    I'm hoping that since all these mama dogs are having trouble giving birth the next thing being done is to get them spayed! They don't need to be going through that and there are already so many dogs in shelters, being abandoned, etc. We should take care of what's already here 🥰

      YES PLEASE! We have a neighbor who let's his intact male cat just run around the neighborhood. Someone posted in the neighborhood page and the lady here who took it upon herself to run TNR here commented that the next time he is spotted out, she was going to catch him and neuter him..... we think the neighbor saw the post and comments and stopped letting him out. So at least for now he isn't fathering kittens outside but we are all watching out for him and going to catch him if we see him. It's just so irresponsible!

      That's exactly what I would have done, worked with it until it breathed. I don't think Chris works with nonresponding puppies long enough to give them a proper chance at life. I know this because I've seen many come back to life while in the hands of people who would not stop until they responded. I did this with 2 nonresponsive pups. I' would have taken it personal if they would not have come back as I didn't want to carry that guilt.

    • @francesheinig6420
      @francesheinig6420 Год назад +35

      @@janetbishop8542💯% the mighty dollar and that's why breeders will not stop. There's a vet that was on Animal Planet called Dr Jeff the Rocky Mountain Vet. He wouldn't treat an animal unless you had it spayed or neutered. He also treated animals on a sliding scale fee if you couldn't afford it. He would treat homeless ppls animals and only charge them what they could pay. He did a lot of remote veterinary services for free or low cost depending on the service. He helped a lot of sanctuaries and shelters with low cost services. Animal Planet cancelled his show recently. I think it's a shame to cancel a show like that where he and his staff of about 30 ppl do so much good in this world. I get that it's about ratings but still it's wrong. He should continue his show online live or recorded and I bet he would bring in bigger donations than he ever got before. He doesn't just have patients that are low income, he has patients that pay the full amount but he doesn't price gouge them either like most vets do and a lot of his paying patients leave donations for those who can't afford to pay that much too. He pays for a lot of things out of pocket bc he doesn't, as he puts it, need a fancy house with expensive cars or maids, etc... and his wife agrees. She works as a vet right along side of him.
      Check his show out, I'm sure you can find it somewhere online with your streaming services.

    What Dr Rob or Chris or any of the other Bondi veterinarians I have seen mention about caesareans versus vaginal births, is probably the most important. The fact with vaginal deliveries is the same with human vaginal deliveries the larges part is the head and shoulders followed by the rest of the animal which has been all these weeks/months in cases in a fluid sac the contractions help push the fluids out of the lungs and therefore the negative pressure to cause inspiration of air. I haven’t seen a lot of puppy births , never any when mom stands up and puppy lands on its head. ( giraffes and horses and even a ewe will sometimes stand)

      It's called greed. These vets have a responsibility as animal advocates to advise these people to discontinue breeding these dogs with high risk births. These owners that plan these breedings already know it is risky and difficult for these dogs. A lot of these breeds can't have natural births and have to deliver via cesarean. I have had one and they are extremely uncomfortable afterwards. Can you imagine how painful it is for the mommas to nurse their pups after delivering by C-section. 😢

They die everyday just waiting for a home. Please stop breeding. There are so many other ways that you can contribute to the breed without bringing more into the world. Volunteer at a rescue or become a foster. That way you could still contribute without costing another dog a forever home. Not to mention Anna doesn't look too thrilled lol. Seriously though. Some people want pedigrees where they know their history. That’s like saying you should be feeding homeless or starving in Africa instead of your own. I have several friends who have had rescue dogs and they have been a nightmare so anxious and scared and end up biting their children so they couldn’t keep it with one family the other who howled and barked all day at anyone coming into the home and the third who would not let anyone on the property without attacking them. Personally I know some are wonderful and suit many to rehome but I prefer to know the history and know my children are safe around known breed and history. So actually you are very judgmental and insulting. Keep your thoughts to yourself go adopt if that suits you but let others do what they want

    I help deliver over the past 35 years 3 0f our different family dogs puppies. They all wanted me to stay by them thru it all & would try to follow me while they were delivering if I left! My last one was my companion dog who was the smallest, Maltese, who had horrible allergies & needed steroid shots during pregnancy! Imagine my surprise when she had a large puppy that shocked us… max was twice his sister’s size & I really had to help her deliver him, gloves, turning, etc., including remove membranes since he totally exhausted her! Since I had to take steroids to carry my last pregnancy to near term I understood! I lost my almost fourteen year old friend last year but we still have those ‘pups’ who are now thirteen themselves ❤️

    Hello from the US. This video was right at an hour in length but it seemed much shorter. My nephew suspects that his Bully is pregnant for the first time . She has had her pregnancy test and now it’s wait and see. It so happens that I was doing my nightly YT playlist and coincidentally your video was recommended. I’ve sent it to my nephew so that nervous “dad” will have an idea of what to expect.
    There were 2 doggos that I instantly fell in love with, the Goldies, my absolute favorite breed. The last Goldie won my heart since since she was having the next set of assistance pups (they are really needed and I am an advocate and supporter of the largest organization that provides assistance animals to people who need them). Thank you to each and every person for all of the work that was done.

    Breeding is definitely necessary and when done ethically a really good thing 👍👍 but these here are mostly not ethical breeders and dogs who have trouble with birth because of their breed shouldn't breed. Ofc the lady with the German shepherd, the golden retriever and the last golden retriever I'm sure are definitely real breeders as it looks. Breeders do good things to help the breed and their health. But only ethical and not backyard breeders!
    Anyways beautiful episode ❤️

    • @theumpireofthebottomlesspit
      @theumpireofthebottomlesspit 10 месяцев назад

      How can you define if this is backyard breeding? Just because the owner had complications with dogs going through labor? That what makes them backyard breeders, and ethnically breeders must be perfect and not have complications? Wow.

    • @tinaanduzi
      @tinaanduzi 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@theumpireofthebottomlesspit sweety, yes it is. Because every ethical breeder would never do this. If a breeding dog does have problems with birth more than 2 times, it's unethical to breed it. That's a fact. I don't know what you guys do in the USA but the EU has better laws for that.

  • @a-b0t633

    Bindi should not have been bred. I don't know if it was an accident but she should have been spayed. Dogs that regularly need intervention is nature's way of saying "You are not fit to pass on genes." and that's how we end up with all these horribly unhealthy breeds.
