I have been waiting for something like this for 20 years. The future war was always talked more about in the books, and the sequences from all the movies nearly teased at the war, but this puts into a cohesive and coherent story that is absolutely top tier. Well done.

This fan-edit movie is better than the other Terminator movies. It puts all the other movies in a nutshell and gives a satisfying conclusion (up to this point) to the series. Excellent!
This movie was amazing. It took me through the first Terminator movie and the ones inbetween to show us how The T-800 (original Terminator was sent back and the mission of Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn). Outstanding presentation!!!!! Great to see the major faces of ALL the terminators exept Kristianna Loken who played the Terminator in Rise of the Machines.
This was the best fan made movie I've ever seen especially how you did the timeline of the war which led to Terminator part I in 1984,pure brilliant editing.

It sux when they honestly " run out of ideas ", and then all they do is make it up as they go along, just because they know they will be getting that million dollar paycheck at the end of the day. . The Terminator is what started my passion for robotics and mechanical engineering when I was a kid in the 80's. I always wanted to know what makes things ticked if something like the story ever happened. Very nice video edit, BTW!

45 years of war. cool. I was ex more sequels from the first terminator. For instance, the end at the gas station when Sarah drove the jeep wrangler. But, what I like the most dogs started barking at my left ear and finished it in my right. fkn AWESOME.
Right away, one thing this work did right in comparison to Salvation regarding the future war period, MOST of the storyline/action taking place at night, staying true to Kyle Reese's words from the first movie about how the human resistance can only come out in the night time as they have better chances of survival than the day. Just staying true to every little detail like that goes a long way into establishing a good canon story. Well done!
Awesome. This is the movie I wanted to see when I watched Kyle's flashback in the first movie. The short glimpses of the dark future needed fleshed out to improve the story.
1:13:50 The scene where Sarah and John are at the beach....where the music of the terminator begins to play.....to see John’s face turn from joy to sudden fear.... ....should have been the real ending to Terminator 2, which would’ve ended the franchise on a cliff hanger deserving a fan’s imagination to run wild with ideas on what John Connor saw, before the movie ended, that terrified him so much. - I’m glad my idea ending of choice was used here by another.

This is absolutely AWESOME! One of the best films I have ever seen. Way better than most of what came out of holywood in last 3-4 years. It is what Terminator 3 should have been. Aside from part 1 and 2 this is the best Terminator movie. Wipes the floor with trash like Terminator Gendersys or latest one (cant even remember the title). Absolutely awesome! Josh... if you put this together you did a super job. I love the way you used original actors as well as new people, of which I actually recognized several of them from other films. I recently found this and this has to be one of the best fan mix edits I’ve seen. As a follower of the fan editing community I’ve always had an appreciation for the art of editing, as so many “bad” films can be turned “good” just through a few minor cuts. But my favorites are always the ones that manage to mix together multiple sources to create an entirely new narrative, and this is easily the best. Your love for the franchise is clear, and the work really shows. Your talent is incredible: I’m also a horror filmmaker and I hope to see you in the industry, you truly deserve it! Please keep up the editing and film work, you only will get better with time and practice, and with the skill you show with this edit, I know that you will turn out to be one of the best editors around. Josh... if you put this together you did a super job. I love the way you used original actors as well as new people, of which I actually recognized several of them from other films. I just wish you could’ve made it a little longer. A two hour film would have been really great.

I recently found this and this has to be one of the best fan mix edits I’ve seen. As a follower of the fan editing community I’ve always had an appreciation for the art of editing, as so many “bad” films can be turned “good” just through a few minor cuts. But my favorites are always the ones that manage to mix together multiple sources to create an entirely new narrative, and this is easily the best. Your love for the franchise is clear, and the work really shows. Your talent is incredible: I’m also a horror filmmaker and I hope to see you in the industry, you truly deserve it! Please keep up the editing and film work, you only will get better with time and practice, and with the skill you show with this edit, I know that you will turn out to be one of the best editors around. I can’t say enough how much I love this. Thank you for the hard work that was surely put into this. Have a blessed life my man, you got this editing business by the ass!

Thanks for the resistance, we are all here watching this great movie like this future will never happened but as sci-fi. Never the less there is still our own future we will have to deal with in our present based in our past, molded by the past future for a better present.. Great job Josh
The terminator is real, giant tanks will blow up everything in its stop, we need to find a special transistor that blocks the robots from reading our minds in the future.
I've never heard of this before. It genuinely wraps the whole story up an is also the terminator film I've always wanted to see!
