themes (At least to me) revolve around sacrificing. Like what if someone has to carry around a barrel to open a door or something at the end, Jacob-style? What if there was a weapon, like a lit lantern that could be thrown, maybe even the Jack’o’lantern so that fire can be dealt to zombies like how Igniters throw them? This’d be quite cool, maybe someone could do an Igniters cosplay and besides, it adds light as a passive. (For extras) If possible, a musket revamp would be quite cool, as in their designs and animations vary based on faction or nation, like how the Charleville’s for the French. I love the horror aspects of Guts and Blackpowder, so I was thinking what if we get more ambience music, tensely quiet or densely dark moments or even parts where teams have to split up to do certain things with less people to make it have said moments be even more terrifying? Zombies suddenly emerging from a foggy or dim region after ZERO sounds or anything at all would be horrifying and quite frankly, pretty tense for the first few times. What if depending on the majority of nations present or factions (French or Coalition), maybe NPCs have different reactions? Maybe? But that’d be hard for voice actors and translations. (Conclusion) Anyways, SUPER good work with the game already, Guts and Blackpowder will probably stay one of my favorite horror-action games and I hope this gave some inspiration to you, the developers, even if not all will or can be added.

I have a suggestion or weapon concept for a sword for Officer; the Zweihander. It automatically beheads zombies and only has access to alternating side swings that have incredible penetration (like, 20 or something) but the catch is that it is super heavy; it takes a bit to sheath and unsheath, with an animation, slows you down while equipped, and has a short windup animation for the first swing in a chain. Any subsequent slashes have a windup as well, but it is much shorter than the initial windup. The weapons gimmick is that when combining it with the Charge ability, it can be a powerhouse, with all of those weight debuffs gone. It functions like a regular saber until the effects end, where the officer becomes tired (blurred vision, heavy panting, maybe reddened skin and faster infection buildup, until they do a long animation of recuperating). Like the Pike/Lance, it replaces both firearm and melee options. You only get the Zweihander, no saber or pistol for you. I think this might make a nice sidegrade, promoting coordination between team members to cover Officers. Also, it would just be cool to see giant hordes of zombies get beheaded.
A cool feature for the Alamo map, is making there be a daylight cycle, at the beginning of the map, it’s still night, halfway through it’s dawn, and when the game ends, the sun is up, but still a dawn setting. Of course, if the game ends, earlier because one team won, it will stop then

I hope the pickaxe gains an additional gimmick, because I feel people only use it just because it's the only sapper unlock. The axe still kills far more zombies per swings, so the pickaxe is only useful on Berezina where the zombies are much more spread out on that bridge.

I could've sworn the point of directional attacks was to change attacks from hitting multiple enemies to only hitting a few? Surely flipping the axe is just a more complex version of that?
No because it will increase the damage when flipping it and lower the penetration stat to make it so you can only hit one or two zombies. Unlike directional attacks which keep the same damage and penetration no matter which way you attack.
@@PunchattackTF2 But... the damage and penetration DO change depending on direction. Take the heavy sabre, for example. The headshot can only hit one zombie, but does intense damage. The side swing can hit the most zombies, but does terribly low damage. The downward thrust hits just slightly less than the sideways one, but does more damage and is quicker.
@@d-boi9785every swing on the heavy sabre hits the same amount, only the sideswings do less damage. EVERY melee weapon except for the bayonet hits 3 zombies

They're a support class, they're not supposed to be good with damage. New tools most likely going to be added later on for them but not weapon.

It would be fascinating to see NPCs doing what the ones on like the ship in Vardø doing the same thing but using Napoleonic tactics since this’d be relatively close to the Blight’s discovery.

In terms of gameplay, obviously there are the weapons, but I think musicians need more of a buff to keep people using them not just as a joke since I’m pretty sure most fifers do it for the memes (Don’t blame them) or the badge. This is to empower the whole gimmick of being in the Napoleonic Wars, as musicians are notorious for being prominent in this century’s warfare and it would be nice to see the musician being taken seriously as a class that can actually really help a team, maybe even as much as Seamen or Officers (Right below Sappers) in usefulness.
Also, it’s great new zombie types are being added, since the current groupings of Shambler, Runner, Barrel Bomber, Zapper and Igniter are quite small and 4 specials is quite easy to get used to. What if we get map-specific Specials to keep certain maps intriguing? Like ambushers for some forest or outpost maps, maybe even a shield zombie for more tankiness than the Zapper but less damage? I also hope Sappers get either a nerf (Not too big) or a counter (Other than barrel bombers) that can prevent Sappers carrying every run and rendering every other unit sorta “less useful”.
Also, what if some maps have sacrifice gimmicks like in San Sebastián, since the game’s themes (At least to me) revolve around sacrificing. Like what if someone has to carry around a barrel to open a door or something at the end, Jacob-style?
What if there was a weapon, like a lit lantern that could be thrown, maybe even the Jack’o’lantern so that fire can be dealt to zombies like how Igniters throw them? This’d be quite cool, maybe someone could do an Igniters cosplay and besides, it adds light as a passive.
(For extras)
If possible, a musket revamp would be quite cool, as in their designs and animations vary based on faction or nation, like how the Charleville’s for the French.
I love the horror aspects of Guts and Blackpowder, so I was thinking what if we get more ambience music, tensely quiet or densely dark moments or even parts where teams have to split up to do certain things with less people to make it have said moments be even more terrifying? Zombies suddenly emerging from a foggy or dim region after ZERO sounds or anything at all would be horrifying and quite frankly, pretty tense for the first few times.
What if depending on the majority of nations present or factions (French or Coalition), maybe NPCs have different reactions? Maybe? But that’d be hard for voice actors and translations.

Anyways, SUPER good work with the game already, Guts and Blackpowder will probably stay one of my favorite horror-action games and I hope this gave some inspiration to you, the developers, even if not all will or can be added.

I have a suggestion or weapon concept for a sword for Officer; the Zweihander.
It automatically beheads zombies and only has access to alternating side swings that have incredible penetration (like, 20 or something) but the catch is that it is super heavy; it takes a bit to sheath and unsheath, with an animation, slows you down while equipped, and has a short windup animation for the first swing in a chain. Any subsequent slashes have a windup as well, but it is much shorter than the initial windup.
The weapons gimmick is that when combining it with the Charge ability, it can be a powerhouse, with all of those weight debuffs gone. It functions like a regular saber until the effects end, where the officer becomes tired (blurred vision, heavy panting, maybe reddened skin and faster infection buildup, until they do a long animation of recuperating).
Like the Pike/Lance, it replaces both firearm and melee options. You only get the Zweihander, no saber or pistol for you.
I think this might make a nice sidegrade, promoting coordination between team members to cover Officers. Also, it would just be cool to see giant hordes of zombies get beheaded.

A cool feature for the Alamo map, is making there be a daylight cycle, at the beginning of the map, it’s still night, halfway through it’s dawn, and when the game ends, the sun is up, but still a dawn setting. Of course, if the game ends, earlier because one team won, it will stop then

I hope the pickaxe gains an additional gimmick, because I feel people only use it just because it's the only sapper unlock. The axe still kills far more zombies per swings, so the pickaxe is only useful on Berezina where the zombies are much more spread out on that bridge.

I could've sworn the point of directional attacks was to change attacks from hitting multiple enemies to only hitting a few? Surely flipping the axe is just a more complex version of that?
No because it will increase the damage when flipping it and lower the penetration stat to make it so you can only hit one or two zombies. Unlike directional attacks which keep the same damage and penetration no matter which way you attack.
@@PunchattackTF2 But... the damage and penetration DO change depending on direction. Take the heavy sabre, for example. The headshot can only hit one zombie, but does intense damage. The side swing can hit the most zombies, but does terribly low damage. The downward thrust hits just slightly less than the sideways one, but does more damage and is quicker.
