Jay I suffer from awful panic attacks and your videos really do help me out. And I continue to appreciate what you do man. You really do help with my mental health issues as of late and I’m truly thankful for you and you’re videos in my life. And I wish you and you’re family the best of the holidays. Thank you for keeping me with a smile on my face.
Im a big PC gamer and theres nothing I love more than your videos on my second screen when I got a cold one cracked. Cheers to you, I know this is an old video but every time i try a new beer i try to see if you've reviewed it so i can drink it with you. Thank you, I really liked this beer!
Didn't really get the same experience David had here. It's a bit grassy, but also very refreshing. This is a delicious beer and one of my personal favorites. I don't find it overly bitter, but I also drink IPA's so I'm used to far more bitter flavors. Definitely more oomph to it than American Adjuncts.
I like this one quite a bit. I find it to be similar to Heineken or something like that, but with a mellower taste. It is quite drinkable to me, although it is not my favorite or anything like that. I first had it at an Italian restaurant some years ago and it went well with the food. This is one of those that I will just pick up from time to time, just to get something other than the stuff I usually get, but to still get something I know I will like.
really refreshing after a hard days work .. but needs to be cold tastes better and get more of the flavor, quite a expense her in the UK at £3 a bottle 620ml which I think is about 21 ounces. Great video as always!
Not as good as German or Czech but who else is (nobody in my book) but even so i am a strong fan of this beer. Underrated and wish you could find it at more places than just Italian restaurants and the like. Picked up a meatball sandwich and slice of pizza (to go) from local pizza spot the a few days ago. In the car bringing food back to the house was thinking a Peroni would be the perfect compliment so hit nearby supermarket on the way home and was hoping to find Peroni 6 pack. They didn't have 6, 12 pack only - so almost got 4 pack of Grolsch instead but some internal debate opted for the 12 pack of Peroni bottles after all. I put this beer on par with Heineken and ahead of the highly overrated Stella, nice beer especially with the pizza + italian food and for summer/ warm weather situations.
I thought David would enjoy this beer. But I have heard that many other people don't really care for it either. I think Peroni is a smooth easy drinking beer with a pleasant taste. It pairs perfectly with Italian food, and most other food as well.
Do you get good ocean scallops down there? We get a lot of puny Chesapeake Bay scallops, but the ocean ones are pretty expensive. But worth it if you can find the right ones. I like my scallops sauteed in butter and a little bacon fat... Oh boy!! do I love those!
Thanks man!I love you input! But tell me .into my 24 young year in Florence Italy. I tried some Europeans beer cant recall the country it was a red beer! And it was red! Never tasted again! It was my favorite. Left Italy 82!Now in Australia and still in this moment drinkind VB!Bitter!Which really I adore bitter beer! For My taste? Beer?gotta be bitter! But still cant forget that red!And I mean red! Smooth beatiful beer!!Any idea what was it? X
Just having a Peroni beer today for the first time in a while and it tastes a little light compared to what it used to...still 5.1% though. I never understood you guys and your hate for 11.2oz?? it's a standard European size...surely if they served you it in the bigger 12 oz size they would just charge you more. hah
Well, Europe's big bottles & cans trump ours, with 16.9oz. vs. our 16oz. ones. But, we do have the rarer 18oz. bottles, too. Anyway, thanks again for watching, ben.
@@ronaldtheriot hi Jay.... i know Peroni singles are hard to find. But its now summer and Peroni is perfect summer beer. Time to grab a 6 pack and a single of Heiny and do the comparison .... me and a few friends cant wait to watch!
I’m with David on this, I stay away from Peroni. It has a weird artificial taste I can’t get down with. It’s not a drain pourer, but it’s not as enjoyable as comparable priced beers.
What I got from it you can drink it not cold or ice cold it taste really tasteful not cold and in ice cold the sweetness and the super hops leave prefer it warm it’s how it’s drank in Europe keeping it cold just preserves it it’s a really distinct beer truth be told
I thought this beer was above average, but the price is a bit to much for me for the quality of it. I know cheaper beers in my country that are still better. So although I appreciate the experience of trying a new quality beer I won’t be changing my every day drink.
I found a Peroni glass a few months ago at a thrift store but only got around to actually trying their beer in the past few days despite meaning to for a long time. It seems a bit more bitter than most typical eurolagers I've tried, but also seems more sweet due to the maize. I'm not sure how I'd rate it versus typical eurolagers, I typically would prefer either stronger bitterness akin to German/Czech Pilsners or a more rounded profile like the Okocim Lager, Carlsberg or German Helles, but it is still quite enjoyable. I typically view Adjunct lagers a bit below all malt equivalent but I've enjoyed this more than both AB Inbev American brewed Reinheitsgebot lager's I've revisited recently, which was Beck's and Stella Artois. I've never had the original German or Belgium verisons of those beers, but they just seemed somewhat off to me, to the point where I'd rather have a solid AAL such as Coors Banquet than either of them.
It's strange, because we hang out, as friends, discuss beer, and have a good time. Yet, when we do recorded videos and don't completely agree, people say it's awkward. We never perceive the awkwardness, because we approach it as just recording us trying products and discussing it. Thanks for watching, Angel Adame. I appreciate it!
you sure David didn't have a dirty glass or something... I don't think I've ever disagreed with him before....but wow!!! Peroni is very overpriced in England (10 x 330ml bottles for 12 quid wen I can get 18 x 440ml cans of Stella for the same price.) I certainly wouldn't be able to say it is anything but excellent though.
It's about $9.99 for a six-pack, here. Well, he just didn't care for it, but I think if he drank more of it, and got used to it, he might warm up to it.
@@ronaldtheriot see even that sounds weird to me cause it just doesn't seem like the type of beer that needs much contemplation....straight forward well rounded and flavorful..im still sure he had a dish soap glass. haha

I always enjoy this on draft at my local tavern along with Carlsberg and Pilsner urquell. Great Trio on draft!
Whew! I'd love to try this, and Carlsberg, on draft! Pilsner Urquell, I've had on draft, before. Loved it.

Very good review together, and I have always enjoyed this one.
Thanks, Bucky! I enjoy it, too.
I love your last word, “in lest you like good beer” This beer is above average, period!
Thanks for watching, Mitchell!
good beer. The peroni bitterness I did not like much at first but after I got used to it I actually prefer it over Heineken
Yes, me, too, rn.
I need to pick some of this up soon. I love me the euro pale lager style.

Good comments, and Peroni Nastro Assuro really is a nice product.
If I can find a Spaten Lager near me, Peroni Nastro Azzurro is my choice for a European lager. So refreshing!
It's a decent substitute for Spaten. Thanks for watching, Chile Pizza. I appreciate it!

We do get them, but they are expensive and some are from China.
An Italian restaurant I went to last night had this on tap but I passed on it because they had some more exotic craft offerings.
I think I'd like to sample the draft version.
Your loss.
I love this beer and I love Italy! Great review as always!
Thanks, and I would like to visit Italy.
I don't find this all that bad, 8/10 for the style, great with food :)
I agree with you. Yeah, those types of cans are quite rare, in Louisiana.

Well, now I notice Walmart selling canned six-packs of it, MM.
My sentiments exactly, it goes great with pizza.

Excellent, Ralph! I think we think alike, for many of these products!

Peroni or Asahi which one do you prefer?
Asahi, I think. Thanks for watching, Rakesh Sharma. I appreciate it!

I buy it when it is BoGo at Publix It does go great with Pizza
