Lois Lane (Kerri Miller) and Clark Kent (Kevin Caliber) get assigned to the Press Corps in France near the end of WWII, in March of 1945. Lois and her photographer, Private Donald Callahan (Charlee Soffer), get kidnapped by Nazi Super Soldiers and taken as hostages to Berlin. To rescue them, Superman must stand up to Hitler's (Scott Michael Dunn) Super Soldiers. They are more formidable than any foes he has faced previously. Opposing philosophies of what the "Superman" is being explored. This film is Superman at his roots. The Director puts his Grandfather, who really was a WWII photographer, in the Jimmy Olson role. Supermen: World War is a feature-length Fan Film and a passion project!

That movie may not have had the biggest budget, but it had more heart than any blockbuster Hollywood has offered.
Makes me miss my grandfather. Served in the Pacific from 42-46. Died in 2017, just shy of his 95 birthday. They really were a generation of superheroes. Thank you very much for this.

Amazing fan film! Especially so as it was dedicated to the military. And the cherry on the sundae? That reference to Action Comics #1, the b&w photo of Superman holding up the car at the end! Extremely well done, gentlemen!
This is a great film of heroes superheroes who fought and liberated camps. We can only imagine if we a Superman during a World War. My condolences to the Donny Callahan family. There is no greater tribute than this. Upon seeing and reading the dedication my heart broke and cried. Thank you Mr. Callahan for your service.

Just finished watching it. I really enjoyed it. The fight scenes were great. Actors exchanging blows and not CGI fights. Great story and a great tribute to the heroes of WW 2, like your Grandad. I hope to see a sequel.

Great work by everyone involved! I have been a Superman fan all my life, and this film did the story justice! I especially loved the performance of Kerri Miller as Lois Lane. Her Best Actress Award was very well deserved.

For me, a WWII Fleischer style Live action superman movie is a dream come true. This is absolutely incredible
Just finished the movie. Lovely stuff, keeping true to the Superman lore and paying respect to the real life history military at the same time. I like how Don and the Field Marshal took the roles of Jimmy and Perry.
Doing a low budget superhero movie is one thing but a period piece cant have been easy! Great work getting all the right costumes and even some vintage cars.
For years and years I've wanted a Superman film set around this period, taking cues froim the serial and George Reeves incarnation, even though Captain America and Wonder Woman have been there. I like how you homaged the early comics as well and a twist I won't mention!

They really did do a great job on a period piece. Like you, I also had hoped for this piece. I saw the Wonder Woman movie and that was out of this world. But this one was more personal and done with care and respect.

Wow, this film must have been a lot of work. You all did a FANTASTIC job. It's an excellent tribute to the classic Superman. I can't help but imagine what else you'd be capable of with a bigger budget. I wish I could make movies like this with you guys.

At least it's accurate in that there really is a Metropolis in Illinois, but it's not accurate that it's a big city. It's just a tourist attraction, but it's not that special. The only real attraction they have is a statue of Superman, but that's it. It's a boring little small town really. I've been there more than once passing through when taking a trip between where I live now and where I grew up. The funny thing is, the comics and stories never said in which state their Metropolis is located, but I can assure you it's not in rural Illinois. The real one was most likely named after the fictional comic city, but they bear no resemblance to one another.
1) Fantastic movie!
2) Kevin and Kerri are the Golden Age Clark and Lois that we deserve and we need now.

Woah, I absolutely adore and love this movie! You guys did absolutely amazing with emulating the feel and tone of the classic version of Superman. I used to watch the old cartoon a lot back when I was a kid, and this brought back those memories perfectly. 10/10
Also, you guys should definitely think about getting this on dvd somehow. I'd definitely buy it!

This was well done. I liked how Superman’s costume design was like the old Fleischer cartoons. The music video at the end was great.

Fun movie. Thanks for making this! Love all the old cars and props. Loves the cinematography and lighting. Especially loved the fight scenes with the action packed filming style. The acting could use improvement. Would love to have seen Superman knock people into the distance. The Superman actor looks better than all the movie actors (but with stiff acting).
Can you do an Xmen movie that's true to the animated series. I'll love you forever.

This movie was fantastic especially with the end. You guys did a terrific job especially since I've recently started learning more about WW2 history and how as a comic Superman was in it, I felt it was a live version of those early comics. Like I said, fantastic all around!

This movie is great
After owning the Action comics issue #1000 and seeing this, it's truly good to see superman in his traditional red, champion-like trunks again, let alone the return of the iconic suit. Superman in his *truest form,* all in his glory once more :-D
Good Movie. Good Acting. No CGI. Need more live action films like this. Goes to show we don't need Hollywood to make a film! Keep up the good work! Fan Film genres are sometimes actually better. This is one of them!

I love looking at these movies by people who starting out in the business. Some make good movies and some not so good.
This movie is very good and the thing that I like about it is you didn't use the Superman of today you went back to the past where he actually began...the 1940's...
This is where he began his popularity. And you even brought back images from the comic books from that era. The last photograph remind me of that Action comic that i have seen dozen of times throughout my life.
I hope that you will continue to make more of these amazing movies from that era and one day i hope to see it played on the big screen.
