God, that woman is so irresponsible, breeding after an already complicated previous birth and only 2 years old, poor dog 😮.

@@tinaanduzi I dream every day about moving to Europe. What stops me is that my grown kids don’t want to go and I don’t want to be alone there. But, daily, America becomes a more dangerous, depressing and backwards place. I’m old enough to remember what it used to be like and it breaks my heart. (Ik I sound like a boomer whining about the old days but young ppl have NO IDEA how much things have worsened.) Idk-maybe someday. Anyway, enjoy your mostly sane country!

Gucci's owner is such a greedy, uncaring person to put her dog through a second litter at 2 years old after already having a complicated birth last time, and Bondi Vet needs to be actively discouraging this behavior because this can end with the poor girl getting complications from having multiple pregnancies and infection from breeding, and once she's no longer a viable breeder for this owner then Gucci is gonna get tossed out like a broken toy and replaced with a new one.
I agree that even at the risk of losing a client, VETS should give their opinion about breeding too early an age, breeding dogs that almost always have trouble whelping, and in this case breeding her again so soon.

are you saying that dog is 2 years old (2:53), having her second litter of pups when a year before she struggled (4:23)? as vets surly you see an issue there that needs to be raised? and as for the owner, you are a vile person. protect that dog or give it to someone who can.
The bulldog c-section isn’t a new segment. I’m surprised they repeated it.
I can’t speak to why a woman who “loves Gucci and Prada” would breed a French bulldog twice in 2 years, I’m not her, but I suspect money from puppy sales was a factor.

@@yourgodismean4526 Really all dog breeds, in my opinion, should only be bred if it is part of projects to make the breeds healthier. Like how people are trying to breed the hip problems out of German shepherds. Too many health issues, too many stray dogs, too few good homes for them all. I really don’t know if brachycephalic breeds can be saved at all though like some others definitely can. Maybe someday it will be a requirement to castrate them. They live in pain and it’s humanity’s fault. Pugs can’t even breed without human intervention! Nature wants us to stop. I hope more people listen. Adopt, don’t shop.

i.e., the 4 Ash's. I had to laugh. At my current job I was the only Julie for 15-20 years then in one year we got 3 more in just my office. That was really confusing. That only lasted for about 18 months before they moved on to other units and I was with only Julie once again.

And what stinks for vets is they often gotta be really careful about criticizing owners, because ultimately, it's the animals who pay for any bad choices the owner makes, which can include "I don't really want to go to this vet/ I'll avoid vets because they're just going to judge me!". Kinda the same reason why I think it would be very hard to work in childcare. Toxic adults who aren't doing anything illegal, but are still going to negatively impact their kids.

I had to skip over gucci entirely. That's a horrible dog to breed, let alone when it has so many complications. Those dogs are already bred too much as is.
It’s very infuriating to see French Bulldog be Bred. They have so many issues with their pushed in nose. Sad really. This lady should not have any pets.
Between Dr. Brown helping with horse races and nobody calling out Gucci’s owner for vastly irresponsible breeding, sometimes these vets miss the mark.

Agreed I would not put Gucci through another live birth because French bulldogs just cannot have puppies. They always end up having a C-section, but I would not put my puppy in that risk.

I don't understand why not everyone uses the swing method to clear the puppies and get them breathing. I've seen Dr. Chris use the method before many times. It's not a guarantee, but it is another technique to try. 🤷🏾♀
I like how the vets, when dealing with large animals, put the needle in first before screwing on the syringe. It's so much safer for the animal and people involved.

Adopt Don’t Shop! My dog came from an animal adoption center. He’s a fun character an mix of Schnauzer, Border Collie and Cattle Dog. Our cats came from Kauai and adopted them from the same place as our dog.

I get so mad when I hear about these little marsupials being hit and then being left on the side of the road nobody even stops to check to see if there was a baby in the pouch and it just really makes me not like people you hit some thing like that you need to stop and make sure that it’s OK actually dead or in the case of marsupials you got another thing to worry about you need to check that pouch for a baby
